  1. Looks like you've got a corrupt region file. This can happen during power loss, blue screens, crashes, and other issues that can cause the file save to be interrupted.

    You have two options:

#1 Remove the file and continue your game at the risk of losing your base or any other world changes the player may have made to the world.
Go to /Users/charlesgoudy/Library/Application Support/7DaysToDie/Saves/Navezgane/WTF 8/Region/r.-2.4.7rg and delete that file. Try to load the game and continue playing.

NOTE: This may or may not be the region that contains your base or other world changes, however, with the corrupted file, you can't load the game anyway. This should allow you to continue playing with your current character and player inventory. If the base is gone, you can use the cm command in the F1 console to gain access to the creative menu. (Keyboard shortcut U) This will allow you to get anything lost to rebuild if your base is gone.

    #2 Start a new game.

  2. This is a hardware issue.

Doing a Google search of Video_TDR_Failure shows a wide range of issues/solutions.
Also searching for the i7-7700HQ shows that to be a laptop processor.

    I would suggest the following:

    Reinstall Graphics Drivers
Set power saving setting of PCI Express Link State Power Management to OFF
Verify that the cooling system is clean and properly working to avoid any overheating issues.

You could even try this guide.

Use all of the above at your own risk. Good Luck!

  3. @Montaris
Agreed! I would say that they could just be made in the backpack and workbench now.
The player MUST also find or buy the blood bags and beer which is yet another gate in the way.
The chemistry station is needed to make beer later on, but there is no way to craft the blood bags.

I'll have to talk to Madmole first to make sure he's ok with this change.

  4. Admin tools are for admins and developers. A fix here is not needed.

Unfortunately, the public test server had leftover settings from a previous test I was not aware about until it was too late. I decided to just let folks play with it, and of course, some sour grapes had to ruin the fun.

I've now shutdown the public server test.

  5. Correct. The eye tracker may work well with 7 Days to Die and the Tobii features they provide, but TFP doesn't have a working relationship with Tobii. Any issues while using their peripheral will need to be worked out through them.

    Good luck!

P.S. It is my personal goal to encourage TFP to get more peripherals like this supported as well as other game features to aid players with impairments. i.e. color blind options, on screen indicators for hearing impaired, and peripherals like this for physical impairments. This may or may not happen, but would most likely be closer to Gold or even post Gold.
