How do I fix my drone from giving me errors with the medic mod?

Version: Alpha 21.1 Stable
Error: ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.

When I shut down my game, it doesn't go to the menu, instead it stops the game, plays the menu music, then continues to have the game in a frozen in-game but in menu state. The world is moving but you are unable to do anything but press F1. I have to use task manager to shut down my game because the game freaks out for literally no reason. I tried to take out the medkits, but when I rebooted it just duplicated the medkits by putting a new set in the drone.

What do I have to do to properly shut down my game without risking corruption? All my friend and I did was put the medic mod on the drone and put medkits and first aid bandages in them and now my server freaks out for literally no reason. This happens EVERY single time I log out. I do not have installed mods, this is just the vanilla game.
