    I have been thinking of doing this as A21 is the most boring version of 7DTD I have played since its release. They have made farming, crafting irrelivant and many of the perk lines now make no real sense. level 60 you can now make level 4 bone knife 'whoo hoo' the learn by reading is garbage and the lighting even though it was supposed to be fixed in the stable release is definatly not sunrise 21.56 and pitch black at 10am. The spawning is also a major point of my disgust at this version with zombies spawning out of thin air and pois you have to stand in the middle of a trap to get Zombies to spawn to complete clear missions as least you can by pass this BS.

    I have been playing the game for 6 years its its never been balanced its become more unbalanced with each Alpha the performance has improved the graphics have improved the game play has not thankfully the modders have saved it and I look forward to seeing how they redress the poor decision made by TFP.

    You have burnt meat until you find enough cook books to make grilled meat which is dependent on how many cupboards you can loot. My 1st 2 attempts both had same start point had very few cupboards. But the mountain of food I had by the time I was lvl 30 on my 3rd attempt was 16 meat stew 15 blueberry pie 9 spaghetti (loot from lvl 5) 7 hot dogs and various canned food. I have 20 meat stew and 15 blueberry cooking but it takes days for that much.

    The water changes so confuse me we now have fluid water a big change and selling point in A21 but now we don't use it for anything. The whole water changes are pointless like the farming changes in A20 its just a tedious task we now have to perform. I have a level 30 avatar and in my storage I have 100 spare water and cooked food for weeks and ingredients for months I only have 3 dew collectors but I do have 100k in dukes so could build a dew farm of 50000 dew collectors, I would need a lot of storage. The change only really impacts the first couple of days that in my opinion where already tough enough. As for crafting its the final nail in the coffin as the mags lag so far behind the game stage, I just looted a level 5 secure box and got you now craft a level 4 wooden club whoopee. p.s I do not stop back to back trader missions no shortage of looting.

    Most of the learning groups are irrelevant as perks add the relevant skills to weapons and the mags are for crafting only and as loot and rewards out level crafting skills its mute. Except for work bench's and vehicles so the loot skills system controls the progress of the game slowing it down or in my experience making it stagnant. All that it really done is make the game much slower and much much harder for the 1st 3days or so where you can cook anything until you find enough recipes to make basic food. My 1st 2 attempt where on Navesgane and the trader was in the middle of nowhere and without access to a town I starved before I could find enough recipe to cook the mountain of food I had.

    Even without daring Adventurer the crafting is pointless I have lv 6smg 2 lvl5 AR's lvl5 bow 2 full sets of military armour and so on no point crafting anything except a bike but no bike and all I have done is trader missions so its should be levelled up to sell me one. Typical ill thought out dumb idea same as the farming and the water Jars so now they finally have fluid water but we can not use for anything anymore!.

    I have looted every auto related POI I can find so I have a bicycle I have looked for them another towns and traders but no auto mags for sale or motorbikes. That's one of the problems with the learn by reading depending on what poi's are located in your area fix's the skills you can develop.

    I had hoped for a return of crafting but its even more redundant then A20 the learn by reading is pointless, its so far behind the player level you can buy loot, or get as reward items much greater then you can craft. It also makes the perk system less relevant taking away some sense on control of player development, I am level 40 and still stuck on bicycle I am finding A21 really boring to play.

    There is a MOD to replace the jar system its a ill thought out idea it is only a problem at the start the A21 is dull as dish water.

Seen as you are going to be very busy with A21 its bad timing to bother, sorry.

    hi Kaine I have been trying to join Discord but there is no emote to click on I read the rules and the faq looked every where I could but can not find it, the tick emote.

    I found a small bug you may already know, when you craft using the broadcast upgrade if you have the items in your inventory it takes from both the container and the inventory, easy fix I know turn of the broadcast or empty the inventory into the container but I forget.

    I finally worked out what I was doing wrong with the broadcast upgrade apart from not noticing the switch I was trying to upgrade using the actual broadcast upgrade and not using the the upgrade tool Doh! Thanks Brevan I got the mysterious door at Doc's lair to open, if you click on it show's you what you need.

    Thanks for the clarity on the tech Bio perk makes perfect sense and explains the NA suffix which had me confused. I still can not get the broadcast upgrade to work I have tried on three different games one I got the box's to upgrade but not connect to work stations on the other two I have the walkie talking in my tool bar but right click, left click nothing happens no options so not sure how I turn it on. Sorry to bother you sure you have better stuff to do. I will start a new game with a fresh install as I got some errors at the start when I loaded one of the old saves. Great mod much appreciated.

    I tried to join Darkness falls discord but I could not find the tick emote. I am also having a problem with broadcast upgrade its not working, I am playing v4.1.2-dev-b4, on one game I got the fridge and writable storage to upgrade but they where not connected to the stations on my current game they wont upgrade at all. The Transhuman and Accelerated healing are not working I finally got some demon essence made the shot but nothing happened at lvl 115 with technology crafting 3 unlocked.

    I think you need to have a lot of grass to make it without a tailor station I had the same problem took me a while to work it out I made one piece then got stuck its abit confusing but if you cut grass you get a option to make it in your inventory.

    Thanks Brevan I have already down loaded the new Dev build but not installed it yet need to put my thinking cap on and work out how to do it. I tried the edit option Canute but I could not get it to work when I press G and space I just jumped up and down not sure why may be its because I remapped some of the keys I will defiantly spend some time looking into it, it it looks fun designing or redesigning maps.

    Finally fail I reached the 3rd floor of the bunker and it was bugged when I stepped on it I fell through landing back out side with a some fall damage second time it just teleported back to outside. I tried a bit of sorcery and floated across the floor to the red door but it would not open even though it excepted the red key card. It looked wrong with the floor being covered with rubble (see screen shot) It's a shame I was the most well prepared adventurer 4k Coil AP7.62 14 box's AP7.62 for the M4 800 coil shotgun and enough rockets and grenades to invade Cuba. I gifted myself a laser bench and will continue to enjoy this awesome map (DF medium2) and awesome mod..

    Been Playing DF for about a week now absolutely brilliant you fixed all the things that really annoyed me in vanilla and more so big thanks to Khaine et al for this treasure. Two things: coils rounds come in boxs of 50 stacks of 10 and loose they stack in 500, the boxs seem a bit pointless. Second one I just tried the Reward mission WOW I need more ammo and med packs I only got to the second door and had to beat a retreat but because its under ground 2 screamers joined the foray I did escape but it makes the subterranean POI's a bit more of a challenge. Success returned and this time worked out the spawn point absolutely fabulous did it with a 100 rounds instead of a 1000

    So I am playing DF and have some planters set up and some tilled ground I have mushrooms on planters tilled ground and normal ground but nothing grows except an Apple tree which I have harvested twice while my other plants stay a seeds. I do not have LOL perk yet but I thought the plants should still grow they have in the past . Does anyone have any idea why or what is stopping them?

    Well I did something silly accidently started my Darkness falls game in Vanilla now when I start it in DF I am dead and it will not respawn. Does anyone know how to get it back up and running?

    I have been playing 7DTD for quiet a while (2000 hours or more) and it has improved greatly in the quality of the world and the AI but poor shot recognition is a very common bug when the Zombie gets a ephemeral incorporate body and your attacks go straight through it. It usually is just one or two shots that pass through it but I have had instances where it is just invulnerable. One case in point was on a blood moon and a demolition zombie managed to explode, I always have the M60 ready for them and let loose with 120 round magazine and it just ran up and "boom". I would say that about 5% of shots fail to register, are there any improvements planned?

    Some sound effects are really good but then some just do not match the event, case in point the 4x4 with the big V8 sound effect and golf buggy acceleration, the 9mm sounds dreadful like its going to fall apart or its made of tin. My main problem with the sound is I keep getting sound lag it may be because I have vehicle mod running and it seems to be more prevalent when I drive some where.
