Bug report, specific area make the game crash

Hi,

 

I have a server (IP: 176.57.174.16:27030) where i was building a base.

The game freese with "unitycrashhandler64" process open and i was unable to reconnect without crashing instantly.

I try to reinstall, same issue

I delete my save on the server and when i'm approching the area of the base the game crash again.

I ask a friend to try, same issue... (we dont have the same  pc)

I try to force dx10, same issue...

I try to turn off every grafics options, same issue...

I loose more than 60 hours on this base and i try to know what happened before to try another game.

 

Do you have a idea ?

Not without seeing your log. Post it here using pastebin. A wild bet would be that chunk is corrupted and the fix would be to delete that region and let the game reload it but you’d lose all changes including your base so posting your logs would be the best bet so we know what’s causing your problem.

for this type of issue, it is best to start here and if the guys/girls here feel its a bug they will tell you to post it in the bug report using the proper format as noted in the blue banner link at top of forum.

either way please read the link and provide the people here with more info and output logs.

i agree with star as this just sounds like a corrupted region maybe. but give up some info so they can help.
