Another possible factor: He followed me up a ladder and I couldn't move. He was right in my face. I'll try to find the log. Yes, I have picked him up at other times with things in his inventory.

 

I play dedicated server. Should I be looking there or on the client? Also, there are a number of logs in  7 Days to Die Dedicated Server\logs.

Hi there! I just have a quick question. I'm not sure if I asked this, but the NPC XP amount when I open their inventory, is a lot to me; like 1900 or something. I level fast just by doing that. I tend to open quite a bit. Is there an edit for that? I presume it's in one of the NPC folders. Any easy step instructions would be nice!

In testing I get 3xp each time I open the Hired NPC backpack.  Not sure where this is coming from yet.

Tried loading the Darks mods and got some odd messages (shown in bold). I've pulled them for the time being.

You can't have both of those mods loaded together... at least not without some heavy modifications.
They are a "pick one or the other" kind of mod because they use the same assets.

Um, sorry forgot to mention, but I am still running old A 20.7 version which is an older version of the mod. Hopefully you can help. If it's too old of a mod pack to remember, I understand. I can just browse the folders and files. Let me know whenever

Added link to a new expansion pack, DarkStar's Preppers.   Lots of custom work in this pack, enjoy.

Just tried DarkStar's Preppers, it's just great, finally an NPC with their own sounds, "history" and more interesting hiring fees, 10 out of 10, I wish there were more NPCs like this!

Hi xyth, thanks for reaching back, and is this correct? What I'm understanding from you is that this modding for changing the xp of opening the NPC inventory, is in mods/blob/main/0-SCore?

I haven't been on my laptop recently, but I'll be able to take a look today/tonight.

 

Also, would I have to change what I changed on my other users' laptop(s), or would their data change to my edited change when joining my world?

Erm, I just looked at where 0-SCore  is at, but there is no "blob/main". 

Mine shows Mods/0-SCore/(then either: Caves, Config, Documentation, Harmony, Licenses, Prefabs, Properties, Resources, Scripts, UIAtlases) for a folder. Which one of these? Remember: I'm still running Alpha 20.7 Stable.

As I stated, at this point we do not know where the exp is coming from when opening NPC backpacks.  On any version.

Pushed 1.0.3 of the NPCCore.

Add 1-Mechpack, needs testing

 

Changes:

Harley Ranged versions and Mechs now use `<property name="Class" value="EntityNPCBandit, SCore" /> ` , a new class that likely will replace the EntityEnemySDX class..

Fixed Soundtime values to remove decimals that threw warnings in log.
Fixed gamestages.xml
Made ranged entities miss more often at longer ranges (more degrees of H and V variance)
UAI edits, tuning for ranged bandits and mechs
Added dependency mod checks, message added to menu screen at bottom if a dependency is missing
Added a chance of a knockdown when NPC ranged weapon Melee is used, heavier weapons have more chance.

Ah, sorry about that. Didn't know if you meant for your new Alpha 21/22 version or any version. Didn't really clarify that. I understand now. If you find it, you can let anyone know. I'm sure some, most, or everyone here on discussion might be wondering too somewhat.

Here is an updated addition for the NPC Mod for V1.0.

This expansion pack is dependent on having Xyth's 1-NPCXSpiderPack Add On folder in your Mods folder.

 

Features:

Just to note as well, I was getting a few red errors with other zombies spawning when I had this installed.
