    Good day and I'm new to your generator .. a couple questions

     

    1 .. What is the default count on Traders ?? .. could not find anything on numbers .. my 1st map .. I used default and put it random placement .. but in cm I could only find 1 on half of the map at 8k version ??

    2 .. How are the roads supposed to work ?? .. found a couple missile silo's in the middle of no where and they had no roads to them or even near them. Just wondering on that.

     

    I DO Like the Old style maps .. compared to the New Flat World maps that are in game now .. We asked for flatter Roads and GOT Flat worlds to go with the roads .. a bit Cheezie on the Fun Pimps part.

     

    I will try and make a newer map with some changes to defaults this time … But for sure do like this tool.

    I was doing old school and trying to alter the rwgmixer.xmi … but I did get rid of wasteland .. then had the problem with to much burnt forest and a 50/50 on snow and forest which was OK .. just couldn't get the balance right. Anyway

  2. I started my farm yesterday and after 3 in game days it doesn't seem my crops are growing. Am I supposed to do something else besides til the land? The grow time seems exceptionally long.

     

    Silly question .. did you put water in the ground as .. edge of garden _ XXX _ wtr _ XXX _ wtr _ XXX _ edge of g .. hope know what I'm trying to say without all the words.

    Hoping it is anyway. Question .. With A 17.3 Stable out .."cough" hoping it is.

     

    Anyway .. There are going to mods that are Updating to A 17.3 and there will be some that will not right away still needing A 17.2 ..

    Will the Mod Launcher keep the 2 separate as needed or is this going to cause an issue?? Right now I have A 17.2 running .. have any helpful advise for this Old guy ..

    The main one I'm thinking will be ( BorderlandZ ) his Stable needs A 17.2 .. But Rucky is updating his Experimental version to A 17.3 and I'm playing both at the moment.

    I will try again .. maybe I just a bad install and like I said it took forever to just load up.

    Edit with a PS: I think I found the problem is with the 2k part of the mod .. Dust2Death under minimum requirements … SSD a must .. and that is a First ..

     

    Mod Launcher itself is on my Steam Game Drive and is a 500gb SSD .. but all the mods go to and loaded on Storage Drive 2 TB HD 7200 and never had an issue, even with other 2k games that required a lot of space.

    So I'm guessing Vanilla version will run, just not 2 or 4k version. Kinda a bummer.

     

    1 more edit .. my Ravenhearst 2k runs just fine .. don't understand why the difference. Any Hints :smile-new:

    I have a question .. on WinterProject A 17 on the launcher

     

    I tried to play it in the 2K version and it would not launch .. took better than 20 minutes just to install .. but finally did .. Pre-sync .. Hit play .. the fun pimps screen came up and went away .. got the music .. but only thing I had was a black screen after and waited about 5 minutes and nothing .. is it not compatible with A 17.2 or is it only A 17

  7. It's not just that I have to add the Localization stuff with every update. I have to add it every time I run the game. It always reverts back to default. Haven't tried with Experimental.

     

    After you set localization file and if mod launcher … DO NOT PRE-SYNC and TURN OFF AUTO Update game ( 'Refresh Mods Automatically )' .. This is causing your problem .. it happened to me a couple of time .. Because I forgot.

    A question for an old guy .. will this auto update in the DF game ? .. OR .. Do I need to uninstall the modlet and then reinstall it for the update to happen and then recopy local file text over as normal .. Using the Mod Launcher .

     

    Don't want to lose all that work I put in building the base.

  9. Keep in mind there's the different Rarities / Tiers of Essence 1 star, 2 star, etc. :)

     

    OK .. That answers the question then I think .. I didn't have high enough Tier of Essence on me .. And Thank you for fast reply .. Played 8 hrs straight today doing Trader quest and what not's.

    Have 2 Question ..

    1 .. is the Big Forge suppose to burn all over when in use and smoke like this when just sitting:

    2 .. Do you have ghouls in 2.04 like Ravenhearst has for his nights wandering around .. Because I had one jump me outside of a Trader at night .. no problem killing … BUT it is the FIRST one that I have seen.

  11. Cool base! :) The Sorcerer Armor is currently repaired using Fire Essence (1-2), similar to how Spellcasts are repaired. This will most likely change later with the arrival of Elemental Armor Sets :)

     

    I'll have to try again .. because that is what I was thinking and had it in my inventory .. but it would not repair and repair didn't even come on or light up as to work .. " I had fire and ice essence on me like 50 of each, thinking that should be enough "

    I will try again later .. Oh .. this was on some Trans armor if that makes a difference I picked up.

    Have a Question in reference to Repairing Armor .. I tried a couple of thing and nothing seemed to work .. so I just made new. .. And .. I did not find anything that pointed me in the right direction in your forum or I just missed it.

  13. Hey KhaineGB, so how do I DL experimental version of the new DF.. I m running it with launcher, but i don't see any option to change to experimental version, just the normal version - just sort of finished the ordinary playthrough again and would like to try the new stuff :)

     

    As for RWG the NITROGEN is really awsome, with ton of options and choices for map generation. Maps looks really great, with great looking mountains, roads are smooth and nicely connected, no floating buildings... looks like what maps should be like in the game - you can adjust them to your wishes - why can't TFP come up with something like this :D

     

    Have you UPDATED The Launcher Newest is 2.08.18955 ………. IT IS RIGHT UNDER Darkness Falls …… SAYS .. DF Experimental

  14. I could, but that's intended. :p It's supposed to be slow.

     

    The localization thing is fixed in the next experimental too. I added Sphereii's localization patch so you don't have to manually add it. The game adds it at run-time just like the rest of the modlet.

    Never noticed the Lock before AND ALL this time .. ALSO Playing with Sorcery mod ..

     

    BUT If using the Launcher .. You DO NOT Want to use the Refresh mod OR Pre-Sync Button .. Because it will Reset the ( Localization.txt ) … back to Original DF setting.

     

    Tried a couple different things .. So just use ( Play game ) and all will be good once you have it set-up.

     

     

    KhaineGB .. one request .. Can you make the hammer use less than 6 hits on Tit frames .. try doing 300 block Lol …. the Old Gamer .. :02.47-tranquillity:

  16. If it's possible,please make 'blood moon range' changeable,i love blood moon hordes a lot,to wait up to 21 day is a real torture :/:D

     

    It's adjustable in your UI control panel if you are running A 17.2 .. just a thought here. IF you want it everyday you can.

     

    I should say with my game anyway, but I have mine set to every 14 days, gives me more time to build.

     

     

    I STAND Corrected .. I just checked and something I never noticed until now .. I set to 14 and didn't SEE the disable .. Me BAD

    I guessing like everyone else .. YES, you are working on new Version .. BUT .. you are also waiting for the Fun Pimps to drop the next Update before release … Just so you can see what changes are made or broken.

    SO to make sure .. ALL your Hard work isn't broken by said changes from the Fun Pimps and I totally understand that.

  18. ETA is long due, wanted to release it around Christmas 2018, but life is life... so one deadline missed after another and I'm still working on the mod, but all for greater good, because I don't want to sacrifice quality and rush things.

     

    New ETA: Sometime soon in 2019 :D

  19. That was because of an ingame bug in A16.4, so no, not in A17, but i have some ideas to help with managing electricity ;)

     

    There is a MOD on Nexus that is made for A 17 and works fine for the Vanilla game .. if you get time you might want to take a look at it.

    I'm using it now and having no issues .. it also worked with Darkness Falls for A17 .. have used in both.

    Have a question .. I'm having issues with quest not updating as they should .. To start with .. I took the Bow Learning Quest .. made another bow .. which I had already done 1 for the First survival quest line .. but later I was checking the quest logs and noticed that wood bow did not update .. still showing 1 of 2 .. but all the KILLS Counted .. now I'm working iron bow and that did update .. So I'm thinking there might be some bugs on the quest you made for game ..

     

    Also .. somewhere it should SAY .. you have to watch jerky being made to get points and quest complete (did that one twice) .. ON quest that WE must watch being done ** IT should say so somewhere **

    Have a question and I asked a long time ago when A17 was being talked about .. ARE we still going to have wireless junction boxes and or junction Blocks as before ….. I hate looking at wire all over the place when making up a base.
