NO TRADER when using New Random World generation

Hi, a pretty common problem I think;

When using the ingame World Generator tools, 99% of the time my world generates with no trader.

For example a world I just created was using the Advanced Generation facility was a world size of 2048 which automatically gives me the 'title' of Old Honihebu County.  I generate a world, go to New Game and choose the game world Old Honihebu County (world size 2048x2048 so the one I've just created), do the quests but the last one doesnt give a location but shows NO TRADER.

I've tested this with different size worlds and its always the same result so far, what am I doing wrong?

What version are you using?  A20.6 is suppose to remove the issue of a trader not being located for that quest if they are not in a nearby forest biome.

Also, you stating that you don't have traders, but only going by the last starter quest that points you to a nearby trader.  Have you checked to verify that you in fact don't have a trader spawned in?  You might have traders, they might be located in biomes where they are filtered out for that quest.  Check your generated world file as it will tell you quickly if you have traders in that world.

thanks for the reply, I'm running the current version from Steam; A20.6

How do I access the world file to check if traders exist, where is it stored?

%appdata%/7daystodie/generatedworlds/WORLD_NAME

prefabs.txt

Or, dm and then tppoi in the console and search for trader

 I dont see that folder location, my 7DTD is saved to D:\Games\steamapps\common\7 Days To Die, I've searched that folder and its sub folders for prefabs.txt and it doesnt exist :(

I couldn't reproduce this issue creating the same world.

It's not in that folder. It's in %Appdata%\7DaysToDie as previously mentioned.

Press the Windows+R key and enter the folder for it to open. It's a hidden folder so

you wouldn't see it or find it in a search.

Alternatively, press F1, type dm in the console window. Press ESC twice, press "Open POI Teleporter", type "trader" in the search box, double click the trader to travel to him.
