Distance rendering

On my server, my players and I notice that the distance doesn't render far, instead it renders a cliff untill you get close to it then it flattens out. Its very unimersive, it doesn't matter what my disatance is set at on the client it still renders a mountain straight up until I get close enough to where it flattens out. Any ideas?

That cliff means, that the world files on the client (used to render distant terrain) are different from the world files used by the server to create the local region files.

The game will mix together two worlds basically. So somewhere there is a conflict in the world files. (sharing the same name, wrong configuration, copied over old region files, or whatever the cause of that is)

 

I tested a 12k world in singleplayer, and it worked just fine. So the game can handle those "unusual" sizes.

I have the same issue on a linux machine dedicated server. recreated map with same issue.

Do all the clients see it? Did they delete their old worlds?

 

All clients sees this. And some of them has also removed any filer related to the server and its still the same.

Will try to recreate the map on my Gaming rig and move to the server.

Same problem here... have try to clean game data on both client and server . I also erease every map files on the server to regen it... still having those ''redering square zone'' that move with me. all this by a fresh and clean re instal off the dedicated server tool from steam. I really dont understand and need help PLZ.
