    I have it set so that NPC's only have a chance to spawn every 55 game days. So once they die off they will become rare.

    @Crazyjelloo- Basic*= Simple and not complicated, so able to provide the base or starting point from which something can develop @Aksimetrium- No 2 hour days is too easy @Akihiro- The bandits will be the ones cussing at you and trying to kill you @ caatalyst- Bandits have very little health and die easy. Only the wandering Trader is invulnerable.

    Update: All reported bugs fixed. If you find a bug still happening please report it Added basic Bandits and NPC's to all biomes Added wandering Trader Added more new 3d Models Cut the amount of XP needed for Player levels by 1/2 for testing. There is a lot of polishing still to do(icons,descriptions and so on) but the core True Survival Mod is updated to A16. We will do another week or 2 of a End Game Test Play and finish any balancing off. All goes well the mod would be ready for release after that. NEW MAP IS UP! DAY1!
  7. The error says the problem is in block id 700. Thats not used in vanilla so you must have a modded block there. Could you post your code for block #700?

    @caatalyst- You bet the Test Server will stay up because I am tryn not to play the mod too much in development because I haven't had a good long game of 7d2d since A14 probably and TS A16 is looking so sweet I'm definitely going to want to settle into a play through and build a base with all the new powered stuff. The crafting lag when using the text search is a vanilla problem. When they changed it so the player could search for any recipe on any crafting window they never updated their code that parses the recipe list, mostly because this doesn't effect the vanilla game much as they seem to want to limit the recipe and item count in game(the droolers get confused easily). But when you play any 7d2d mod that has added any descent amount or recipes you will have this. Now TS and TS only has for the most part eliminated all other crafting inventory lag. Hop on any other heavy recipe mod and try and even open your inventory when running and you will freeze for a good few seconds and most likely die. Before Jeo left us he showed us how to do this and Xyth has figured it out and now maintains some of Jeo's .dll tweaks for eliminating most of the refreshes the vanilla game does for a bunch of actions in the crafting screen like smelting, moving a item in inventory or clicking on recipes. Where vanilla parses the entire recipe file every time one of those actions happens TS does not. I never turn down free mod help! Yes we would love a "Sound Guy". I'm not much for telling others what to do, this isn't a paid job after all, so just let me know what you can/want to do and we can go from there. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Speaking of Mod help! I'm putting a call out for POI modders, well mostly editors at this point. What I need to do is edit nearly all the current POI's in the Mod by adding a ton of sleeper spawn points. I have a idea to try and make the Sleeper Spawning better. Besides the problem of not being able to pull zombies out of a poi to kill them(nothing I can do about this one) the other main Sleeper problem I see is the constant zombies spawning in the same room you just cleared. Sometimes after you kill one sleeper another will spawn right in front of you right in the same spot. I'm thinking the problem is for example you will have 20 sleeper zombies supposed to spawn in a poi but only 8 sleeper spawn points. So after one moves from the spawn point or you kill it another will spawn in the same spawn point until it spawns the whole amount of 20 Sleepers. So what I want to try is adding a bunch more sleeper spawn points so that all the sleeper zombies that are supposed to spawn in the POI can spawn all at once at the start. So a player could judge somewhat by looking through a window or door how many zombies where inside, of course some are hidden out of sight but you get my point. So if anyone knows how to use the POI editors and is interested in helping let us know.

    Hay peps sorry I haven't been on much this week kinda busy with some life stuff. I should be back to modding near the end of the week to do another big update. After that if all goes well we will do one more Test Play of end game mechanics for a week or 2. Thanks for all the feed back and bug reports I'll get to them soon.

    @Deven- I try to make it so there is no one path you must take to survive. Just try and survive the day. Do what ever needs doing to survive the next few game hours. And dont feel bad, running away screaming like a little girl is a legitimate play style in this mod and is sometimes the only way to survive. Spend your points on whatever will help you immediately stay alive in your current situation. Remember if you get any Bad Diet Buffs you will not be able to gain Wellness from any foods or drinks. So its important to stay healthy, no living on corn bread and can foods for long or it will hurt you. Learn the new food system and what foods break down to what servings. Also this isn't a shootem up style mod, this is a more semi-realistic "life's a bitch then you die" Walking Dead Style Mod. So don't think your Rambo and can take on 5 zombies with a level 10 wooden bow 5 arrows and your first wooden club, you'll get eaten alive. @naxter60- Good bug catches all get them in the next update. Thanks @Darkstardragon- Ya where is Unlikem? He is usually first one on for testing. I wonder where he is that's very un like him. (had to lol)

    *If you are going to be a tester please make sure to read any Mod changes* From the Update post above your post- "-Added first part of new Trader System. The Barter System. The Vending Machines at the Traders are now a workstation and you can use it to barter items for other items. Please let me know any suggestions for barter trades that would be good." I checked these and they all worked properly. If you are having problem getting one to work I need more info than 1 of 50 is not working I need the name of the item you are having problems with to do any real bug fixing. If it was done that way before the 7th night horde on day 7 nearly everyone playing the Mod would be at max skill level. When developing new game play systems you cant make it just for your style of game play. You cant make it for just your teams style of game play. You have to design the game so that EVERYONE'S style of game play is still playable, fun and challenging. While your idea may sound good for your style of game play I assure you there are other players that will have gathered enough of the required resources to level everyone playing on the server in a few hours. Also the Farming quest is designed so you have to do the work and finish it and it will not allow others to do your work for you.

    The method I am using is the only way I know to reward a skill point to specific Perk without leaving any available exploits(besides duping of course). If anyone knows of another way I'd be excited to hear it. P.S. All requested player resets are done also

    I'm sorry this mod is designed for experienced 7D2D players. The quest rewarding system is a vanilla game mechanic I would not expect to have to explain to the player. Any quest that rewards an item works that way. Also if your bag is full it drops it on the ground at your feet fyi. I can try and add some text to some quest like that but I try and use the limited text space I have to explain changes to the mod not vanilla features

    Update: -Added more Icons -Started fixing item descriptions -Added first part of new Trader System. The Barter System. The Vending Machines at the Traders are now a workstation and you can use it to barter items for other items. Please let me know any suggestions for barter trades that would be good. -Re adjusted Protein weights. -Brain Matter, Baby Chickens and Hens can now all be broken down into Protein Servings. -Like Wheat for some Protein items you will need more than one to make a Protein Serving and like always the Food Prep Table breaks down foods more efficiently. -Turned down dismemberment on Bone Shiv -Changed Concrete Sledge to be crafted on the Anvil and can be used to make a Sledge Hammer Head Mold -Fixed Torches not giving off light and warmth when placed. They need fuel when placed again. Lowered Heat Map effect by half -Removed some un needed recipes -Made all POI light Player Powered Lights so they are off but can have power ran to them to turn them on. -Fixed all "For Dummies" Books, they now give 350xp per use toward their listed skill -"For Dummies" books can now also be scraped into "Skill Paper". Craft 10 Skill Papers into a Profession Page on the Research Desk -Fixed Steel Munition Crates to be "Steel" material -Fixed Stimulant Shots to also give the +1 Wellness on use like the pills -Increased hunger effect on "Stoned" buff -Added Methane Bomb Perk to the Trap category -Added Animal Traps/Pets Perk to Trap category -Added Iron Spikes Perk that can be upgraded to steel to the Trap Category -Added Field Knife Perk -First batch of Xyths new 3d Meshes are in! We have a new plantable Potato Plant, a Fern and Caladium for biome decoration, a new hand mesh for "Old Axe", a new Anvil and a new Propane Tank for the Methane Bombs. More to come! -And more stuff I cant remember

    @Dracos99- Done @father123- Thanks, ya there was a bug and you were not getting the wellness from them. Be aware that you do not get wellness from foods if you have any negative diet effects and you only gain health from foods if you have any positive diet buffs. Update: The "For Dummies" books found in loot that give XP to a specific crafting skill can now be scraped into "Skill Paper". Collect 10 Skill Papers and a Ink Pen to craft a Profession Page on a Research Desk Added Methane Bomb Perk Methane Bombs look like white Propane Gas Tanks and can be filled in the Methane Gas Producer. Once full they can be placed as blocks with base defenses and can be shot causing a explosion in a large area. This explosion does a lot of zombie damage but no block damage. So they can be used freely without damaging other zombie defenses Lots of other bug fixes

    @Rickachae- Whats a budgies? "their nicely over powered but need way less HP for sure" Are you saying the Infected Chickens that do 1 damage and have 50 hp are over powered? The zombies hitting from a un reasonable distance is a known bug with the vanilla game that has something to do with Server latency. Nothing I can do about it complain to TFP to give the MP game some love. That link goes no where. I have no idea at all what you are trying to say in this next paragraph. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- @caatalyst- I have had this reported a few times and it seems to be linked to a player dieing a lot in a short time and their max wellness getting real low. Its also usually the case when this happens the player with the problem is invisible to everyone else including zombies. Whenever this happens I ask the player to relog and it fixes its self. So I would suggest 2 things. One!, stop dieing so much and two if you run into this problem relog. If you find a zombie that you think is moving to fast the only way for me to look into it is for you to kill the zombie and get its name. I have over 200 zombies and without its name I cant help. Infected Chickens, Rabbits and Vultures do barley any damage at all 1 - 2 damage max per hit. They are there to scary you not kill you(sounds like its working). You should only see ferals on Bloodmoon nights. That glowing cop at night is just a normal Cop with a cooler looking skin. Please remember that the very first information about the mod you are given is in the intro and states- "Forget what you know about 7 Days to Die it will not help you here. Approach this Mod from a fresh perspective or you will surely be eaten by the horde or surcome to the elements" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- @Vormithrax- Ya a few alphas back they made all the grass taller and lowered our view a few inches. Everyone complains about it but you get used to it.

    @D3X_87- Yes I think you missed this part "To join the Test Server-". The download is for a client portion of the mod only and can not be used to run a SP or Server, The mod is not out for SP/MP yet. It is only available for test playing on the test server until the mod is finished . At that time it will be released for SP/ MP/ Servers
