I'll add on that I run a 3900x | 3080 | 64 GB DDR4 | 4 TB NVME and play locally as well as on a very robust server running 30GB ram for the server.  I'm not asking for the world, but running on stock medium settings with 3 other players, I was getting 15-20 FPS just a few days ago.

There's something seriously wrong with those numbers. No way that system should be running the game so poorly. My 3700x and 3060 rarely drops below 60 fps and that's on some pretty high settings. other than the fps killers like shadows and reflections being tuned down a bit. You got some fixin to do! This is at 1080p res.

Yes. So that's why i wrote there is at least 10 years to want for 7dtd.

You do realize that for a lot of that "10 year" time frame the team was only a few members and now it's roughly 50 and still growing right? In simple terms no, 7dtd2 would NOT take 10 years.

game was hardcore and TFP decided to make it casual. And mods won't solve this problem.

Lmao, that's so far from the truth it's comical. Have you even played an overhaul mod?

They will not start from zero, they will most likely start with 7D2D and just add features they didn't have time for to include in 7D2D."

Yes they've said they're probably going to make a 7dtd 2. But they've also said the next game is NOT 7dtd2. They're actually working on 3 different games atm.

Progress may be smoother depending on the regularity with which you find the appropriate magazines, but the order is now fixed. First comes the dew collector and last the crucible. Everything is always unlocked in exactly the same order.

That's the only issue I have with the change. I don't like it being so linear in unlocks. Maybe reading magazines could give you "points" to spend in whatever order you want within the "tree".

I still find the hybrid system the perfect answer as in UL.

It sucks lol but I know there will be an update but not soon enough there taking  there sweet ass time with this new update please fix MD 5 error

Not gonna happen - ever. The current console version is no longer updated. Period. The NEW and standalone console port will be done after the PC game is finished being developed. So if you have the current console version, live with it or don't play it. Those are your options.

Thank you, you are quick! Then I will have to try my best to get it to work on a MacBook Air M1 instead. *shudder

If what I'm reading is correct that's not gonna work well with the laptop only having 8gb of RAM.

They could have kept in wild planting (which I will repeat was an outstanding and thoroughly enjoyable nomadic system; with the hoe crafting and ability to fertilise the plots for better yield)

That was done because the new terrain system forced them to do away with planting in the soil directly. It was not a standalone decision. It was a result of another system changing.

Cause I thought the money came from the kickstarter that was supposed to fully fund this how many years ago?

Obviously you thought wrong. You really think the Kickstarter alone was supposed to fund the entire project? It's even in the name itself - "Starter" it allowed them to start the development process.

The whole point of early access is to grow the game WITH your player base.

That right there is your problem. That's absolutely wrong. The purpose of EA is to gain some CASH so that you can afford to make your game. It is NOT an invitation for the fans to make the game. You have unrealistic expectations.

  10. Lmao. I guess if that "Miracle Programmer" had simply fired up the game and read the credits they list 54 employees there...

    "

Also, I'm not sure where you found that TFP has over 50 employees, I checked around 10-15 business sites and they all list them currently as having "< 25 employees".

    Also, last thing..."

Thx for the reply. Actually no. Just got the push notification for the update and I went with it, then realized my older builds were inaccessible. Now I'm on 20.5.
Super annoying thing as well is that many times when I look or shoot at something I'll get extremely blinding flickering white spots.
Oh well, time to move on I guess. Thx again

Most likely 19.6 will run your 19.3 game save just fine. Did you try?

HD zombies if you have like a horde of 60 they will affect your pc 10x more than the original zombie model

That's wrong tho. The newer zombies actually use LESS resources despite looking better.

The carpenters table, the artisan and tailor ones could be removed as in real life you just bring the tools to a work bench and go at it.

So you drag logs onto your sewing table and cut them into planks do you? I think not. Same spot you cut boulders into blocks as well huh? Seems to me those 3 would be the last work areas to be combined. The first two wouldn't even be inside the base at all but outdoors on the ground around the base and even then I would not work stone in the same area I worked wood. The tools used for each do not mix at all. Not that I want Subquake to take realism that far.

  14. Reflections and shadows are resource hogs to the extreme. Turn down the reflection quality and shadows. LOD distance probably impacting you a bit also as well as SS reflections being at high and bloom on. Some of the most expensive options you have cranked up. Doesn't surprise me with a medium PC you're having issues. Start dropping things down a step at a time til you get a result you can live with would be my advice. Yes, 7dtd is much more CPU hungry than it is GPU, always has been.

if there would be during A10 more people that wanted zombie children they would probably add them because it was early stage of develpment. Now 7DTD is almost finished and it's almost too late for most things.

Being close to finished has absolutely zero to do with them not putting in zombie children. The fact that some countries would ban the game is the reason for that and they've said so many many many times.
