  3. I am amazed by the amount of complaints and outright disrespect by some in this thread. To keep things polite, if you don't like the way the mod plays either uninstall it and play something else or adjust to the way it has been made. There are certainly a few bugs but many like the dupe bug (not saying this is a bad comment) exist in vanilla. Jax and his team have put countless hours and effort into this and to see some of the whining and complaining just makes me sick. This is my opinion so take it for what its worth but with a few tweaks this will be a stellar mod. He has already stated there are some issues and they will work to correct them but my god people... really wtf.
  4. On our server we are at the lowest setting which helped. With only a few of us it was hard and not fun but scaled back it’s better, They’re tough but beatable with low end weapons.
  5. I honestly have no idea yet other than it would appear to need to be used with the black and white cow. Brown and white chased a buddy all over the map for about 15 minutes until he turned it into steak lol... Yes, Jax confirmed this as far as them being more difficult as an intended change. After a few days it becomes a bit more manageable. The hit boxes need improving as was noted in other posts but the reasons are beyond my pay grade. That’s being addressed along with some other things. All in all this is a great mod. One of only a couple I play now. Hopefully Jax is chilling today and enjoying some time to himself. I’ve heard saves are an issue but have not noticed that yet but we’re only about 10 days in so might not have reached the point where it happens. I’ve no doubt this will continue to be better and better.

  7. I’ve been mobbed several times now but still only around day 10 if I recall. Otherwise I have had zero issues to this point other than their sponginess which was as intended. @Jax are there any logs or anything we can supply from the server or single player?

  9. @Jax, I assumed the bullet “sponges” were an intended feature and it actually has played well overall. Initially it took some adaptation but we pick our fights now. Thanks again for the mod and your efforts ! @Tin. We picked a new seed to play which solved the terrain issue. Very flat so far as we’ve travelled. I do think there was a file issue on the server as I could never get it fixed. Just did a full wipe and started over. Thanks for the input.
  10. This could be possible. Many shots were accurate but not all were headshots. One of the zombies I encountered game the appearance the bolts were passing through although I was successful in killing him. Nothing terrible by any means and might be as intended but horde night ain’t gonna be fun at this rate... It’s possible but this version install was a fresh install using the launcher with a name specific to this version. Server was also a complete wipe and fresh install. I’ll try your suggestions though to see if it changes. I don’t care about the seed and especially this early I can start fresh since this is more a test run at this point.
  11. Jax, we’re running 3.0 and overall it runs well. We are only playing level 2 on the server as difficulty and the zombies are truly bullet sponges. Might be intentional but it makes it very much a grind. The other thing we noticed is the terrain. It might be due to our seed choice but I’m posting a couple screenshots because the roads are strange and many poi’s spawn on the tips of hills and mountains. We can live with it but never had a seed this crazy. Otherwise no issues to this point beyond that and it’s looking to be a fun time. Appreciate everyone’s hard work on this. We have played Ravenhearst full time since we completed Valmod. Not end game but got to a point we were no longer challenged. Don’t see that happening with this mod for sure.
  12. We don’t ALL view things that way. I’m appreciative of the devs and moders and my view has always been “it’s done when it’s done”. I get where your coming from since I see all the A17 posts and calling it a dead game and all that. I get irritated and I’m not even working on the game and it frustrates me.
  13. Has anyone gotten the heli crate to work in multiplayer? Tried it this evening but it would not let me drop the crate. Single player works fine. I saw this might not work but was hoping it would. Is this possible?
  14. Certainly don’t want to lose that either. So if I understand correctly, this might be due to the seed choice and the way it randomly generates the terrain? Also, is there only 1 instance of that chopper on a map or are they more common? Can I search the server using command for that I’d number? I did go in and dug out the blocks and refilled using sod. Fixed the issue. Debating if a new seed would fix it. Just don’t want random getting stuck and leaving due to it if I can fix it.
  15. Biggest thing I see here is the 8GB of ram. If that’s your system ram you’re gonna struggle.
  16. Thanks xyth. I was mainly concerned if it would cause players a problem. I’ll just go in and blow some block up to see if that resolves it. I thought maybe collisions as well because using tp at those coordinates seems to bring me right under the tail section. As long as it’s nothing serious and doesn’t crash the server I’m not gonna worry. Thanks for the input everyone.
  17. Jax its understandable. I did not spawn near it but noticed it in the error logs. Today I used tp and coordinates to spawn near the location. I did not get the error until nearing that block / entity. I'm by no means complaining and love the mod. Just bringing this up in case its something that needs fixed. I would be interested in knowing the cause. Thanks for your efforts all around. It IS appreciated. I also wanted to add; I can loot it without issue. Just throws that error.
  18. Sinda, as yet, yes I have only found this item which seems specific to the screenshot. It is playing music. It appears to be the tail rotor that triggers the errors. If I move away it stops scrolling the error. Using version in console i get the following versions; Ravenheart 2.2 SDX: 1 SMX A16.4B8R2 Random Gen seed is sand Pastebin is https://pastebin.com/xDZWQfpQ Fairly large output file. Let me know if more details are required and thank you for your assistance.

I have noticed an error consistently showing in the logs which is 2018-02-06 21:39:57 300283.385 Error Block on position -4619, 59, 124 with value id=109 px=0 py=0 pz=0 should be a parent but is not! (3) The position is the helicopter and in game shows " Gunship music " . Just wondering if anyone has encountered this and if it can be fixed. I've not checked single player as yet so I will check that thinking maybe a file got corrupted. This is a hosted dedicated server. Edit, seems the same in single player as well. Any idea if this sounds like a corrupt file or something else?
  20. On our server I have tweaked those settings down but also have items given on first spawn. We don’t mind difficult but with only 3 or at max 4 players in random gen it balances nicely. We’ve not gotten far yet and I think it’s about day 6 but while in the first city we had quite a battle with sleepers and wandering hordes. I’m glad we adjusted the settings for a more balanced start. Obviously this won’t suit everyone’s tastes but we like it.
  21. I have a question I hope someone might be able to answer. I installed this mod on a dedicated server using the following; Server files from: https://github.com/dwallorde/WotWServerFilesV5-2BBM/archive/master.zip Servertools: https://7daystodie.com/forums/showthread.php?77267-Servertools-updated-to-5-5/ Allocs from: http://illy.bz/fi/7dtd/server_fixes.tar.gz The issue seems to be related to the server tools and what happens is shortly after starting the game the “e” or action button stops working. You cannot pick up small stones or anything requiring the use of that button. This was done on a fresh install after a full wipe of the server. Is there anyone running this combination that works? Everything else seems to work as intended including the server tools. Not sure what additional information I can provide that’s useful but if I’ve left out any details let me know. Thank you.
  22. I have no idea what the actual cause was. I went in and wiped everything out of the launcher and also when into the game and deleted everything except player profile. That solved whatever the issue was. Attempting to update mods seldom works for me and I suspect it’s the temp mods the launcher keeps. Either way it’s all good now. I don t mind a bit of effort I just wanted make sure the splash page for the mod was updated before I started chasing a failed update. Thanks again!
  23. I was wondering if anyone knows if the version is updated. I attached a screenshot that appears to show an outdated version. I have tried with the launcher and manually adding the files but the splash page still appears to show an older version.
  24. Lmao! Great catch. Both Compulsive and I seem to have missed my fabulous spelling there.... Yes, You can as not all items go into the toolbelt. Some go into your main inventory. Yeah, I noticed that and if I have more questions I will post them there. Thanks to all that looked into this. I'm afraid I am getting a bit old and sleepy these days and obviously my proofreading is not up to standard. Just wanted to add, correct spelling worked like a charm lol. Thanks again!
