    @catalst- From the front page where you get the download info- To join the Test Server- Download and install the 7d2dModLauncher from here- https://7daystodie.com/forums/showthread.php?48537-The-7D2D-Mod-Launcher-A-Mod-Launcher-for-7-Days-to-Die After installing and updating the Mod Launcher copy the page address below then paste it in that field- https://raw.githubusercontent.com/SpiderJZMOD/7D2DModLauncher-File/master/7d2dLauncher.xml Press Enter. Uncheck EAC and install (might take a long time the first time) In the Mod description in the Launcher you will find the current Server Password. Click on "show more information" to see the current sever password. The Server Password will change whenever the clients need refreshing. After starting game the ip and port will be automatically populated.

    16.2 Update: Mod updated to 16.2 -Redid Sleeper spawning groups. Starting players will only get slow movers in spawning in POI's at the start and as the players game level increases the variation and deadliness of the possible sleeper spawns will increase. -Decreased the amount of zombies that spawn for any Sleeper Spawn. This is to help mitigate the consent spawning of sleeper zombies as the player attempts to clear a POI. Our zombies are much more deadly we do not need as many. This also helps with performance. -Re balanced all zombie HP and lowered XP from killing zombies. Most zombie HP went down and all XP went way down(no power leveling off screamer hordes anymore) -Added a lot of missing recipes -Changed Building Type Skills into 3 part Perks that can only be unlocked by completing your "Learning To Building" quest lines. Building quest consist of 4 quest each. #1 Build the proper upgrading/ dismantling Tool. #2 Collect 1000 upgrade material from destroying similar blocks with the tool. #3 Craft 1000 of the Frames. #4 Upgrade 1000 Frames. Complete all 4 and you will unlock all the frames and upgrading materials needed to build that style of blocks. -Re did loot tables- Completely re did the loot table to include all of the new modded items, blocks and weapons. -All loot containers now have at lest a small chance for good loot. Making every loot container worth searching always. -Added new "Animal Containers". The recipe can be unlocked by leveling your Hunting Skill. Use the animal containers on Spider or Scorpion Traps fond in the world to make them your pets. Once they are your pet you can place them and pick them up[ anywhere and they will not bite or sting you. You can also turn your pets back into traps that when placed can not be picked up and bite and sting anything that steps on them. -Action Skills can not have points purchased -Crafting skills cost 1 Skill Point per level accumulative. So lv 1 cost 1 point, lv 2 cost 2 points, level 3 cost 3 points and so on. -Started to organize the Skill/Perk menus -Infected Vultures no longer can "Grab" the player or cause a zombie "Bite" on the player. Lowered Vulture attack damage to 2 damage but doubled their attack speed. This makes them no longer deadly just annoying. -Removed the ability to plant and make Coffee Seeds. Changed item name to Coffee Grounds. Coffee is only found in loot. -Changed the Coffee Plant to be a Wild Bean plant that only grows wild in any wasteland biome. Wild Beans are the only plant that can be broken down into a Protein Serving. -Added 3 Meat Pies (Small, Medium, Large)that give Nutrition and are made with Protein Serving and a Grain Serving on the Campfire -Added back in the True Survival Bag Drop System-Zombie loot never disappears. When zombies die they turn into dead body gore blocks and over time the dead body's decay into skeletons and then stay forever until removed. Both Gore stages can be harvested for Rotten Meat and Bones. This helps with looting your kills, adds to the ambiance of the environment(leaving signs of past battles), helps with performance and can be used to track players for PVP. -And a bunch more bug fixes that are to many to list

    New test map is up on the server. Server/Mod is updated to 16.2. Test play will last a week or 2 depending. Remember if you get killed off and cant respawn post your steam id# here and I will reset you at the next server restart. Ill post the changes later, have fun don't die!

    Thanks for all the participation and feed back this week during our test play. I'm working on updating the mod to 16.2 while fixing bugs and adjusting/balancing the mod systems. I will leave the current game up on the server until the new 16.2 build is ready and then we will start another play test. I hope to have a new test map up tomorrow night or Monday night *fingers crossed*

    Just so everyone knows, if you die off and cant respawn on the test server because Dead-is-Dead just post your steam id here and I will reset your player on the next server restart.

    Well this is only the 7th day of the very first test play of the Mod and its still on 16.1. Also TFP said A16 will have a A16.3 so I have to wait for that. Ballpark? Few Weeks maybe month depending on how long 16.3 takes. No need to wait though server is open to all and we have been having a blast. I'm on my third life now I have gotten Dead-is-Dead twice now lol To be honest there is still a lot to do. This testing is just to get the core mod functioning and balanced I still have to put in NPCs, Bandits, sort POI's and a few more things. If you want it to go faster then the more people testing the faster all the bugs are found. O! I do have some very cool news though. Im excited to announce that True Survival will be featuring Xtrakickings Zombie Texture Overhaul on our zombies.     Update: Removed Cooking Grill requirement from Kabobs on the Prep Table Changed Backpacks to be scraped into cloth Changed Cloth Slippers to be scraped into cloth Fixed it so wellness on foods is stated in stat screen Removed extra knife from Chef Profession Kit Fixed Healthy Meals cook times and XP Made the Lockpick gun unlock Steel Munition Crates. Cost 10 lockpicks Fixed wrong recipes on Prep Table Fixed error on Crossbow when assembling Fixed Hunting Knife repair Added missing melee weapons to loot like Bats and Tomahawks Lowered the amount of sticks needed to repair and upgrade damaged wooden spikes Fixed repair loss on all items Fixed Mechanical, Electric and Electronic scraping. All "junk loot" scraps now Changed Fruit and Veggie Juice to require an Electric Blender as a cooking tool on the Prep Table

    Update: Changed the Nutrition system to not allow wellness gain from foods if you have any negative diet effects instead of only allowing wellness gains from foods when you have positive diet effects. Removed all ferals from early game POI sleeper spawning Chaqnged spike upgrading to use stoneaxe Increased xp gains on all early weapons and tools Increased XP gains for Hunting Increased XP gains for Cooking Unlocked scraping of foods into servings, now player can do this from the start Added recipes for Forge Molds Removed Corn Bread. Cornmeal can be scraped to Grain Serving and made into flour on the Stone Mill Fixed weapons and tools giving errors on trying to repair Changed some starting tools to easier to obtain repair items. Ex: Claw Hammer is now repaired with Scrap Iron instead of Short Iron Pipes Slowed Snow Zombies top end speed Slowed some zombies that moved too fast Changed Doctors Infected Shot to not cause the Z-Virus in players but instead kills most Zombies in 6 seconds after being injected Made all backpacks drop on destroy Added recipe Bone Shiv -> Bone Meal Added recipes for Barricades Lowered quantity of feathers found in nest Changed the Burning Barrel to require fuel to give off light and player heat but no longer adds to Zombie Heat Map Infected Animals attack now Added Dates and Coconuts to appropriate Palm Trees A bunch of other small tweaks Thanks to all that hopped on the test server and tried to live through the weekend. I have to admit it was too hard at the start(and that's me saying that) but it is now playing great after a few tweaks. I have had to reset my character once already because Dead is Dead and I'm down to 40 wellness already. The new nutrition system is really shinning through and making food and water the most important thing for surviving(as it should be). After a few more xp tweaks the new way we unlock building styles will be a well oiled machine and feel like the most natural unlocking system yet. Test Map will stay up till this weekend at which time I will do a big update on all the things i could not edit in an active game without breaking it. I will then set up another test play based on whatever needs testing/tweaking at that time. Known Bugs- Missing Icons on a few items Wrong Icons on a few items Missing descriptions on items Some new added block meshes can not be interacted with or hit Stone Mill, Anvil and Mortal & Pestle can only be used from viewing workstation from the bottom

    Ok Survivors work on the A16 Mod is going very well and barring any fires, car crashes or falling meteors we should be ready for our first basic play through testing this weekend. What does this mean? This doesn't mean the mod is finished. What this means is all modded systems have passed our first test and function appropriately without any known errors. All weapons and tools have have had a balancing pass. All zombies have had a balancing pass. All modded systems should be in place and working properly. What needs testing now? Besides any errors or bugs we are moving on to balancing and polishing systems and stats. So leveling speed, recipes, descriptions, stat balancing on weapons, tools, entitys and just making sure the game plays smoothly and all modded systems are integrated and explained well and user friendly. How long will it last? I hope to start up a map on Thursday or Friday and barring any unforeseen malfunctions leave it up for at lest a week. After that I will make adjustments and we will either do another week test or move on to end game testing. *The mod is far from finished and is still missing much of the polish such as icons and descriptions. I am trying to get the important items and systems explained before the map goes up but some will still be missing by this weekend but I can add those to an active game without problems.

    @Starfly- 1.When its finished and released yes you can play it any way you want to as long as everyone has the mod installed. 2.Mod is still in the updating/testing phase. The current version is live on the test server and anyone can join through the Mod Launcher to poke there head in.

    Updated header- Players no longer spawn in bad biomes when starting or if no bed has been placed. Also need some feed back. Im setting up the quest that will act as the trading system with the Traders and the task they ask you to complete. My question to ya'll is are these worth trading and doing but not too OP. Note that you can only do these once and they will only cost 1 bullet casing so a player could buy all the Trading Quest the Trader had whenever they visited and work on them all at once. They will not all be available at once.     Server and client update, new server password posted same place as before. Those errors should be gone , let me know if they are not. Added to Mod description: All Rotten and Moldy old food items can be scraped into "Biomass" and used in crafting fertilizer and other recipes.

    @Xrt- Are you just venting or would you like help because that post really gives me nothing to work with. Are you using the Mod Launcher as it states you have to? Do you have the Mod Launcher working correctly? You did read and understand this is not a stand alone mod at the moment and it will only work on the test server right? If you want detailed help give detailed information.

    Added to Header: Added over 100 "Junk Items" to spice up looting. Junk items are everyday items found in loot that can be scraped for raw materials, used in crafting or needed for quest. Economy and Traders The currency of True Survival is the Bullet Casing use them at the trader for hard to find items and raw resources. Trade with Traders by way of quest they sale for 1 Bullet Casing. Do jobs for Traders to earn rewards by way of quest they sale for 1 Bullet Casing. Traders do not want your junk anymore and are very selective on what they will buy from the player - - - Updated - - - Crap! All my space is used up on the front page and the mod description is not finished. Any ideas?

    @ libre44 - The mods target is not to be "harder than anything" If that was the case I could just give all zombies 1,000,000 health points and be done with it. Anyone can make the game hard True Survivals goal is to do just what the very first line in the description says make the game "more challenging survival combined with a steady slow progression in building & crafting" My view on inventory is there are 2 types of inventory items, Building/Crafting and Survival loot. Building /Crafting loot is where we suspend our reality because playing a game where you have to walk back and forth to a storage container 100 times to build a wall is not fun or immersive and the whole game starts to fall apart if you limit building/crafting stack size. Now survival items are food,water,medical supplies are where inventory management comes in and stack sizes are more realistic. Also until you play the mod you wouldn't realize that we have added 100's of new looting items making every inventory slot important. Yes we edit all entities to improve them.

    @Darkstardragon- The only way to spawn back in after Dead is Dead is to wipe the map or delete the players files on the server. So yes they might know where their base was and if the set passwords they could use them to get back in but if not all their stuff would be locked up and they would have to raid it like any other base.
