Adam the Waster
As a wise man once said! "Enough talk" -More noticeable heat waves and cold fronts! (Brighter and warmer for heat, darker and more blue for cold) -Zombies get buffed depending on biome. -Deserts get less debuffs -Snow lowers damage resistance (cuz frostbite) -Wasteland naturally healing, damage resistance and less debuffs (cuz the Radation) Weather effects harm you alot more and work as a %. Even with good gear eventually you will need to rest from the weather. Along with the defects Critical damage effects from weather. -Frozebite: lowers your damage resistance and lower max hp by 10 and slows you down and your attack speed. . Cure: rest near campfire. Temp cure. Soups and stews. -Heatstroke: increase stamina useage, lowers damage resistance and blurs vision Cuts stamina by 10 And puking (lost of food and water) Cure: shade and cool drinks. -Radation sickness: Lowers your max hp and stamina but % of your Radation. Tiers of it add worst effects like -lowers movement speed, lower DR, Less damage, puking (losing food and water). Cure: rest outside of rads, go inside. And anti rad pills. -Water: most water has Radation. So Don't be swimming around in that nasty stuff. -Rain storms increase spawns of zombies and thunder storms they treat it like its night (so all zombies run) Fog: increase zombie spawns but also wildlife spawns. Spider and screamer zombies spawn in the fog. -Blood fog: fog that's a bloody color! Acts like a mini blood moon. And spawns zombies around you. They move the same as whatever time it is tho. So at the Day! They walk. Night they run! -Radioactive rain storm: rain with a light green tint. Adds a small amount of rads and heals zombies! -Dust storms: wear good gear and you will be safe! If not the wind will hurt you a little and weaken you. Found in the desert and Wasteland. Drinkable Water: some what you find is both Radioactive and dirty. The only cure in a cem bench and anti Radation drugs. If you uses the water filter. You get clean water but still get rads. Some food like rotten meat have hints of Radation Anti rad meds: -Normal removes rad but also removes food and water! 4sheetzngeegles
Adam you are about to stir up some "". But I see the potential, if it is smooth this time. Before it was just angry. If the cities were set on a 3d terrain , it could use the altitude for shifts. On a flat terrain, it may be harder. I think they are testing new mechanics to reincorporate it now per biome.

Adam the Waster
After @faatalmade a post about weather I wanted to add on to make biomes special Pine forest: aka the forest now -thorny bush's, wild crops, cactus and has the most diverse animal spawn, with almost every animal (coyotes, wolfs, bears, cougars, deer, pigs etc) -more diversity in plant life like birch trees colorful plants in a few dead trees and logs on the ground. -crawlers and lumberjacks have chances of spawning in the wild -flat grassland areas have dry grass and small trees like the plans -night has a small chance to spawn feral spider zombies Burnt forest: -Feral crawlers will spawn along with -Burnt zombies are stronger and have natural damage resistance due to the burntness. Acting as a shell Few new zombies. -Hell hound: a zombie dog that's on fire! Even faster then normal zombie dog -Burning zombie: (different from burnt ferals) always on fire and runs a tier higher then the base setting (so if you set them to sprint they will run at nightmare speed) they will deal bonus structure damage and instantly set you on fire -Fallen firefighter: a fallen first Responder! Armored has a gas tank if you hit it it will explode into a firey blaze. Had the same hp as a lumberjack but had 20 armor and is immune to fire, and electricity. Biome itself: -hotter then forest and embers are much more active Now so keep your boots on -Slag piles, piles of melted Slag has a chance to harvest brass, forged Iron and raw iron. Even valuable minerals like silver -Burning coals underground so mining underground could be dangerous -More hostile wildlife including zombie dogs and hell hounds. Desert: -Dust storms that lowers your vision and if your naked it started hurting you. -lighting storms! Just increase zombie spawns and can turn off your generator Has a chance to strike on the ground -Colder at night and even hotter now -wolfs can spawn but large packs of coyotes can spawn now. Like 6 at at time. -zombie dogs and very rarely direwolfs can spawn -more plant life like more colorful plants and desert trees! -Clay soil Layer deep under the ground and clay nodes -more hills and cliffs -water from the dew collector is slower -bleached sky look -crops take longer to grow New zombies -Dried husk: human beef jerky! Is immune to bleed and guns deals damage to them. They can come from anywhere in the desert. They live under the sand and will rise from anywhere. -bloated Boil: a zombie that's ready to pop at any moment! He will walk up to you and explode like a creeper from minecraft Snow: -Bizzards and snow storms are even harsher -darker sky normal -hail can deal damage to you and your vehicle -Sleak makes driving even harder -more wolf packs and bears are more common -right when you enter you drop too the 40s near instantly -zombie dogs, vultures and direwolfs can spawn. Rarely zombie bears -Crops needs to be indoors or else they die. -water from the dew collector can freeze and you need to melt it. -Zombies take 20% less damage due to frostbite New zombies: -Frozen husk: a harden zombie light Frame but harden shell. Had 30 armor but it's slowed but hits like a truck. -Frozen zombie dog: a zombie dog with armor! Yeaaahhhh Wasteland: -Radation!!! -all zombies heal slowly due to the Radation -zombies take 10% less damage and deal 10% more -all zombie animals -Nearly all zombies spawn in the wild aside from the Frozen ones -junk nodes: piles of junk to harvest that can have nearly everything!!! -car parts, junk, fridges, wooden debris, even more Rubble just laying around -puddles of Radation laying around -no plants grow here -dew collector gets irradiated New zombies: Plauge hound: Zombie dogs that emits toxic gases and can spit Radatioavtive zombie dogs: need I say more Feral mutant, a jack of all trades zombie. Can run. Cut through armor, spit, jump high. What more do you want Glowing husk: a zombie that absorbed so much radiation he admits it to heal his allies and even bring them back from the dead.
