    @naterz98- Funny you should say that. It comes with SMX UI Mod. It plays well on a MP Server but also in small groups. SP is doable but its more like your the last man alive on earth so its not the easiest thing but a lot of players play this mod that way and play only one life and they like it. So to each their own. The next version will be more geared to Coop and SP but still be fine on MP. From my survey that appears to be what most TS players are playing. @wolverine576- Thanks for the words. One small correction. The current True Survival out for download right now does not have any SDX stuff. Thats what I'm working on now and will be with the next release. Still few weeks off like 2-3 or 4 lol. The next release I'm trying to put a good spit shine on before I release it so do not anticipate a forced wipe anytime soon. Enjoy your game.

    Ok got the professions coded in. Just need to do the percentages for the stat increases. These will be bonuses for the Profession. So if you have a bonus stat of +10% Run Speed then your players new run speed is 110% everyone else and if you break your leg and your friend breaks his leg you will still be 10% faster than him.     2 Hints to help stop UI lag. 1) Never search for items in crafting, always click on an item and hit recipes to find crafting items. 2)Never go in to the Player Stats Screen in combat(lags bad)

    Need opinions to help set up and balance the new professions. I intend for Professions to not be as powerful as they are now but more specialized. We have four options for balancing. 1-A Profession can start the player with changed stats, either increasing them or decreasing them. The adjustable stats are- Treasure Radius, Breath Hold Duration, Count, Crafting Time, Crafting Quality, Crafting Output Count, Repair Time, Repair Amount, Repair Quality Loss, Entity Damage, Block Damage, Ranged Falloff, Reload Speed, Armor Defense, Max Health, Max Stamina, Max Hunger, Max Thirst, Min Wellness, Max Wellness, Wellness Gain, Wellness Reduction, Health Gain, Stamina Gain, Thirst Degradation, Health Degradation, Stamina Degradation, Max Speed, Walk Speed, Run Speed, Loot Time, Loot Quality, Harvest Count, Crouch Speed, Noise e, Smell, Hunger Degradation, Dismemberment Chance, Dismemberment Bonus, Bartering, Secret Stash 2-A Profession can start knowing locked recipes 3-A Profession can start with adjusted skills like a Doctor could start with +5 Medicine. The adjustable skills are- Hunting, Heavy Guns, Blunt Weapons, Blade Weapons, Pistols, Shotguns, Rifles, Archery, Light Armor, Heavy Armor, Gun Smiting, Engineering, Tailoring, Leatherworking, Armor Smiting, Primitive Crafting, Journeyman Crafting, Master Craftsman, Miscellaneous Crafting. 4-All Professions will start with a set of Tattered Cloths. Each will also start with a special item that relates to their profession. Such as the Cop starting with an “Old Pistol” that only shoots 9mm and cannot be repaired or the Doctor starting with a bottle of Pain Killers. Each Profession does not require skills/items from each option. Only the starting special item is going to be required for each. So a Profession can have a bunch of stat increases but no recipes or a bunch of recipes and no stat increase. Here is the new Profession list- Farmer, Fisherman, Chef, Cop, Soldier, Chemist, Doctor, Fitness Instructor, Fireman, Construction Worker, Carpenter, Electrician, Metal Worker, Burglar, Park Ranger. Don’t be shy I want to hear your ideas just don’t get upset if they don’t get all used.

    @unlike them- You would still be specializing in what you spent time leveling in but with it this way you could pick what you wanted to level instead of what was required to get what you wanted. Yes Primitive and Medicine will have the same xp amounts. But Primitive Crafting will not be needed much in mid to late game. It will be Club, Bows, Stone Tools, Wood, Cobble, Redwood Blocks stuff like that. With Primitive Crafting having more items to craft it will be a quicker easier task to level also each Tech Skill will have a Tool that will upgrade its blocks and lower tech blocks but not higher tech level blocks. Each Tool will give XP towards that Tech Skill. So the Hammer will upgrade wood to Metal Reinforced Wood Blocks but not to Scrap Iron Blocks. Using the hammer will give Primitive Crafting XP not Engineering. This will be done for each so Journeyman Crafting will use the Wrench and it will upgrade all Primitive Crafting Blocks and all Journeyman Crafting Blocks but not be able to upgrade to Steel, it will give Journeyman XP. With Medicine not having as many things to craft it will be something you spend all game leveling.

    Thought about some of ya'lls comments about the gating of the Tech Skills. Though its not my play style I understand what your saying. So how about we do the gating like this Journeyman Crafting starting recipes require Player level 30 Mastercraftsman Crafting starting recipes require Player level 75 Player Max Level is 200 fyi That would still require playing the game but not require grinding of things your don't want.

    Ok last time I'm typing this. "Overstuffed Buff" The mod has suggested settings that it is designed to be player on. If you are playing on different settings than what are suggested then i can not guarantee that the all the mod features will function properly.Reporting these "bugs" will just add to confusing because they only exist because you want to use the mod in a way it is not meant to be used. Playing the game at 120min days decreases the difficulty of the game GREATLY and because of this True Survival does not support that setting. By using this game setting you mess up the timing on some of the buffs that work off game time(you are doubling the time) like the Overstuffed Buff. True Survival is designed to be played at 50-75 min days, if played as suggested all buffs work properly. "Error on close" When playing on a MP server you need to force the game closed. This is not because of anything I have done. This is because of the SMX UI Mod we use and the Buff name and time being shown on the main screen. This error only effects MP server players and causes no harm. Just window out and force the game closed when ready to exit the Mod on a Server.

    Running screaming like a little girl and hiding in a closet is a legitimate play style in True Survival and sometimes is the only way to stay alive. **For any new players there are suggested game settings in the Intsall/Settings File that come with the mod

    @xyth- No I had a whole nutrition system worked out with scurvy and other sicknesses where fruits, veggies and meat gave different nutrition vitamins and the player would needed to eat a balanced diet but after getting it all finished I looked at it and it was a whole lot of complicated work for much of nothing. The bonus you get now for prepared foods really achieves the same goal, "to get the player to eat a varied diet". The tobacco will be dried on the Drying Rack and with papers you can roll cigarettes. The Cannabis will be the same but I'm going to add the "weed" buff that will make you slow and hungry for a bit. You could use this to help lessen the Over Stuffed buff or use it to make yourself hungry so you can eat more wellness foods.

    Here are the Plants that we have nothing to do with. Forrest Flower- This flower drops no seeds and can not be farmed. I was thinking maybe make it an ingredient for the cure for the Z Virus? Sun Flower- Gather the Seeds and Dry them on the Drying Rack to make a easy snack that slightly lowers Hydration(maybe needs salt?) Sugar Cane-Could just be for decorations or we could use it for Beer/Grain Alcohol recipe

    No I dont plan on adding the working survivors that make stuff and eat. They are cool but not sure it they fit TS game play. I would like to use Morts follower interface so we dont have to punch them, that be nice.     Ok got this all sorted and need some input. Here is what is available for us to use for Farming. Each item has its own unique mesh. Fruit Trees Apple Lime Lemon Orange Peach Pear Cherry Avocado Veggies- Tomato Peppers Carrot Eggplant Garlic Onion Lettuce Corn Potato Fruit Plants- Banana Plant Blueberry Snowberry Strawberry(This one has a growth stage that looks just like Poison Ivy) Yucca Fruit Flowers- Goldenrod Red Flower Cotton Forrest Sunflower Other Food- Wheat Mushrooms Medicine- Aloe Buff Items- Tobacco Cannabis Hops Coffee Resources- (I think these will be used in biome decoration maybe drop seeds but no recipe to make seeds) Redwood Tree Bamboo Palm tree Sugarcane Yucca Cactus It’s a lot of stuff. The Starvation team has done a great job on adding a ton new vegetation meshes they just all look so beautiful it be a shame not to use them. But I think we will have to pick some of these for farming all is just too many.

    @xyth I like those ideas but there are problems to it. If I give the cop a pistol,1 now he has something others will not get from a super long time. 2If the cop starts with the pistol recipe than he can repair it from the start.Now I could make recipes unlock for the professions at certain levels but that doesn't seem right to me. If you were a Cop and knew how to clean and assemble a pistol you wouldn't have to run around the zombie apocalypse a while before you remembered. I could make a completely new item "Old Pistol" and have it un repairable so it would have limited use. The same could be done for other items like a "Old Hoe"(hehe) or "Military Knife". Seems a little cheesy but it might be fun to relate to your profession immediately. Also I have narrowed it down to 3 tech skills Primitive, Journeyman and Master Craftsman. Primitive will be Wood and Stone(cobblestone) building and early game items. Journeyman will be Scrap Blocks,Flagstone/Brick, Iron items and Mid game items. Master Craftsman will be Concrete/Reinforced Concrete, Steel Blocks, Steel items and End game items. Now with that in mind what do yall think the gates should be? Can use player level and I would like it to require some mastery of the previous tech skill so the first group of items for Journeyman Crafting XP have a gate that requires some level of Primitive Crafting. The point is to not let player jump over Tech Skills and play through all the stages of the game at lest some. My suggestion- Journeyman starting items unlock at player level 20 Primitive Crafting lv 75 Master Craftsman starting items unlock at player level 65 Journeyman Crafting lv 75
