    @BloodDeacon- See you get it. Modding isn't necessarily about doing anything its just making the player think you did lol. Your right renaming them might help some of the confusion. I'll have to think on it.

    @xyth- You said " I built those and burned them in the campfire and still am only L30 in wood at Level 20, but I'm L58 in Iron in just a few nights." How are you leveling Iron Working? You can make Cobblestone Frames at Wood Working lv20 to help level your Wood Working and by making Cobblestone Frames you can be prepared for when you hit Lv55 in Wood Working and then start pumping out Cobblestones to upgrade all the Frames you made. So you dont have to wait till Wood Working lv 55 to start building a stone base Also ya'll do know you can upgrade blocks to better material before you can unlock building the frames right. So when you learn Wood Frames you can build and upgrade them all the way to Steel Walls if you have the upgrade material. The only thing the frames do is let you skip a lot of upgrade material cost.

    @xyth- The point of the Material Tech Progression is to use, craft and build with each material for a while before moving on to the next stage. Cobblestone requires Wood working lv 55 so if you want to really level Stone working you have to get to Wood Working to Lv55 first. If you want to really level Iron Working you need to get to Stone Working Lv 65 first. Trying to skip stages will not be fun. Also fyi Arrows, Corssbolts, Stone Axe, Stone Shovel, Cobblestones, Cement, Concrete Mix, Bricks, Concrete all level stone working but building something with cobblestone is the lest grindy way to get it done. @Xamllew- Ya waiting on SDX to do any of that

    @xyth- You cant put a requirement on a Action/Crafting Skill so I have to lock the Perks(recipes). The Mods Material progression goes Wood does not hurt Stone,Stone does not hurt Iron and Iron does not hurt Steel. Payers first learn to craft wood items then stone then iron then steel. Even human history went Wood>Stone>Iron>Steel. So i don't see why changing that would make any since.

    @Jaertof- Glad your liking it. In True Survival Mini Bikes are not end game items. Whats the point of waiting to have transportation until you don't need it any more. Also in a scenario like this(end of the world) there would be plenty of vehicles around to jump into but since we cant do that and I cant make mini bikes spawn in world and function I make the bikes easy to find in loot. So don't think of it as finding a Mini Bike in loot think of it more like you found a working vehicle with a tank of gas in it. The looting instant bug is a game bug I'm pretty sure Upgrade Cobblestone frames with Cobblestones in your hand same with Cement Mix and Rebar

    Thanks for all your feedback Unlike Them I don’t think I can add the Keep What you Make system to all the shapes. It’s much more complicated than it looks and takes a lot of blocks to accomplish. I want to do the Ramps but I don’t think I have the empty block id's to do all the shapes. Also I’m not looking to invest too much time into anything to do with blocks until A16. If you want some special block added to the Mod recipes please give me the Block id# and the name from the cheat menu. If the normal Zombie loot is any good people will never leave their bases and just sit and let loot come to them. Zombies are not walking loot chest they are undead monsters that want to eat your face. I don’t know what to tell you about the heal bug. No one else has had anything like that happen. Maybe a screen shot with the buff icon name and decryption so I can see what’s on you Need the block id# on the railing you’re talking about If you make Engineers Tools better than Steel tools, everyone would pick Engineers. They hit harder, use less Stamina and have more durability what’s not to like. Shovels are not weapons and you can’t swing it like a bat If you want to scrap your tool do it before it breaks No I was thinking about removing the name and keeping the Icon and timer No plans on bringing the hygiene system back. Why? Did you like it? What do you mean clarify? I think I’m going to make a special tool that will be able to move workbenches. Thanks! (keep it on the ground)

    No I don't. I do know I have only seen it in rented server config files. And I do know it works, its on the Official Server. Im not sure how to get it to work in SP. I guess TFP forgot to put the toggle in the Game Setting Ui but it really is a needed thing for starting out.

    Ok when ever SDX comes out and I have to break saves I will be removing the Weapon Crafting Skill and put the weapons in their proper material tech(Wood/Stone/Iron/Steel). This should help with Material Tech progression and eliminate the need to craft weapons you don't need. Looking for thoughts on a better Medical Skill System. Right now crafting and using Meds raises your Medicine Skill. But the better player you are the more difficult leveling this skill becomes because if your not getting hurt your not using Meds and I don't like requiring a player to craft(grind) un needed items. So thoughts on ways to make this better? Another thing. Weapon reach. I tweaked this a while ago and I'm looking for feed back on it. If you want to leave your thoughts on it please make sure to tell me if you are playing SP or on a server because online play requires just a little more reach than SP because of lag. I'm thinking all melee weapons need to be shortened by maybe -0.2 but I want to see what others think first. Also I am thinking the melee weapons need more of a difference between them. Right now all Blunt weapons have the same bonus Zombie head damage -200hp and all Blades have the same bonus zombie head damage -400hp. Im thinking this needs to be a bit more complicated. Like have the Wooden Club have a bonus of -100hp and the Iron Club have -200hp and the Spike Club have -300hp and so on and so on.Then do the same with Bladed Weapons. This will at lest make improving the type of weapon your using make more of a difference than now.

    @Oragepoilu- Yes I really don't understand the buff system maybe you could make me a tutorial so I can figure it out.*sarcasm off* But anyways. I do see a error in it though it should be -debuffif="stuffed lequal 79"-. Other than that its working as intended. @ dinusocol- Thanks. I'm not a server expert. I just rent one when I need one. Installation is the same for servers as players. Players will still need the mod installed to play on the server. @xyth Thanks glad your liking it. I just added Suggested Game Settings in the Installation/Settings file that comes with the mod. The safe zone is a game setting. It has nothing to do with the Mod or vanilla. Its just a setting and time period you select before starting the game. Does Snowberry Poisoning normally have a timer? I think its a hidden buff so you wouldn't get a timer on it, I can look into but i haven't tinkered with it. Are you trying to mine iron with a Stone Axe? Just an FYI if you haven't figured it out. -Wood does not hurt Stone>Stone does not hurt Iron>Iron does not hurt Steel-. Early game to get iron break stuff, like office chairs school desk and metal Chairs. Also once you get a wrench you're good. Use it on Stoves,Sinks,Refrigerators,Cars,Toilets, Desk just about anything metal and you will have plenty of Scrap Iron. I have been thinking of adding a tool that will move Work Stations but it wont be Wrench or something in game now. You don't want someone breaking into your base and picking up all your work stations.

    Ya True Survival does not support a 90min day. Increasing the day time lowers the difficulty of the game. True Survival is designed to be set at 50-60min days. There are a few post about suggested server settings in this thread but I could include the suggested game settings in the Instruction Read Me file that comes with the mod. I said it last an hour because you lose 2 overstuffed stacks per game hour. So if you trigger it then the shortest time you will have it is 1/2 a game hour. If you eat way to much then you pay the price. No debuff limit. The point is to not game the wellness system. No comfort will be given to exploiters.

    I just wanted to mention this. I have been updating True Survival for almost 2 years now. I think I started in Alpha 9 or 10. I say this because as a Modder once I put something in and it works I usually don’t come back to it unless I get a bug report saying somethings wrong with it. So some modded features were coded nearly 2 years ago with Alpha 9 code. And with each new feature TFP add it can completely change how a modded feature works. The reason I say all this is because sometimes I think players see something strange in the mod and just assume I did it that way on purpose when really it was coded a year ago for A12 and I completely forgot it’s even in there. So if you see something that doesn’t make since with the rest of the mod please speak up. Most of the cool features in the mod were suggestions by players. So if you enjoy a challenging game and are having fun playing the mod please don’t be afraid to share your opinion and suggestions on how to make it better. I may do the work but good player input is what makes it an enjoyable mod to play. - - - Updated - - - @ElderRider- Sorry I dont know why that link wont work. Heres a copy paste from where it takes you- No this is from the detailed buff information in the new SMX UI . It is harmless and TFP have been notified. It only happens on servers and you can windows out the game and close it to get around the error. I like the detailed buffs so i didnt change it, to me its worth the 2 extra clicks to leave the game. Im hoping this gets fixed and if not it will only neffect servers and if it becomes a problem I might change it.

    (Coulda just posted your opinion and this suggestion and save people 5 min of their life) I have not even gotten the overeating buff yet. I can barley feed my self let alone get stuffed. You need to eat 8.2 wellness in less than 1 game hour to get the Stuffed Buff and then it will only last for one game hour before it wears off. When you say you were freezing do you mean you had hypothermia? You say you were eating Charred Meat. Charred meat does +9Food +.5Wellness. That means to get a Overstuffed deBuff you would need to eat 17 Charred Meats in less than one game hour. Thats +153 food. Thats more than being full. Sounds to me if you did that you should have a overeating buff and its working exactly as intended you little piggy.

This changes how our Gun Smithing works greatly. Where before we found crap parts and improved them to level Gun Smithing now we will need to find better parts and repair (lower the quality) to level Gun Smithing. So I have increased the quality range on all Gun Part drops from (1-50) to (1-350). With perks that make the highest quality drop possible a quality 500. So the player will need to use the Combine to get quality 600 parts/guns. Did a pass through what the Traders can sell. I think we will use the Trades like the place you can go if you are having ♥♥♥♥ luck on a drop you need. It will be expensive but if you can’t find it anywhere you should be able to get it at a trader. I will need help setting prices so and suggestions on item prices are welcome.

    @Oragepoilu- Well the spear is a much better zombie killing tool than a bat. Really a decent spear should kill a Zombie in one hit to the head. I would call a Spear that takes 3 or more head shots to kill a zombie more of a dull stick. lol I have been playing with the Spear myself and it is kinda OP a little. Last patch I tweaked it some but I think I need to greatly reduce the durability so you only get a few zombie kills before it needs repairs until its much higher quality. Im not going to ignore your questions I just wanted to know if this was from playing or just reading the code. The melee in the mod is pretty good i think. Way better than vanilla i know that. And how your talking about it made me think you haven't actually tried it . Its no easy task to hit some of these zombies. They have all walk variants so its not like vanilla, all their heads are moving different and at different speeds and hitting them anywhere but that small head hit box doesn't even tickle them. I'm all open to a suggestion on how to have a head shot only mod that only effects zombies and doesn't hurt performance. If you got one let me hear it. @ElderRider- No looks like they removed the texture they had in for Copper Ore. I'll have to change that recipe. Open to suggestions

That's what i mean by remove the whole perk/level up system, beside maybe durability (meh)." That's not true. The slandered Zombie in my Mod has 1000hp some have 15K-20K hp. The Blunt Weapon damage buff for a zombie head shot does -200hp. So that's at lest 5 hits with out taking into account the damage of the weapon. With a high quality melee weapon this can be gotten down to about 2 or 3 hits, less if it crits. So I still don't understand how this is removing Skill/Perks. If you were to purchase Knife or Blunt weapon damage perks I'm sure you could be one shotting Zombies. And far as the stacking of those Zombie Head Shot buffs what other choice is there? If I make them discard a player hitting a zombie in the head frantically might not get any bonus damage and might be killed by the zombie when the Zombie should have died. Id rather give the player hitting a zombie 3 times an extra tick then denie the struggling player trying to fight for his life the needed bonus damage to kill a Zombie. "The change sound good when I read it, but I'm not playing this much (just looking a bit around for now) so I can't talk much about it." So you don't even play the Mod?

    Ya the more I think of it the more this sounds like a good idea. Once the player gets guns their weapon crafting skill is pretty useless so unless someone can think of a good reason not to do it I'll make this change when SDX is out and save games will need to be broken anyways. (don't panic this is not happening now your save is safe)

    Thought- What do ya'll think about removing the Weapon Crafting Skill and putting all the weapons in their material group. So Bows and Wooden Club would be Wood Working, Iron Club and Spears would be Iron Working and so on. I think this might make more sense and help with leveling through the material stages(Wood>Stone>Iron>Steel)

    @BloodDeacon- Thanks. No I can only control how many spawn per player group. @Oragepoilu- Well I used the bonus head damage for 2 years as the method for the Zombies Head Shots only. But that way destroys any chance at any PVP. With that system a player can walk up to any player and hit them once with a level 1 bone shiv and one shot them no matter their health. I have not noticed not getting credit for zombie kills. My kill counter goes up every time I kill one. Also quality still comes into play for melee, a good quality weapon will take one or two less hits than a low quality melee weapon. The buff is working properly, it only ticks once just like I want. And I really like the half of second delay on the Zombies death it gives them a bit more time for their death animation so they stumble around as they are dieing. I like it, looks more real to me. I don't understand how I have removed the Prek/Skill system from combat please explain.
