About the rabbit attack thing: I'll pass. I can barely stand to shoot one in game now because of the scream they make. Killing a bunch at once doesn't make it better. Proof:

I can go without crops and survive just fine too. My experience with the new farming just isn't that frustrating to me. Every time changes come around I adapt. I prefer that method to any others.

I think they already stated that this is not a farming simulator. And this probably means there won't be complicated mechanisms that mirror reality. There aren't either for mining (where is the air pump?), lockpicking or cooking.
And I don't see a reason for removing it. Ignore it if you want, that is the equivalent of removal.
Let's carry the logic of "it's not realistic" out to conclusion taking mining. If a person were to just take an auger and go to town on a hillside or a pit in the real world they'd quickly find out that they're getting more volume of material than they are cutting out. This is referred to "swell". If you aren't carting off the excess you're basically burying yourself.

I've found two Q6 ones so far. Both of them from looting cars.

What? No mention of going out for an acid trip?
SpoilerIt was college 1999. The snow was falling and me and my buddies had just dropped 2 hits each. We decided that while we waited we'd walk down to the Sheetz station and grab some sandwiches. We were poor college kids and back then Sheetz policy was you could order food before you paid for it. It took us so long in the store that the snow that was falling had piled up and somehow my dumb friend Tom had lost his shoes so we wrapped his feet in sandwich paper and walked back. It snowed 16" the first hour that night and the whole town was out sleigh riding in the streets or racing their 4x4s.
I either had a good run of luck or loot stage 50 is some sort of breaking point. I found 6 sewing kits and 4 acid just doing my normal trash diving.

Breaking a perfectly good loot container just doesn't seem right to me. Especially for a small chance at getting an acid. The loot respawns eventually. I'm more concerned with sewing kits anyway. I can't make any iron or steel armor because I can't find the damn things.

Awesome, thank you. So I'm not crazy I'm just having bad luck. Situation normal.

I've been checking garbage the entire time. My observations are that they've added a bunch of building materials to the garbage loot and removed other stuff so it seems like its changed to me. I'm not big on diving into xml files for the loot lists so maybe someone can do a little confirming?

I'm having the same luck with sewing kits. Only found 3 in 40 days.

Did you undermine your support column when you dug a block out? Dirt blocks are....weird when it comes to adjusting the terrain on removal.

Ah yes TES:Oblivion. Where you could put a basket over an innkeeper's head and sneak aroudn them in circles for 30 mins to max your sneak skill. I also blame that game for everyone's habit of bunny-hopping through games. LBD is not a good system. As stated it just leads to grinding skills or lagging behind.

I work in highway construction and I can assure you that the USDOT does not consider unobserved concrete to be curing.

Not enough info. What are your exp and loot multipliers?

I've had better luck searching the ambulances. Have a bunch of medical supplies already.

I started about 200m away from a Trader Bob on a new A20 map. Loving the new world generation. The roads have ditches and culverts now! Didn't get much done my first day except the tutorial quest and setting up a hunker bunker for my first night. Did manage to find a cooking grill though which was nice. Spent too much time playing with the world gen so I'll be able to put in more days this evening. Pipe weapons look nice and I can't wait to get my hands on a lever action.

I usually take a rank or two of Treasure Hunter early on. The treasure hunt quests disappear from the lists eventually but early game you can unearth quite a bit of them and they respawn their contents like anything else. I can mark the locations of all of them and keep coming back to them way after I respec out of the perk. It's not useless it just loses its usefulness fairly early.

No guarantees on it I'm afraid.

It's still a survival game. You engage with the environment as much as you engage with zombies. You have food, water and other basic needs and can build shelters. Still qualifies in my opinion. Most survival games I've played have some sort of character progressions system.

I'm fairly sure the laws for things like this say you don't need Applebee's permission to write a song about Applebee's. Now if you name your band Applebee's and open a restaurant named after your band you're probably in legal trouble.
Also gonna leave this here:

What gamestage do I need to reach in order for Steel Tools recipe start to spawn in loot containers?
No idea. Somewhere around 40 from my experience but everyone's mileage is a bit dfferent.
Ok, 49. Thanks @BFT2020

You can put points into the perks that will unlock the recipes through the Int trees. Advanced Engineering but you need level 5 to unlock the crucible. For steel tools you need to find or buy the recipe.

You guys should try Escape From Tarkov. There if you eject a magazine the wrong way it drops on the ground.

Not a big deal to me. Don't watch Twitch or streamers but I can understand why they get previews of releases. It's an industry and the industry works a certain way now.

Technically, we do have zombie cyborgs. They have bombs implanted in their chests.

I've thousands of hours in Fallout76 and as far as I'm concerned as of A20 we've gotten one of the best features from it.
