I do not believe this is currently possible. It would require new work to add code to read a version file from the client and display it. Is the current iteration of the mod not changing things radically enough?
-
Maybe here would be better to ask:
-
What modlets do you have in your environment? I'd check their ModInfo.xml, as it looks like one may be malformed.
-
Sorry for the delay. I hooked into your repo, so they are starting show up. You do have one that has a modinfo.xml, all lowercase. This should be ModInfo.xml. This will cause issues with linux / mac users.
-
Update to 2.1.25 to fix library mis-fanglement.
-
Sorry for the trouble, could you try this installer: https://github.com/7D2DModLauncher/ThickInstaller/blob/master/Beta-SetupInstaller.msi
-
https://github.com/7D2DMods/Mods It should look something like that. Each modlet in its own folder, at the root.
-
Update time! It's been 4 long months.... But 2.1.23 is here. - Upload Log Files works again (oops) - Installed Mods should show up now (oops) - Overhaul Mods are read dynamically, rather than database backed. ( to work around the disappearing gitlab mods )
-
Send me your github/gitlab link to where the modlets are, and I'll start indexing them.
-
There is no such limit on Github. The only limits github has are 100 meg per individual files, and that's for uploading, not downloading. I was able to just sync the entire repo successfully. How are you downloading it?

I wanted to give you an update. I have set up a Linux dedicated server and have reproduced the problem. It is related to running under Linux. I am continuing to investigate and will push patches when discovered
-
we've been pushing updates the last few days. - RWG should be all fixed up now. - Trader Hugh's base has been fixed - Nightmare corrections were done - Adjusted cave spawns to be a bit more assertive - Added Khaine's HP Target bars
-
I made another change. I think the failure happens when using Linux, so I cannot verify the fix. If you want to try the latest build again, and let me know if that problem goes away.
-
Do you have a log file of the crash? I don't see why that wouldn't work. You'd just need the 7DaysToDie_Data and Mods folder to be copied over. Are you running the Mod Launcher as a non-steam game? That might help with your connection issues.
