  1. After first night - which was over at 4 am - night terror still was in front of my house, is that normal? What time they disappear, or I have to kill them?

     

    Night Terrors normally stay til Dawn .. but I have had them until around 7am. ( In my game anyway )

    The Hospital was in a city .. but on the EDGE of the city or large town .. at a turn in the road ... Had 2 old houses in front of me next block over a couple factory building ..

    IF you want ... I could go back and take couple " Hover screenshot of the area .. if that would help you " .. Just let me know.

    Well .. I just had an interesting experience ... I got argument near by pop up .. game stopped .. hit ESC .. it restarted .. I decided to go the other direction and there was a piece of a Hospital on the side of me with a white line running thru it ... Crossed the line and FELL thru the WORLD .. Game froze .. I exited and went back in ..... Now I have a full hospital and white line is gone ... Thank goodness I did not lose anything ..... but wanted to let you know.

     

    Thanks for a great mod ... yes .. I would not be this happy if all was lost

I also know the usage of the underscore, so you may not be as old as you think <G> Technically I go way back to look down Moria on original IBM PC XT server lol Played Pin Balls and juke boxes where the only things around, till many years later when Pong came out lol So to me - everyone's a whippersnapper lol

     

    What I've resorted to (yes - I noticed that the traitor does have the clock) is DM'ing and then opening the console to see what time it is. When playing this game I take it as Time being your worst enemy.

     

    OH! I can't seem to find the right 'workbench'/'etc' to make bullets. :(

  5. Hello! I was wondering if a 'clock' is available? Maybe a SunDial even? lol

     

     

    To be honest .. I've gotten use _ to not having a clock .. sun comes up / sun goes down ... we have the day and I think that is the most important thing ....... But it was nice .. I built my home base in a POI with a vending machine and I have a battle base else where.

  6. so we updated everything to server 3.1.2 and well it broke everything

    i now have 4200 buckets because all of my stone turned into buckets? is this a thing like my coins all turned into leather strips.. i now have 120k leather strips.. is there a fix to this or did 3.1.2 break the world

     

    My FIRST QUESTION is ... WHAT did you Update from .. which version???

  7. Question! With the Mod Launcher if i select "Ravenhearst mod" Can you also select other mods along with it to play with? Or only one at a time?

     

    If mean as a Separate Game .. Yes

     

    I currently have 6 different modded Games running/installed .. They will each install their own folders.

     

    Just make sure you Have ** EAC .. UNCHECKED ** .......... and that you Pre-Sync the game before hitting play mod ........AND don't forget that you are using the Mod Launcher when playing the game and only launch games from there.

  8. The lockpick is currently in the mod, made with scrap iron and stackable to 10. :)

     

    All I was looking at doing was replacing the model and sound.

    Yes .. you have Lockpicks .... I was Having a bad weeks ... (I was thinking of Ravenhearst .. He has them .. but only 1 at a time and Not stackable).

    Have 1 question .. when you do the Lockpick .. will they OR can they be stackable (maybe 5 or 10) ... or maybe we can make them in the backpack with iron. .. Just a thought

  10. Another question to add to that one;

    Do we need Calipers do make bullets? We have the station, but according to the official wiki, the Calipers were removed in v16. Was it kept for the mod? If so, I assume it's a very rare find/trader buy?

    YES .. Forget the Wiki for Mods like this .. first off ... Mods change so much.

     

    You Need at least 2 Calipers and a couple Tool & Die Sets

     

    Advanced Workstation .. uses 1 Caliper and 1 Chisel

    Ammunition Workstation .. uses 1 Caliber and 1 Tool & Die Set

    Advanced Forge .. uses 1 Tool & Die Set and 1 blank mold (that you make)

    Blacksmith Station .. uses 1 smithing hammer and 1 blank mold

     

    SO far that is all I have made .... but also looking for Calipers .. Bought _ Tool & Die sets at Trader for like 4700.00 I think

     

    PS: Nightvision goggles are a thing .. depending on there level is how good they are, but they don't work well with fog ... they are still in game.

  12. Love the models khaine, nice work. As far as the protection removed from the traders and npcs its one of the reasons i play the mod:smile-new:

    perhaps those npcs have run out of ammo, dunno if khaine has added infinite ammo yet

    havent tested it myself

    i know they can run out of ammo because that i have tested many times

     

    YES .. I love the Mod like this also ... But I think he fixed the infinite ammo in 1.6.1 or I thought he did. .... But all good, it keeps you jumping.

  13. Installed this mod (from mod launcher) for the first time today but running into this error:

    Post this on Mod Launcher site for Sphereii to review. Also Make sure your EAC .. is UNCHECK .. game will not run with EAC checked.

     

    AND check your post from 2 days ago #2109 .. I told you the same thing.

Is this true that in this mod you put traders vulnerable ? it doesnt appear to have any upside as waste more time to devote resources to defend the compound as there is no game mechanics yet to be able to upgrade defences on them , like for example upgrade to Defence Tiers per ratio of money spend (ex : Tier 1 spikes, Tiers 3 log spikes, Tier 5 guards, Tier 10 turrets)

    It seems, to me, that the all good stuff taken from other mods and players ideas of this great community was lowered down by that game option. Maybe it would be great, to add, like the BBM, an option for traders as Vanilla for some players like myself that does NOT want to spend game time/resources/waste time (going back and forth to all traders to build defences), just to make sure they are fine ! But that only my opinion, a rule of thumb in the marketing world is that if you offer a new flavour, make sure you keep the original, always !

     

    Food for thought ... ON Traders ... I tried something in one Trader base and added defenses .. (Trader Jimmy) upgraded his scrap metal to reinforced metal and piers to concrete and added a couple shotgun turrets - Problem .. Now his NPC Guards have stopped shooting anything.

     

    BUT the couple of other Traders that I have in Game that are Alive .. I did nothing and their NPC Guards shoot all Z's that get close, unless they are right next to the wall/fence, guards can not shoot straight down - only out.

    PS: I'll take the DEAD TRADERS over NRE any Day ... Plus it makes it more interesting.

    Trying to install Ravenhearst 3.1 7 Day Horde Edition from the 7D2D Mod Launcher which I used for a previous version a while back. I deleted the older version to be safe first, however now when I try launching the game, I get the vanilla 7D2D and no sign of RH. Only thing I noted is in the pre sync I keep seeing this coming up:

    You should be posting this on the 7D2D Mod Launcher site .. SO Sphereii can look into it .......... I'm thinking you might have an old file-folder with old info in it. BUT .. I would check with Sphereii

     

    ALSO .. make SURE .. EAC is Unchecked ... this will not run with EAC.

    Do you have EAC running ?? ......... IF SO .. Uncheck the Box.

There is an issue when I want to download the mod via the mod manager, my steam folder is under Program Files (x86), and when I install the mod, it creates a different folder called Program_Files_(x86)... The underscores make it unable to launch correctly, and I get error messages while starting it... Is there any way to fix this?

     

    JUST A Thought .... You should have made a separate folder for Steam .. (outside of x86)

  18. True, he hasn't. But I'M using SleekHunting2 and it's still awesome. I doubt town positioning will change; just certain POIs in those towns.

     

    EDIT: just checked youtube, Kage's first episode of ravenhearst 3.1.1 has him on this seed

  19. Just tried this mod for a few days. I like it. But I ran into a problem.

    I started using the mod using the 7D2D Launcher as recomended. One time I forgot to load the launcher, but started the game from steam. It ran into errors and exited. Now when starting game I have all my skill points lost and some other things are messed up. ... ( Why TFP made game to only autosave?) To avoid it accidentally happening ever again I better modify the original folder. That way I will not forget to load the mod.

    Maybe there should be a warning about risks when using and then accidentally not using 7D2D Launcher. Pretty big thing to lose all progress due to wrong launcher.

     

    Thanks for the superb mod. Having fun anyways.

     

     

    That will happen ... Best to start fresh and to Remember to use Launcher.

    I play Ravenhearst on a Server and we updated from 3.0 to 3.1.1. We had a massive problem with this update, cause all our items, regardless if there were in a box or in our inventory, have been replaced with other items for example: we had about 50 cans with clean water, now we have 50 diamond minibike wheels.

     

    My question on this point: is that a known porblem, a bug or are we just having bad luck with this update?

     

    Letting this aside, Ravenhearst is a really great mod and i love playing this.

     

    IT WAS NOT AN UPDATE ... IT WAS A FULL WIPE and reinstall mod.

    It's literally like you walk out of one town and stumble into another! Great POIs, etc. Thinking of turning the sky diner into a forge base

  22. Have NO clue as to this being a thing but how come every item is set to false for selling to a trader ? I cant sell any gun or item what so ever ?

    50% correct then but wrong issue hahaha

     

    IF you Have the Skill to break GUNS or some items down .. then you should be able to sale .. unless you are bugged.

     

    [ I was at Trader and Could not sale Full shotguns to him low level .. BUT was able to break them down and sale as parts (they are worth more parts anyway .. but it's a time thing) ] .. Just a thought.

     

    There is some balancing needed .. but all good and I had No problem with tree stumps (some can not be harvested) part of the game.

  23. I turned EAC off still same issue.

     

    Then I think it is the way it installed the First Time .. I would uninstall it all and start over because EAC is loading somewhere.

     

    BUT like I said I would wait until version 3.1 is out OR you will have to do it all again anyway. Just a thought.
