Xenocyde
I have a Dedicated setup on a machine in Chicago, In a data center one I rent. Its is a 10700KF 3.80Ghz 64 gigs of ram dedicated 1 gig line. Windows 2022 Server Edition On the New A20 We started FROM this point no old saves and playing on top of them.https://imgur.com/a/523nKNQ https://imgur.com/4gCdRgI https://imgur.com/HG8qlfb Remote Side. I have had a server for roughly 5 weeks it was running fine till I and 3 others got above level 50 and the more Hordes that start spawning due to the higher difficulty, the more lag we get as it progresses. The server has never crashed or hung up my remote side of RDP, We have tried moving to a fresh spot away from our base and doing horde night there but it didn't seem to change the lag as more and more zombies start running at you. I showed you pictures up there to show you what I have running from the server, I'm new to 7d2d dedicated side. I have hosted ark servers and plenty of others with a lot of issues like Arma 3, But I'm a little lost on where to look next to correct the lag. I have pretty much Vanilla setup I don't know where to check in logs to go about changing settings to improve on! Any guidance to walk me thru maybe if I'm doing something wrong? Client Side. My Current system is running roughly 70 to 80 FPS when we aren't on horde night, it is all 3 of us that lag together and the other 2 fellas have way better systems client wise than I do. I don't have any crash logs to give cuz it has never crashed, So I'm just asking to treat me like dummy atm. Maybe I'm missing something! Beelzybub
Do you have electric traps, turrets, fences, etc. at your horde base?

Jugginator
Question is, is that machine sole dedicated to you or is it shared by other customers? I would check the logs during the lags, and see if you have any warning/errors popping up a lot.
Xenocyde
It is mine, the other server on it is mine only other thing on it (Assuming you saw valhalla running too thats mine also)... No other users. Its not a panel server (Web Gui Access like TCadmin) I rent the entire server. Its not a VM either, Direct hardware access. I had to install my own OS thru KVM/IPMI, Was barebone when rented. Which logs and/or locations of the logs that would give me that info I see some logs but they dont look anything like what I need. Xenocyde
Ok, So we just did another horde night and I wasn't stating I was running a RAT for the server install and managing, The Tool I've been using versa a bat file to start and manage server came with a webserver for remote access of console and the live map func for the server... I disabled the web server when I posted this today, and this last horde we had no lag from it... I think the Third party tool I'm using and the webserver built into it was the cause of my lag FYI. I didn't really think that the program would be causing it but ever since i disabled the webserver part and removed tool and used a bat file it is running fine now! I hope this helps anyone using the RAT7d2d Tool. Please be aware. I'm guess the webserver was spamming logging or something I'm gonna test and find out and repost maybe it will help someone in the future! THANK you guys for the Reponses! Love the game Devs Please always update ❤️ All love here be safe kill some zombies.
