  1. No idea. It's working fine for me. My guess is maybe something to do with stamina since you're aiming and your stamina is 0.
  2. I am completely sure. I re-wrote a huge chunk of the back-end for the mod to make it easier for me to keep up to date going forward. I also re-generated the included worlds. So I strongly advise making a copy so you can continue playing without issues once 19.3 drops.
  3. 1) Not currently working. POSSIBLY fixed in 19.3 (difficult for me to test but the code looks right). 2) DEFINITELY not intended. Will fix. 3) Yes you will. 1) Yep. 2) Yes they are a thing. Scientist Mastery. Then stop power attacking or aiming with weapons when you have a broken/sprained arm. Or get a cast. The Guard Captain often sells them. You can deal with it if you actually stop and think. 😛 Also, the splinted/cast buffs get rid of sprained/broken and DON'T get worse if you then to continue to play normally. Personally I keep a shotgun of some kind on me at all times for this. Broken arm? Bust out the shotgun and just blast. Don't need to aim. Don't need to power attack. Often stuns zombies.
  4. I personally use either a wired MadCats 360 controller or just the controller off my Xbox One. Works fine wired in with USB (the newer versions apparently have bluetooth). The game has just been doing that since A19. Seems to be worser the larger your map is. I've regenerated all mine in 19.3 and 8k is pretty much fine, 10k isn't bad, 12k is... ok... 16k is kinda like that out in the wilderness (but roads are ok for some reason)
  5. Yes it does. But it's an older version. 19.3 version of DF is getting compo pack updated to v46.
  6. In single player, it's a menu option. On servers, it's an option in serverconfig.xml. 100 seems to be a good mix between performance and having more zombies. It's usually not too bad. Anything above 150 tends to get laggy.
  7. I need to check this more often. According to TFP... it should not be needed. It DOES work, but yeah.
  8. You can just edit the XML to add a 7 day option. And no. DF and Romero likely will not be getting combined. The point of Romero Mod is to try and make it more "classic zombie" without all of DF's features so folks can modlet the ever loving hell out of it... Rather than trying to do that to DF where it won't work 95% of the time.

I mean... my response is gonna be "Then don't use a controller" because I think using a controller on a PC game that isn't a twin-stick shooter, flight sim, fighting game or driving game is just asking for trouble. And if you absolutely HAVE to, use an XBox one because it's natively supported by Windows. PS4 isn't.

  11. Nope. I know it works fine for me in SP and it works fine for other folks on servers. I would honestly just reinstall at this point because something is clearly messed up.
  12. I honestly don't know. I do warn folks that use of modlets with DF is not recommended OR supported... I mean, it looks right... but I have no idea. My GUESS is you'd need to increase zombie limit.
  13. Without looking at the log, I honestly don't know. But she just right-clicks my name in steam and selects "join game" and that's it.

  15. Increase max zombie count on the server. It's 60 by default. I usually run 100. You can also increase max animal spawn, which might help. Thats 50 at default but I usually leave that alone. As for folks having issues installing the server, it depends ENTIRELY on your host. A lot dont allow uploading of DLL's so you need to ask them to install it for you.
  16. To be fair, the super fast speed was the bug, because i'm currently trying to fix it. It was something like advanced engineering + nerdy glasses broke it.
  17. Then find me a "tool" that works in vanilla with it. Because as far as I know, none do. You have to use your hands. Depends on your class. Laborer gets forge speed reduction in advanced engineering.
  18. Vanilla hasn't had "pick up with E" since A16. Which didn't have LOTL.
  19. Pretty sure the tool thing is vanilla localization. And yes, stuff you plant is "crops." Stuff you pick up with E running around is "wild plants."
  20. Post in there and ask one of the mods to reset you. Huh, it worked for me. Will have to look into it. I think you have to add the launcher version of the game to steam. But I will always, always, always recommend either using keyboard and mouse (because it's way better for this game) or an xbox controller (because it's natively supported by windows) Then that's a localization error. You need level 5 to get additional crops from wild plants.
  21. Need to have level 5. <passive_effect name="HarvestCount" operation="perc_add" value="1" level="5" tags="wildCropsHarvest"/> If it doesn't work, i'm not gonna lose sleep over it, because that's how it's coded in vanilla so I expected it to... y'know... work.
  22. No and Yes. Clock being disabled is INTENDED for this mod. Get used to it. You can see the time on the trader, on vending machines, on the radio that the survivalist makes or find/make a watch and add it to your gloves as a mod (time will then show in the bottom left as a buff). XP being off is so you dont just watch for the XP numbers to see when a zombie is dead. I strongly recommend not tweaking stuff that I intend to be the default and actually playing the mod as-is. It's not supposed to be easy, or hand-holdy, or have crap from vanilla that makes meta-gaming easier. Dre already answered, but turn off EAC>
  23. I usually let traps do most of the work. Players are too "I NEED ALL THE XP!". That doesn't work well for DF because you just make it harder for yourself. Depends what you want to change. Pretty sure it's spawning.xml for biome spawns.

But for anyone else, trader training options only show if you have enough dukes in your inventory. Max price is 100k. That's a vanilla thing. I'm still not sure wtf is going on with those boulders. The CODE is right, it's just.... ignoring it.
  25. Redbeard made a quality of life mod for Vanilla 7DTD. It works fine on DF, so it'll be included for the next version. I'm not sure where the forum thread is, but it is listed here: https://7daystodiemods.com/active-ingredients/ It DOES work on the current, public version of DF. You only need to copy the Mods folder, not the 7DaystoDie_Data folder.
