    I'm having a small issue, ever since I used the debugmenu and it doesn't happen on every start up .. has happen on 3 out of the last 5 log-ins. I get floating AK's around Trader Jens base "about a dozen or so" .. which is my base also after rebuilding it to a stronger build. (the same weapons the guards use and they all have theirs.)

    I was wondering if you know anyone else having this issue and what might be causing it.

    Any Clues

    I have a question .. Is there a way to Spawn a new Trader Guard into game .. I by accident killed one _ maybe 2 .. when upgrading a trader base that I will be using.

  5. Good day Spider .... I'm not sure I understand the "Traits system" ... 

    I tried the negative _ thinking I would get several more point to work with .. but I didn't get any additional point ... so I tried the positive and was only able to buy 2 

    Yes _ 2 separate games sitting on a log ...... AND ...... Boy are the zombies overpowered on the most part .. headshots seem to be only thing that works. Once I got done with the traits. 

    Also .. I did use the cm before exiting the game and got the dev wrench "which is normally 1 shot anything _ but these guys took 3-4 hits before going down" .. Surprise=Surprise 

     

    Could you maybe explain the traits again on the main page ... When you have time .. no hurry on that.

    PS: When checking the load after in game with .. "F-1" .. I noticed alot of redlines .. is that the normal TFP stuff and not to worry about them.

  7. Good day .. You might want to check your mod under " F-1 " for Load issues .... I tried it and found many red errors on start and it crashed a couple times (just stopped running) ........ and I'm running a i7 9700 with 64 ram on a MSI z390 Gaming MB ... Now; I'm using a custom combo pack map 10k ... I tried that War3zuk and that is terrible. Just a few thoughts.

  8. Anyone that complains about how Long it is taking .. IS Being Disrespectful ........ Modders are .. People that Love a Game and want to make it Better in some way or improve the experience that other players get from a game.

    They are Not on the payroll of a mega company .. on the Most part they only get money from Patron's 

     

    SO .. sit back and wait Like the rest of US .. it will get here .. When it gets here.

    Subquake wants the game Right and not a thrown together bunch of crap that doesn't work ..

    I hope you continue to update this map make .. it is a Great Tool and does have a few minor issues. But mostly because of HOW us player try to use it and make some impossible map.

    1) .. I would like to see the New Combo pack out be part of the maker .. I'm a bit older now and don't remember how all the stuff .. that needs to be done to make it work. 

    2) .. One of the biggest issues that this program has is making buildings and terrain work together ..if working on a smooth or better condition in smoothness.

    Anyway .. I watched a video of the latest pre-release version for A18.4 and it is looking good .. But I was wondering if you thought about destroying trashbags and bird nest after Looting them .. it would help in cleaning up the screen or is there a need for them??

    OR .. once game is released would I be able to drop a mod into game that gets rid of them .. Just wondering.

    But, why Im writing is that you are getting Modlets being installed on the Launcher that have No info on them and I'm not able to find anything out about them .. new one today is ..

     

    ExcitusXtreme .. nothing on the forum about it .....

     

    ThatOneGuild Overhaul .. I'm playing this one I really enjoy and that is, but again no info on the forums .. but would to chat with creator about a couple small issues ....

     

    Anyway .. is there a way to get ahold of these authors or do you have a link somewhere for them?

  12. Hi. I hope I'm in the right place. I'm trying to install Darkness Falls and I'm getting an error and the game won't run. So I'm looking for some help.

     

    I'm installing with the Mod Launcher. I have the proper versions of everything, and the game starts, but at some point when the process starts initializing world a log display appears with some text in red regarding an asset bundle that is already loaded. Animal Hunter Potion Unity 3d or something like that. There is also a notation in red stating that there is a Divide By Zero Exception. At that point the game locks up and must be terminated. I'm attaching a screenshot but it's a bit hard to see. Is there an error file I can attach somewhere? Any assistance is appreciated.

    UPDATE - Got it working by manually installing. I hope the information is useful in some way.

    This is a normal issue with the Mod Launcher with this game and a couple others .. But if you just hit ESC and go back into game screen .. the game will run fine .. Should (SAY) it does for me and I've had it happen several times .. has to do with something in how windows reads the game .. I understand it can happen on a Linux system also.

    But Thought I would try out DF in 18.4 style .. and one of my semi-floating bases.

    Just had my first horde night .. I was Pre-Prep for it .. but not For over 500 zombies and a wave of 100+ screamers. I did survive it .. had to use cm to get more ammo .. LOL .. My kill count after the Horde was 931 .. forgot to check Game-stage, but I think it is something like 78

     

    But the Loot was Great .. My settings are _ Survivalist _ 16 Bloodmoon .. but I kicked up option to 125 zombies and 100 animals, because I was getting that many and I think that had something to do with the horde being so Large. ( I will be turning it Back ).

  14. Im having the firepit error posted above and Im curious if there was ever a resolve for it , Im trying a 4k right now and my nitro settings are all mega and lots and what not and Im running compo43 the map part works fine its when I place the campfire

     

    Edit, Lowered it to the option below Mega and still the error persists and the Traders are seen in the prefablist of the map so not sure whats happening.

     

    Edit - I don't know if this has an impact either but I created an instance of the game to keep vanilla pure.

     

    Edit - Combined in the vanilla game or not not seeing a difference.

     

    DID You try a straight Vanilla game and did you get an error .. Just wondering and verify your folder files on Steam .. Also what version of 7d2d are you running and what version of Nitrogen … you don't say that I saw

    OK .. I removed the combo comment from my notes .. BUT .. Until v0.474 is updated for A18.3 b4 Stable .. I will remain using Combo 42

     

    NOW .. with that said .. I'm using a map made with v0.474 and Combo 42 _ in a New Game with A 18.3 b4 Stable and So far .. No Issues. Thank goodness.

  16. Trying out this mod today, using the 7D2D Mod Launcher to perform the install.

     

    However, upon launch I have loads of "Failed getting load state of FSB" errors as well as a bunch of errors preceding that about modifying a script and "7daystodie_data/resources assets is corrupted". It all goes by too fast to read it, but the game never gets to the menu screen.

     

    I'm wondering if it's because the base game in my Steam library the 7D2D launcher is copying from is 18.3(b4) and the resulting version with the mod is 18.2(b5).

     

    I can't find a mechanism to download 18.2(b5) for this mod to see if that resolves the issue. Any ideas?

    AND make sure you TURN OFF .. Auto update in Steam Properties for this game ( 7D2D ) if you only want A 18.2 b5 to run.

  17. READ My Lips ALL : …….NitroGen for Alpha 18 v0.474 ……… IF YOU Read the " Read ME's " At this time .. it is only for up to A 18.2 b5

     

    He will have to Update it for A18.3 .. because the Fun Pimps did some more code changing in game .. and some of v.0.474 will not work correctly until it is updated.

     

    A 18.3 stable … Broke a lot of Games that were running fine in A 18.2 b5

    Silly question, but I have ask .. You did put the CompoPack 42 in the Vanilla _ Data _ Prefab folder .. also. I know a couple of people that didn't and without it being in the vanilla folder .. the game doesn't see it and that can cause an error.

    Just a thought and I have run out of thought at the moment. Hopefully you get it straightened out soon

    Mega city on a 8k map with Combo 42 will cause issues .. just a heads up on that .. suggestion never go over large on 8k, something to do with not enough room overall for map to place correctly.

    If using Balance .. you do not need to add .. burnt and wasteland, I don't think .. that is auto on balance.

     

    Why you are getting errors .. I'm not able to figure out ..

     

    there are so many thing in game that can cause an error .. bad downloads .. corrupt files .. mods not working in A18.2 …. TFP changed a lot of coding in A18 ..

    I personally have made many 10K and 12K maps with no issues with Combo42 .. hopefully Damocles will see it and be able to help.

     

    PS: Try using .. Import from .. Resource folder and not existing output folder .. Just a thought

  20. I'm getting errors with maps I generate with this tool. They do not happen on the pre-generated maps.

     

    NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

     

    Happens as soon as I put the firepit down in the starting tutorial and just repeats forever. Exiting and starting up again does not help. Deleted the save and started over, it happened again. Play on the pre-generated maps and I get no errors.

     

    I am playing on stable version. Is this generator just for experimental and that is why? Or is there another reason for the generated maps bugging out for me?

     

    *Edit* Tried starting a new game on experimental version and still getting the error when I place the fireplace.

     

    By some chance are you running "Ravenhearst or Darkness Falls" or is this a Vanilla A 18.2b5 game .. If Vanilla .. check your file on Steam.

    Just a couple of thoughts
