  1. Your character is portable, you can go into any SP and MP game with it. Games have their own saves, and your character(s) also have their own save. This will allow you to take your SP character and easily join your friends in a MP game with the same character. A good example of this being used is in the game Grim Dawn. They even have a trader that you can store your loot with and then join the same gave with another player and have access to the same loot. It's a very flexible system.

  2. Item counts in your inventory change to even display the number 1 on items that are on their own. So 1 crossbow 1 shovel etc.. As if they could be stacked. I've also had it where the crafting menu search field causes the entire inventory menu to become non responsive to clicks of the mouse. Not good at all when your are in the middle of a battle.

Not reporting a bug just wanted to talk about it.

    Thanks

  3. Once when it happened to me I had to dig down only one block. As long as you can select it and get into its inventory you should be able to empty and pick it up. It is strange though that all of them are affected. Wonder if its something else.

I will bring up my idea once again. Parking spots for vehicles that act like a bedroll. If you have a problem, pay a trader to tow your vehicles back to their spot. Not only will this be helpful in these scenarios, but also on a regular basis when you die and are too far from your vehicle. The price should be high enough to prevent abuse though. 1000-5000 dukes.

This is all covered in the Pinned Support FAQ.

Please take care to read the Pins before reporting an issue.

Thanks SylenThunder. I took a look at her SavesLocal Player folder on her computer, and there is only one file in the player folder, no backups, or older versions. So I guess we can kiss her progress goodbye?

Eventually there should not be any more bugs and glitches with vehicles. At least that is what I would expect from the game. Therefore this suggestion won't solve any problems in the long term.

Moreover, I don't want to miss the fun of building my own garage 🙂

You'd still be able to build your own garage, and then place the spot inside it.

  6. When buying, finding, or creating a vehicle, they all come with a placeable parking spot. You can place it anywhere you like. This is similar to a bedroll. If you have any problems (or glitches) you can go visit a trader and pay them (1000 Dukes) to Tow your vehicle to/near its parking spot. This will be handy even on a regular basis.

    Thanks

  7. Here is proof that the vehicle went underground. I went into Dev mode and took a screenshot, and while I was there took it back into my inventory. So I've resolved my own issue. Not all players are capable, or even know about this solution. My idea above for vehicle parking spots still stands. Please consider it. Thanks

To all the players, if your vehicle disappears, and you are able to dig at the POI or terrain, just dig down and you'll be able to empty it and pick it up.  I also highly recommend not to bring your vehicle anywhere near or on top of trader POI's.

  8. PLEASE HELP

My motorcycle is buried underground, it's under a traders POI where I can't even dig it up. My wife was playing with me at the time and witnessed it disappear into the road right in front of the trader, and then it moved under the building. No way to dig since the POI is protected. $20,000 in the toilet, plus all my loot.

I've tried waiting till night and the morning to see if it would force it out, similar to how we get kicked out. No luck.....

If anyone has a way to extract it from the ground in this POI, I would appreciate the help. Thanks so much.

@The Fun Pimp Is there at least a temporary solution to help Players/Customers get their hard earned vehicles back? Maybe like being able to call it back home from the map incase there is a problem like this? You guys should make designated parking spots that we can place for our vehicles, similar to how we place a bedroll. If we have issues we can reset the vehicle, along with its contents to its parking spot. Each vehicle gets one parking spot that you own. This idea could still be around even after the bug is fixed. Think of it like a way to Tow your vehicles home. Maybe you can charge a fee for it? $1000 Dukes?

    Thanks for your time.

  9. I say keep it simple and just make the last 7th day last for 7 days. It encompasses, what the game stands for, and makes it extra challenging.  And after, the player has the choice to keep playing if they want.

Personally, I say keep a zombie game a zombie game. When we start introducing satanic demons the size of a truck, or wizards and witches, it ruins the game IMO.

    Thats my 2 cents.,

  10. Heres a few tips that helped me on my rig

    1) (For people using external monitors) Make sure that the port you are using on your monitor allows it to run at the highest refresh rate possible. Mine had to use HDMI. If I use the DP, it has a lower refresh rate.

    2) If your FPS are all over the place, enable VSync. It will sync the graphics to your monitors refresh rate. Not only to prevent tearing, but it also give a more stable FPS.

    3) (For people on a desktop PC) If you have more than one PCIE slot on your motherboard, make sure you are using the one with the fastest speed for your video card.

All things aside. The game is definitely a resource hog and needs to be optimized big time. Now with the game looking nicer and nicer, its getting to become even more of a hog. Hopefully A21 will focus heavily on that. We need something like Unreal 5's Nanite tech. that would kick ass.

    Cheers

  11. Strange suggestion, but it worked for me. Go to the location of where your vehicle marker is,  and dig into the ground. You should hit it. You can then empty it and pick it up. Hopefully that works for you.. @TheFunPimps  Please take note of this... I've mentioned this before and got no reply. Considering how much work it is to actually create a vehicle, this is a major pain.

FYI, this is a little off topic, but i've also experienced some floating trees and irregular terrain that would change height as I rode my bike. Looked like I was driving into a mountain, but then it would get smaller and keep moving back until it was gone. I bet this is related to the floating trees. Hopefully the logs help with that as well.
