That depends, some will be not easy to deal with early game, others will be mini-boss level, then some as world boss level and others just regular trash mobs. One of the goals I will be hunting for is POIs, that will be off limits for early game, infested by mutants out of your early game power level and so on.

With every custom creature I will try my best to add in custom resources that you will be able to harvest from them, that will be used in crafting mods, equipment, weapons etc, promoting reasons to hunt specific types of mobs or avoid them (certain creatures will have special attacks and debuffs).

I've said it many times before, I'll say it once more - I've barely started with Undead Legacy, main goal was to flesh out the core systems before getting into the phase of adding more creatures.

I know it's your mod and you'll do what you want. But my hope is you don't jump the shark.

Madmole already told us what he planned to do with the crafting system long before the a21 thread was opened. Basically It's a "learn by crafting" system that allows the player to gradually improve the graded items ( he offered weapons as an example) he/she crafts in order to keep the progression and the crafting interesting. He will indeed give us more details, but nothing to worry about as it sounded quite good. If legendary effects come into play at the same time it will be even "awesomeer".

Just how many clubs or guns or tools do you craft in a game? 1 of each type? 2? If that's it then initial impressions are........ less than favorable.

I also had a similar issue with latest version of the game, which is still not solved after trying to do lot of search's and finding solution's on net, But I hope it will solve by the dev's soon.

If you're expecting the PC version to somehow magically work on your console you're dreaming.  If you are on a console you will get the console version on gamepass.

So it doesn´t change to appdata in 20.4 anymore now?

    From the patch notes:

Mods are now loaded from <UserDataFolder>/Mods (i.e. the folder that also stores saves, e.g. on Windows %APPDATA%/7DaysToDie/Mods) in addition to <game folder>/Mods. In a future build this will change to only load from that new location so no data is written/changed in the program folder at any time.

I *theorize* (and it’s possible I have read this on the forums and forgot) that the shark is (was) a way to keep players from just swimming all horde (or any) night long. I

The Shark model being there is the result of a long running joke about land sharks and one day an artist put in a crude model as part of the joke. it was never actually IN the game nor intended to be.

Well farming is now broken and useless if you don't have 3/3 so it need to be repair

    That's just totally untrue.

Here, they give you the best choice and it never changes.

If you always make the same choice then yes, you're right. As I said, if a player has zero self control that's their issue, not the games. Not to mention that this is nor a pure survival game. It's always been a mix of genres. TFP is making a BASE game meant to be modded upon. How is that so hard to understand? They've said it many times, for years. Their decisions are based on what the base game should contain. Everything asked for above is available thru modding. It is WORKING AS INTENDED. Period. End of story.

  7. I can't help it if a player has zero self control. Also, everything listed as a trader wishlist above is already available thru modding. The base game should be just that, the BASE. Much of the beauty of 7dtd is how easily moddable it is. That is intentional by TFP. Make the game what you want it to be in intended behavior. or don't and complain. Again, a choice each player needs to make for themselves.

You don't have to mine, you don't have to cut down trees, you don't have to farm, you don't have to hunt. You just need to find stuff and trade and if you can do that good enough, you can even skimp out on crafting anything.

Every single thing you listed there is a choice you make. You can also not buy everything from the trader. Choices are what makes this game so great.

Of course you are right, I shouldn't have used the bad "r..." word in that context. It's only useful to upset people around here.

The behaviour of shotguns in 7d2d is just as realistic as it is to live in the zombie apocalypse, carrying a self-constructed motorbike whilst climbing a ladder, not to forget the 6000m³ of wet concrete mix...amongst other things of course. 👍

Point is tho that you were using that "realistic" super wide spread of a shotgun to make your point. Using made up "facts" is not gonna help...

n fact shottys work quite realistic in that context: you fire in the general direction and you just hit everything.

That's not even close to correct or "realistic" as you say, Shotgun spread at 15 feet (across an avg room) is about 10 inches. 26 inches at 15 yds, that's 45 feet. If you want it gamey then sure, you hit everything across the room but don't even think about using the realism argument for that.

I think turning off collision between shovels and grass blocks would be an effective solution.  I don't foresee any negative side effects with this approach.

Oh god no. I tend to reach out to the sides as I am digging a shallow pit for clay and knock the grass down so I can see. Taking grass collision off the shovel means switching to a different tool to do so. If hitting grass with a shovel is such an issue for people they just need to aim a bit better... It's not hard to hit the dirt instead of the grass after all.

Building a new gaming PC mainly for the best experience of playing 7days to die. I think A20 is almost flawless. Do we have a rough estimate to when A21 will be released. I know the fun pimps motto is it is ready when it is ready which I totally agree with. But would like to know if it is the end of this year or sometime next year. I base all my game purchases around new version releases of 7DTD since this is the game I play 90% of the time. I know I will be grinding hard in Starfield which I hope does not conflict with the release of A21.

You're kidding right? They haven't even really started on it and you expect a rough timeline on completion? Go ask a psychic or astrologer, you'll get the same level of accuracy.

All the smaller maps have 2 deep canyons, but the 10k pregen has zero??? Why?!

Why would all three pregen maps have all the same features? They are not handcrafted maps after all. You do realize that right? They were just maps made using the same RWG tool that any other maps use. Devs included a few that they generated and decided were good enough to be playable so some people could either forego making their own or play on the same map as someone else. You're overthinking this if you're expecting all them to include the same things.
