SpencerXZX
Hi, Just here to report a bug, when setting texture quality to full in the native linux client, the game becomes unresponsive and has to be force closed. I was able to adjust the settings to ultra and then turn the texture quality back to half to allow me to improve the graphics a bit. This is using the Vulkan shaders and Alpha 19.6 b8. My system specs are below: OS: Pop!_OS 21.04 x86_64 Kernel: 5.13.12-051312-generic Resolution: 2560x1440 144hz CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X (24) @ 3.700GH GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER Memory: 32023MiB Thanks, let me know if this is a known issue with a workaround, the game runs great but it would look so much better with full textures, and OpenGL runs awfully. meganoth
I use vulkan on ubuntu20.04 with an AMD graphics card and full textures work, though I have other stuff on medium only or turned off (like bloom and shadows). It might be that full textures on nvidia cards only have problems, hopefully someone with that combination and using linux can enlighten us
SpencerXZX
Thanks for that info, I suppose I should throw in the information that I am running Nvidia driver version 470.57.02. Somehow I missed the giant banner that says bug reports at the top of the forum, so I also posted this on the bug report forum here:
meganoth
You might also want to read the information behind the links on the top of the page. It tells you which information to provide, especially the logfile is important when the game crashes or hangs

GLCore is unplayable, terrible fps. I'm just reporting a Vulkan bug so hopefully it can be supported in the future.

WiseTime
Run it in GL Core, change ONLY the texture size settings, then exit, then run in Vulkan. This worked for me.
