  1. Where do we get the milk? Cows are too slow and got eaten by all the zombies. We have boars. Everyone would want to ride the horses and we just don't have the bandwidth to add that right now. Animal Husbandry is not within the scope of this game. We have several ideas for this, but not working on it yet. We currently have over 630 POI's. We do have a train station in one of the RWG tiles. The airport has been a topic for a VERY long time. We'll see what shakes out later down the road, but don't get your hopes up. We have nearly 100 abandoned or remnant POI's that are not quest-able. That doesn't even include all of the POI parts or RWG tiles that are fully explorable.
  2. I think that's on the to do list. Not 100% sure though. @Kinyajuu would know more about that.
  3. The game is designed and balanced to default settings. We allow players to change those settings, but doing so will come with various results. You could change it to Nightmare, always run, horde everyday, 5 minute days, and 25% loot. Your gonna have a bad time, but that is your choice.
  4. Yes. Some of the test team have been playing 2 hour days for fun and found that the collector is much slower. First couple of days may be slightly harder, but they do get more day time to loot so there really isn't too much an issue.
  5. They can be picked up inside land claimed areas like all the workstations and electrical traps.
  6. The dew collector is not the only way to get jars of water. Do you guys not quest or loot POI's? There is plenty of murky water out there to be found.
  7. This. No reason to update the jar icons. They are at the end of the workstation crafting magazine tree which only requires 75 Forge Ahead Magazines to be read. Advanced Engineering will boost the probabilities of finding those magazines. You can also purchase the magazines from the trader or get them as quest rewards. Crucibles are very rare items that can be found in very specific loot containers that starts around level 100 . They are also for sell at the traders. Trader Bob has a higher chance of having one since he will be the tools and vehicles guy.
  8. Our mid/late game food recipes give all sorts of benefits. With the new progression system, you'll be able to unlock them all without the need of perks. Perks help finding those magazines more often, but it is no longer a requirement.
  9. You could try a different horde night strategy. Lots of options available. I've been having a TON of fun with my melee only horde bases. Saves a TON of ammo.
  10. Yup! Can also be thrown to annoy your friends.
  11. Nah. It'll be fine. You never get a bowl from eating a stew or a gas can after filling up the 4x4.
  12. This mod is still available and works the same as it currently does. Safely drink from bodies of water or jars of murky you find. Exactly Cans are gone too. No canteen, just carry the stack of tea like you do now. Murky to Water to Tea is still the crafting path. You just don't get the empty jars back. Go punch a window or smelt some sand.
  13. Thought about it, but no mods as of now. If you perk into shotguns, you find more shotgun related loot, not your party. You'll be fine without jars. Not near as bad as everyone thinks. At 17K hours in game, I have no issues with them gone. Still found in rare loot and craftable. Traders and vending machines have them too! Yup! There are perks for that. Mostly junk for crafting, seeds, magazines, and a sprinkling of bad food or canned goods. Think of it this way. You no longer have to throw the jars on the ground all the time. They are a rare loot drop, quest reward, or trader purchase. Not craftable. TONS of glue in loot. Why is everyone so stuck on the glue production thing? I rarely craft glue I find so much. You know you can build your own building, right? Snow water is gone.
  14. Yup! Uses the gas can, cloth, and oil bottle with blood moon morphing physics to turn itself into a flaming beer bottle. 😛
  15. Jars are not returned to your inventory and cannot be crafted.
  16. Not going anywhere. Used on ammo bundles, reward bundles and test loadouts.
  17. Wow! OK. So, uh. I guess everyone saw the dew collector art and wants to know about A21 Water Survival. The biggest takeaway from all of these changes is to try to bring back the feeling of survival. This is "The SURVIVAL Horde Crafting Game" after all. There was just WAY too much food and water in the world and players would have boxes full of stuff at the end of Day 1. We want players to feel the struggle of finding the simplest items first and working their way up the progressions. Day 1: You are given 1 jar of water at spawn. When that jar is consumed, the jar is not returned to your inventory. This mechanic was removed to promote survival aspects as well as the function of the new dew collector. Having a hard time finding more water? You can now drink from bodies of water by looking at the water with empty hands, waiting a moment without moving, and then pressing E to drink. Hand drinking AND murky water has the following side effects: -5HP and plays a gross sound Has a 12% chance of dysentery Other means of finding water is looting, vending machines, and traders. Murky water can no longer be boiled without a cooking pot. This was skipping the risk murky has if consumed. Snowballs are no longer a means to making water. Players could dig up stacks of snowballs and never have to find water again. They are still used in the Yucca Juice Smoothie or for throwing at your friends. Loot has been adjusted so that drinks are no longer found in cabinets. There are just way too many cabinets in the game. Many loot tables have been adjusted to only find murky water. There are still rare chances to find water and other drinks in special loot containers. Day 2 - 7: Work on trader quests or looting POI's to find the resources needed for crafting a dew collector. Once placed, a dew collector will slowly start to fill the bar on the first slot. When the bar is full, a jar of water will spawn in that slot. Slots are filled based on time only and fills with or without the player being near it (works with the chunk unloaded). The dew collector does not work any faster with rainfall. The default settings are approximately 3 jars of water every 24 hours in game (60mins default real time). Random rolls can make this a few game hours shorter or longer. Hope this helps to answer any questions. Please know that ANY of this can change before A21 launches.
  18. No changes to farming so far for A21.
  19. Looks like The Count is still playing A10...
  20. I've got a few things coming that might work for that. Stay tuned.
  21. As shown in the teaser video, the fire hazards are simply turned off with a valve found somewhere in the POI. No special tools required. Radiation hazards, "if added", will "mostly likely" have some sort of armor or armor mod to negate or lessen the effects. Not really sure on that one just yet.
  22. 1. Working on it 2. Working on it 3. Batons are part of the robotics progression for the simple reason that there are only two of them. One being "techy". 4. Will have to wait and see how things shake out with the environmental hazards. 5. Sorta working on it. 6. The idea of the Behemoth is dead and will not be added to the game. Boss zombies "might" be a thing, but they will just be higher HP versions of the ones we already have. No unique zombies will be added for this.
