  1. Sorry for the trouble. Can you upload the log files? It'll be easier to see. Here's a visual guide on how to do it: https://imgur.com/a/QXEg5
  2. No worries. Still sorry for all the trouble you are having
  3. Yeah, sorry about the trouble. It seems like *something* locked those files, and not letting the game read them. Even if the launcher was failing, the game should load in vanilla. But that doesn't even seem to be the case. So we have IO bit, and that's all that is running?
  4. Looking over your output_log.txt, I see this: Seems like there's confusion with the permissions. I don't think its anything in particular that the launcher is doing. I've seen a few searches come up: https://steamcommunity.com/app/251570/discussions/0/143388408895063359/ Usually traced back to anti-virus or something. Have you tried rebooting? Any new anti-virus that you may have installed?
  5. https://imgur.com/a/SXq6W That's a quick and easy way of uploading the log files.
  6. The launcher calls 7daystodie.exe after it installs the mod. Can you provide me the log files from one of the games? It's under the View menu, then Log Files. There should be two logs there, one for the 7d2dlauncher.txt and one for the game itself.
  7. Hmm... sorry for the trouble. Black screen on all the mods? Is EAC enabled in the Mod Launcher?
  8. Update time! Provided more robust support for github downloads, and added some options to work around some issues: 1) Steam Not Available - If you get this error, try to check Run Game As Admin, and see if that resolves it 2) Mod List not showing - Try to Disable SSL and see if that revolves it.
  9. Sorry for the trouble. Let's get you sorted out. Would you mind selecting War of the Walkers in the Mod Launcher, and click on the View menu. From there, click on the Log Files. Here, you'll find two log files: One of the game, and one for the Launcher. Would you mind selecting each one, and clicking Upload Log file, then providing me links? Here is a visual guide: https://imgur.com/a/SXq6W
  10. Definitely reasonable. I'm working on a new version for release this week, and I'll try to squeeze in a solution, or at least, something with more debugging. Thank you kindly for your patience in this

Do you have decent internet? Maybe my timeout value is too sensitive.
  12. Sorry for these long delays. We seem to keep missing each other Do you need, or have a proxy set for your web browser? What kind of anti-virus or firewall software are you running?
  13. It does look like it was effective though. I see a new error now, with the old one gone: INFO 1 _7D2DLauncher.frmMain - Setting Sync Folder to: INFO 1 _7D2DLauncher.frmMain - GroupName or Server Name does not exist yet. INFO 1 _7D2DLauncher.frmMain - Setting up Default View INFO 1 _7D2DLauncher.frmMain - Error reading from Default List: System.Net.WebException: The operation has timed out at System.Net.WebClient.OpenRead(Uri address) at _7D2DLauncher.frmMain.loadExamplesToolStripMenuItem_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) This is the URL that it's trying to reach. Can you try to open it up in your web browser?
  14. Thank you, that was what I was looking for. INFO 1 _7D2DLauncher.frmMain - XML File is loaded. INFO 1 _7D2DLauncher.frmMain - Clearing History INFO 1 _7D2DLauncher.frmMain - Udating Remote Server list INFO 1 _7D2DLauncher.frmMain - Reading War of the Walkers INFO 1 _7D2DLauncher.frmMain - Reading XML File: War of the Walkers <snip> INFO 1 _7D2DLauncher.frmMain - System.Net.WebException: Could not find file 'C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0\ZXQ6NY87.NMG\DEKK846M.8R9\7d2d..tion_7648fef8e97e2d05_0001.0000_b0f72dbe63644156\War of the Walkers'. ---> System.Net.WebException: Could not find file 'C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0\ZXQ6NY87.NMG\DEKK846M.8R9\7d2d..tion_7648fef8e97e2d05_0001.0000_b0f72dbe63644156\War of the Walkers'. ---> System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not find file 'C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0\ZXQ6NY87.NMG\DEKK846M.8R9\7d2d..tion_7648fef8e97e2d05_0001.0000_b0f72dbe63644156\War of the Walkers'. at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) So that's the root of the issue. It's trying to load a bad config. I noticed you tried to do a Clear History. Could you try another Clear History, then restart the Mod Launcher to see if that fixes it?
  15. Sorry for the trouble, and it's definitely not a noob question. Something is wrong let's see if we can figure it out. Can you click on the View menu, and select Log Files. Then, click on the Upload Log File file to upload your Launcher log file. It'll give you a pastebin.com link to give to me. Here's a series of pictures to help you.
  16. Okay, let's do it from the top: Client: 1) Delete mod in Mod Launcher 2) Re-make it Server: 1) Download this: https://github.com/dwallorde/WaroftheWalkersMod---BBM---Github/archive/master.zip 2) Download the Bigger Back Pack mod: https://7daystodie.com/forums/showthread.php?34533-Backpack-Expansion 3) Extract First Link. Rename the 7DaysToDie_Data folder to 7DaysToDieServer_Data 4) Extract the Bigger Back Pack Mod. Copy the Dedi DLL to the 7DaysToDieServer_data/Managed/ folder, over-writing the Assembly-CSharp.dll 5) upload to server.
  17. Perhaps I should have been clearer. We don't want to delete the entire folder your game folder, rather, delete that folder in the mod download, which just has a few DLLs in it.
  18. To Remove, you can go to Add and Remove Programs, and it should be listed under 7D2D Launcher. Running the exe should be fine. You can move that to your desktop if you'd like.
  19. I'm noticed that a few times, and I think github is making changes. I have another version that is nearly ready to push out.. hopefully it'll help a bit.
  20. Here's the theoretical steps you'd want to take. You can use this as guidance To prepare a server upload: 1) Download the Bigger Back Pack client mod. ( Either from github directly, through the Mod Launcher's TempMods folder, or nexus site) 2) Delete the 7DaysToDie_Data folder 3) Download Stallionsden's biggerback pack mod, that matches your backpack size 4) Create a 7DaysToDieServer_Data/Managed/, and copy in the Server-side DLL from Step 3. That should be it for your server-side upload. The other changes in War of the Walkers DLL, SwayGate and crafting lag, do not need to be on the server to work.
  21. Thank you. The mod above doesn't use github's api to sync, because it's smaller than the bigger back pack. INFO 8 _7D2DLauncher.frmMain - Attempting to download: https://github.com/dwallorde/WaroftheWalkersMod---BBM---Github/archive/master.zip INFO 8 _7D2DLauncher.frmMain - Clone Download Mode Detected. Using libgit2sharp... INFO 8 _7D2DLauncher.frmMain - Previous sync exists. Refreshing... INFO 8 _7D2DLauncher.frmMain - Warning: Download attempt failed. Will retry... I see that after a freshly syncs folder. Does your Steam copy have a TempMods folder in it already? if so, I'd suggest deleting it, and re-making the folder (again).
