I can confirm this totally helps. I was lagging down to 15 to 19 fps while in a city/town. I simply turned dynamic mesh off, put mesh distance at 500 (not sure if that mattered since I hit disable) and I was back into 32 to 40 fps...back in the green baby!! That's the best I get so I'm happy.

I did once. Although this was on the PS4 version so alpha 15 ish. I actually forgot I was infected & by the time I noticed it, how the hell I didn't notice it is beyond me, I was at like 95%. In that version, once you hit 100%, you just keel over & die. And yes, I felt like a complete jackass..

Man this Alpha rocks, worth the wait. I died on day F'ing one, mid day at that, in that stupid post office/supply store or whatever it is connected to it. Decided to raid it on my way to a quest & in the main room met like 8 zombies. Good times!! I did notice I got a few multiple hit shots with my tier 1 wooden club on power attacks. (Earlier posts people were getting this with the pipe baton as well). I don't remember this being a thing in A19 but I could be wrong.

I do like the new model but I agree, the one we have currently is pretty sweet. He did need an upgrade though. This model you did does look awesome too. Looks like Venom made sweet sweet love to a Licker from Resident Evil & this was their spawn, lol. Love it man!

I personally like the zombie mods. Love the variations of clothes....& The topless zombies 🤤 Some of the creations by guppy & bdub, I believe, are very creative too. I hope the pimps integrate this at some point. Even just having different clothes on the same zombies adds so much variety.

Very good points & ideas. I do always play with loot respawn off so that adds a little bit of urgency to hold onto stuff. I also liked the "lose quality on each repair" of older alphas. I guess a way we could do this ourselves would be to limit the amount of times we could repair an item. To keep track of this, Everytime an item is repaired, remove a mod. It "lost the ability to function with said mod." Then upon last repair, you would simply be forced to scrap the item as it's now considered broken. I may try this......

I just thought of a possibly neat little addition for the air drops. If you hear a helicopter, that could mean possible weapons & ammo & the standard airplane could mean meds & food. Also a question regarding airdrops...do they ever despawn? I've never tested this as when I do play with them on, mostly I turn airdrops off or make them every 7 days, my ocd kicks in & I have to go get the airdrop right away or mark it as a quick waypoint to get the 1st thing next day.

Just please....for all that is holy.....make sure you have plenty of antibiotics on you!!! Oh and make sure it's the blue & white pill....don't think the green pill or honey will do here!

I did this as well however since I started on the PS4 version which was Alpha 14.7, we had no traders. While I will agree they definitely need to be nerfed in some way, limited money to buy player good, nerfed priced, etc, I love the traders. Gave the world a little more life & options as far as gameplay. Now once we get bandits in, will once again change life in Navezgane!

Anyone follow Guns, Nerds, & Steel's videos? He is ending his "The Road" series somewhat abruptly. Maybe a good sign of "things to come". He's mentioned he will be part of the Alpha 20 streamer weekend. He has pretty good content if anyone is unfamiliar with him. I recommend checking him out.

I do have a request/suggestion. I like to play random horde nights. Is there any way there could be an option to turn off the blood moon warning? Currently the options are morning (noon) and evening (1800). I would like the option to just turn it off & only know it's a blood moon by the red sky & crackling of thunder. Would be a cool "oh sh*t, I better get my ass home & prepare" kinda thing.

I've been contemplating my 1st go at A20 as well. My comfortable go to is usually strength, especially early game, but I'd like to switch it up some. Maybe with the addition of the pipe weapons, may make it easier to start in intellect or agility 1st? Then again, It'll feel as if I'm cheating on my lover to go outside my comfort zone.....ah decisions....
