  1. god yes, please fix the weather. I hope that in Arizona , where this is alegedly based , it doesnt rain every day or even two or three times a day!
  2. i have a 5800X 8core 16 threads @4.35GHz. there are sometimes when all cores are pegged at 90%pluss... other parts of the generation 1 core at 100% is used and that core changes every 30 seconds or so... just did a 12K map i kind of like it but again i cant upload the jpg! i shrunk the image to 1000 pixels on max dimension but nope forum wont let me add it... error code 200 i give up.. i tried to up load the same image in a new post and this time it worked?? and it joined the two posts into one!! lol
  3. looks like the images have to be under 1000 pixels wide! so my first 16K map. not really a good map. it has some big cities but too far apart. need to find a balance with size and distance.... might try a 12K next.
  4. i made a 16K map 2 days ago on the latest Teragon so it does work. that being said with a few tweaks i have made and changing the errosion limits, rivers and widthadjustments it took over 5 hours to finish the map. 16K is a huge area ,the map was sparsely populated with the wilderness POI limit set to 450. i got some large cities ( i also increased the max size) . i tried to show a map but the damn forum wouldnt let me post it.... i have posted the previews of maps before so i have no idea what the issue is. i even shrunk the map to 25% still wouldnt load....
  5. this topic should be locked seeing as it isnt maintained and doesnt work with A21 , heck it didnt work with A20.... if you are going to create a custom height map then use it in Teragon. It is slightly harder to start to learn than kinggen but offers so much more flexability and is being actively developed .

  11. question was about road map. the other maps import ok. There is no information on the requirements for the splat3.png file. that is assuming the road map is named splat3.png
  12. make up a number. its not like they will ring it... or do they use it for 2 factor id? maybe there is a bug that Pilie needs to look at ? maybe drop him a PM?
  13. just started Teragon and it updated to 0.47 on the import road map it gives this information.. " If you already have a road map, you can import it with this command instead of creating a new road map. Road Map Name is the name of your final road map. File Name is the filename of the road map you want to import. It will look for this file in your world folder. Rotation is the rotation of the road map. TIP: To get the road map to be in the same direction as the original, this should be set to 180. Mirror Horizontally/Vertically will allow you to flip the road map horizontally or vertically if desired. TIP: To get the road map to be in the same direction as the original, you should Mirror Horizontally but not Vertically. NOTE: The road map needs to be in the World folder " the only reference to the file name is splat3.png and has to be in the world folder. The 180 deg rotation and the flip horizontally are already ticked in the default world.ini file.... no idea why your file doesnt work. have you tried asking for help on the discord server?
  14. sorry to state the obvious but there must be something amiss with the road map. is this the exact map used in A20? you said you scaled it down,have you tried at full size? maybe something in the scale down went wrong?loss of alpha chanel? not sure as i never did anything other than height maps with Teragon
  15. Is there a way to shorten or even just not play the .44 magnum reload animation? that spin at the end is totally unnecessary . I am not putting in one bullet and playing russian roulette! Is there already a mod for this?
  16. interesting, but thats just what i need more walls to stop me driving around... lol Does look interesting though... can you affect the width of these inverted crevices? some look a bit "Berlin wall"if you get my meaning... if you could get the crevices to alternate inverted,normal,inverted you could do some wicked iron age fort type earthworks.. look up Maiden Castle in the UK.....
  17. even with VOIP there are still recognisable phones on desks . or even headsets for call centers and helpdesks. there are no mobile phones lying around either even as props and unusable for scrapping. of course there are inconsistancies but this is a GAME . its not an appocolypse simulator. chill out go have a frothy with Jawoodle on his latest balcony watch the sun set and get ready for the next hoard..... im out of ammo and dont have time to notice most of this stuff in game....
  18. turns out i did the exact same thing as Paul. just checked that loop it has 3 define custom tag lines in it. i only disabled the craters line. when i checked the basic section it turns out i set craters to 0 there to.
  19. it was your world generator 2.ini in the default presets.
  20. i left the start loop and end loop commands enabled and just disabled the crevice command. it got stuck in the loop. when i went back and disabled the two loop commands it worked fine... this was from the advanced tab of course. how is this done?
  21. not a big fan of the crevice, disabled the crevice line and nearly 2 hrs later the map still hadent finished. seemed to be stuck. i had to disable the start loop and end loop lines as well. have run 4 or 5 maps with riamus preset. not bad maps. cant seem to get a full water border though like i was getting with previous builds. Is there a way to invert the biomes in the directional biomes map? I know is trivial but those of us from down under have the snow in the south and the desert in the north.. lol
  22. 0,0,0 X,Z,Y is the center of the map. west is negative number (X) and south is a negative number(Y) . height (Z) goes from 0 to 255 bedrock to build height limit. desert ground level is around 30 from what i can remember. when you hit M for the map it tells you your height as you dig it approches 0..lol
