Removing older generated worlds?

I got some worlds already generated that I want to get rid of and generate again. I am worried all of it is eating up my hardrive space and I do not know how to remove the old worlds if it is possible.

Use the 7Dlauncher and hit the [tool tab]

Click open game folder>then open the Data folder> then right click on the world folder.

Then scroll down to [send to] then [desk top (create shortcut)].

*This will send the world folder (as a short cut icon) to your desk top* Drag it next to your 7d2d icon.

 

Then go through the steps again, with the 7Dlauncher and do the same for your [save] folder and make that a shortcut as well.

 

This way you'll have an easy way to open the folders directly to remove the different world maps and your saves for those world.

There really should be a way to remove them from within the game. Each of these worlds take up almost 400mb of space!

SO yeah... you are right to feel worried. A little under a gig per 10 worlds.

Open 7 days to die folder->data->worlds-> delete world with the name you wanna get rid of. Though I do agree there needs to be a way to do this in game as well.
