  1. This threw me off as well at first. Maybe this could somehow be made a little more clear in the descriptions of the skills? Unless we just failed to read, I'm unsure what it says on the skills actually.
  2. I have had no problems at all with the latest version, nor with the mod launcher. I did the following: 1) Fired up mod launcher 2) Let mod launcher update itself to latest version. 3) Noticed that Ravenhearst mod has as new folder in the mod launcher 4) Deleted the old "Dawn of the new apocalypse" folder in my local file system, since I figured Ravenhearst will be installed under a new "Ravenhearst" folder from now on. 4) Selected Ravenhearst 7 day horse version from the launcher and installed it. Doesnt take super long. 5) Once ready, push play. Takes a LONG time to download the files and launching you into the game. 6) Deleted my old Ravenhearst save game. 7) Started fresh Ravenhearst game 8) Enjoying Ravehearst.
  3. Everyone else is using the launcher without problems. Maybe you used the "simple" version for mod installs? That would add new mods on top of the same install which would break everything if you install more than one mod. The launcher is the best thing that ever happened to my 7 DTD life. Now I can play as many mods as I like without the hassle. BTW, Jax? What are the requirements for crafting the Iron Reinforced club? I'm blunt class, level 2, and have level 1 primitive crafting and level 1 blunt crafting. Still don't have the recipe for the Iron Reinforced club. I have all the ingredients but... yeah. Can't progress the blunt quest, so hoping it unlocks eventually. It worked the other day in my other playthrough, but I may have been level 5 then.
  4. Question: Is it just me, or is twine kinda hard to get compared to the amount that you need for various things? It's so common in recipies that I first thought it must be craftable somehow, but I don't see a recipe for it. If it's loot only, where are good places to find it? Other than this, and still being scared to death at nights because I now have several of those whispering white monsters outside my base, I love the mod. I especially love how you can scrap weapon parts. Looking forward to build something cool once I get the equipment for it.
  5. JaxTeller, I just spent night one in an old cabin. Already before night fell I heard something squishy stalking outside the house. As night fell... the voices came, and then.. something... came into my house! Luckily I had taken out the bottom half of the stairs, but I could still see its white twisted form down there in the dark, trying to smash the wooden beams to get to me. I shot it and it went and it hid UNDER MY STAIRS! Kept whispering from there.. I'm so fricking rattled right now, hahaha!! Love your mod! Do I even dare to go downstairs in the morning??
  6. Wow, thank you JaxTeller! That headshot thing was the only thing putting me off - everything else looks fantastic! Time to give this perfect-looking mod a spin! Just one more question - will the no headshots version also appear in the mod launcher, or how would one go about installing it? (tech noob here)
  7. Hey there. Been thinking of trying this mod, but I'm a little put off by the "can only hurt things with headshots" thing. How does this affect combat, and does it also affect hitboxes on animals? I don't fancy trying to hit a deer in the head when hunting.
  8. Hurrah!! Tomorrow I will try your mod for the first time.
  9. Confirmed, the mod works for us too after reinstalling it in the mod launcher. Many thanks for your help, sir!
  10. Hey SPhereii, First off, thanks for the fantastic tool you've built! Both my gf and I are enjoying it a lot. We're running SMX's UI with big bags and up until today everything's worked beautifully. Today however, SMX's mod stopped working through the launcher. It had an update today, but Sirillion says it works fine on the manual install, and he also tried in your launcher and it worked for him there. Could it be that our Norton doesn't like the new dll file that was added? Here's my little bug report. Prereqs: Have SMX Big Bag mod installed in 7DTD launcher, as a clone install in its own folder Steps to repeat: 1. Start up 7DTD launcher 2. Navigate to and click SMX Big Back Pack 3. Make sure EAC is (OFF) 4. Click button "Play Mod" Results: * The log ticks along as seen below, until the last line where it just stops. After that nothing happens. No black screens, or anything. It's as if the "Play Mod" button was never pushed. Clone Mode Detected. Refreshing existing depot... Done Copying folder \TempMods\Mods ...... Done Copying folder \TempMods\Data\Config ...... Done Copying folder \TempMods\7DaysToDie_Data ...... Done Copying \TempMods\README.md to \README.md... Done. Copying \TempMods\7DaysToDieServer_Data\Managed\Assembly-CSharp.dll to \7DaysToDie_Data\Managed\Assembly-CSharp.dll... Done. Launching \7DaysToDie.exe ... Done Expected results: * The log probably looks something like above. * The game actually starts.
