    make sure you are installing the full mod on the server and not just the client pack. Client pack is for players.

    So far I have merged about 20 SDX mods into True Survival. They still need balancing and setting up but they are all in and usable. Im thinking of starting the server back up so we can test this junk out in MP. Any takers?

    If you log in and you do not have a "Start Here" item and a "Key" then its not installed properly.

    @unlike them Always so detailed. I like it. The instant spawn behind you is a vanilla bug. It been happening to MM in his videos so maybe they will finally admit that its a f%ed up system in a survival game. I was hoping the new zombie spawns in A15 where they spawn in the world laying on the ground before they stand would help fix this but from the recent test videos it looks like they took that feature out so i don't know. Maybe I can mod it back in we will have to wait and see. The infection can only happen when a zombie bites you. A zombie can only bite you if they have grabbed you. So if you are not getting grabbed a lot then your not going to get infected. Enjoy it while it last soon infection will have no cure till you finish a super long story quest and all the pills you find in loot will only push the Z Virus back one stage. Have you updated your mod files recently? That 44 Ammo thing should be fixed. Let me know if you update and it still not working. First I herd of the cooking book I'll look into it I lowered the scrap on the Blunderbuss but I don't think it goes any lower. I think ill just make the blunder buss ammo craft into gunpowder and not scrap. Gun Oil is meant to be only a Cop thing. You can find Upgrade kits in loot and farm them off harder zombies. Or you could find 20 Profession Pages and learn the Cop Profession Alternators should scrap. But into what iron or copper scrap? As for the A15 suggestion what you ask can not be done with just xml changes. But I am looking into adding some SDX mods so its something I'll check on. 1)The only difference in crossbows would be quality. They are all the same but for the attachments effects. 2)No they do not take radiation damage from Radiated Soil. *Note* When walking on a trap only the legs are effected by it and legs damage does not count toward killing the Zombie. Only the Fire and Shock traps can damage/kill a standing Zombie. But some Zombies cant catch fire!

  7. Ok Sphereii Im about ready to try and make my mod into a SDX mod and add some SDX toys with it. Now I read through and watched the tutorials on SDX but other than that I have never touched it. What would be the best way to convert my mod into a SDX mod for the solo purpose of pushing it out through your launcher. Do I need to make a Config File with all my changes or can i make my mod the base game SDX works off? Could you tell me what would be the best/easiest way to convert it?

    Well if you figured out how to undo it in Vals the its the same with mine. Only difference in the 2 is that my loot containers are the dead zombie blocks and he uses a backpack. So you should be able to do it just like you did Vals.

    That is my version of the bag drop mod. It is there for 3 reasons. #1 You can loot everything you kill unlike vanilla(cant do that with dead zombie bodies) #2 It helps with FPS(blocks take less work than dead zombie bodys) #3 Increases active zombie count(dead zombie bodies count toward max zombie count) I would not recommend removing it and its not that easy to undo. You would have to go and assign all the zombies loot groups and fix their drop on death code. What is the problem with it? Why dont you like it? I have never had someone not like that usually its the one everyone loves the most.

    @orumaeiman- No Problem. Yes I have thought of this before. I have suggested in the past to remove the bed respawn so players can not do what you speak of. I was told that would be to hard for new players . Maybe when I get into SDX I can find a better solution. But if you want a quick fix remove the recipe for Sleeping Bags fro your game. @unlike them- Wow thanks for the feed back. I'll try and run through these quick. The Auto Crossbow is the Farmers end game weapon. I could make it with a scope. Aloe growth stages are being put in vanilla in A15 so this will fix its self. Farming is like it is because it was the only way I could find to make Crop Trampling work. Maybe I can find something better with SDX Yes the Mod needs all the Food and water loot lowered. The Cacti will drop different amounts of fruit also. The small one will drop 1 fruit the middle one will drop 2 and the large cacti will drop 3. The Zombie Bear has vanilla stats I think. But they are the most dangerous, they hit the hardest and run as fast as a Feral(not as fast as a player) Yes they changed the explosive code in one of the A14 patches and now I can not adjust them. So I think they are all the same. Makes me mad too I spent a few hours tweaking all the mines and rockets just right. They are changing them again in A15 so Im waiting to see if they give more control back. Yes I plan on changing the dropped backpack code. I have not tested it yet but I am going to try and make it turn into a loot container like it used to after the timer runs out. I have been doing this a while now and the one things that pisses me off the most is spending 10-20 hours modding, implementing and testing something just for it to be obsolete in the next update. I was working on new rwg but then TFP decided they would be tweaking it in A15 so I started on Food then they decided to do some changes there so I moved to Modular Armor then they say they are adding a bunch more clothes. A15 started as Raiders and NPC's now it seems its more RWG and Prefabs so i don't know whats safe to work on without wasting my time. So for now until I can be more sure about whats getting changed in A15 Im putting off implementing anything else until A15. Ill still do bug fixes and tweaks but no new stuff until A15, I just don't want to have to do the same work twice. I will still be planing it all out. I find it much easier to implement all the changes after they have been thoroughly thought out. Thanks for posting your feed back

    @sphereii- Second question would be can you password the download? When A15 drops Ill start updating the mod and use my server for testing. I do not release my mod to the public until its finished and updated with all the new stuff. So if I made another download for TrueSurvivalA15WIP could I restrict who can download it? Maybe by a password that I can give out to my testers?

    OK we will be moving to the new 7D2D Mod Launcher. I will be doing the work next week when I get time. I will remove the Mod download from Envul and the only way to get it will be through the launcher. Also I will be investigating SDX to see if I want to add anything. The 1st thing I will try and integrate is the SDX Mod Hal made for me, Zombies run in the dark, any dark. So if its day time and you walk into a building as soon as the zombies get into the shade they will start running(like the zombies from I am Legend). If any one else knows of any cool SDX mods I should look into post them with a link if possible and I will check them out.

    Suggested Game settings Loot - 100% Loot Respawn 80-100 days Day - 60 min No Feral setting Zombie Run - Walk/Run Drop on death - All Enemy Memory - 90 Enemy Spawn - As high as your server can handle Air Drop - 720 hrs Difficulty - 3 (mod was designed on "3" so changing this will change weapon balance and zombie balance. You can up it but it will take longer to kill Zombies and your weapons will do less damage)

    @Xamllew The first mod I played was "Better Than Giant Bees". To be honest if he never made his mod i would have never made mine. I used his mod to learn to mod. He commented out every line he changed, it was so helpful in learning how the xml's worked. I tried to do that also but eventually it just got to be to many changes and too much work to keep all the comments updated. And if you traced this mod way way way back it started as his mod and I have been adding and changing things ever since to make the game more challenging. @sphereil I am going to try to set my mod up to run off your program. I'll let you know if i need any help getting it going.

Also what do y'all think about starting to use this new tool a player made https://7daystodie.com/forums/showthread.php?48537-The-7D2D-Mod-Launcher-A-Mod-Launcher-for-7-Days-to-Die Its pretty much like Steam Workshop where you pick what mods you want from a list and then every time you start 7D2D it auto updates your mod list for you so you always have the right files and it is always installed correctly. You can switch back and forth between modded and vanilla with a click. And it will work with ......... SDX!!! One of the main reason I have not touched SDX is because its more complex to install and run and all that crap but with this any player could have everything in one button click and always installed correctly and up to date. Would the players of my True Survival mod be interested in using this?

    No most of the game xml files are pushed from the server/host out to the players. With the new xml files (descriptions and skills/perks) someone forgot to set them up to be pushed out. They did this before with new xml files. They always seem to forget anything to do with mp or modding but i would guess it will probably be fixed in A15 then players might only need icon folder again.

    The Client pack is just the files a player needs to play on a True Survival game. If its on a server the server gets the full mod and players get client packs. If your doing coop the player that is hosting the game needs the full mod and any player that joins needs client pack. A person can use the full mod instead of a client pack with no problem, the client pack is just 4 files from the full mod(the files that the servers do not push out) and the icons. The reason i have a client pack and not just a one size fits all is because some players do not like installing things so i try to make it as small a download and install as possible. If you only play my mod i would just install the full thing. If you like to play on other servers with other mods the client pack is easier for people to switch out.

    @ Hirilus- I assume by "a" mod you mean this mod. If when you start you do not have a "Start Here" item then you did not install the mod correctly. Make sure if you are playing a SP game you install the whole mod and not just the Client Pack. The Client Pack is for a player playing on a MP server.

    @Cotterjoe- What ammo cant you make? All ammo is unlocked in my mod, everyone can craft all ammo from the start(except Rocket Launcher and Doctors Shots). Now you do need to buy the recipes to make the bullet parts like casing and bullets tips you do that in the Skill/Perk screen. The Chicken Coop uses 1 Water and 15 Corn to make 24 feathers in 90 min(real time) or 3 Eggs in 90min(real time). So if your running 60 min days that means almost everyday you can harvest feathers or eggs from you Hen and if you have more than one it starts to add up. This seems reasonable to me what would you suggest changing it to? Also I think you must be running an older version of True Survival the Eng tools have been fixed along with a few other things. Try updating your True Survival to the newest. It should not bother your save game to do so. @Akrux Iron Bars recipe is found in a Skill Book in T3 Loot so Ferals and Steel Ammo Crates its called, are you ready, the "Iron Bars Book" tada! lol
