All zombies run in a straight line. They can run, jump, explode. But just shoot without aiming from the gun. How to protect your base? It's easy. You dig down, you make a cave. The entrance is through the tunnel so the zombies can't find it. And over the place where there are foundries you just need to put a camera and traps. I've played other games where enemies don't run in a straight line directly at your weapon. And it's really very interesting. For example "The Forest" 3:50 - 5:00 : - еnemies run around the player, they stop and mislead the player, go around behind. In doom 2 which made in 1994 AI smarter and more interesting. The zombie needs to "see" all the buildings of the player. Smell it. Zombies must always attack the base. Coming in randomly from all sides. You can't build a base that can't be broken. The player must always be afraid, every minute to wait for the attack from behind. And why removed the ability to shoot zombies hands, feet and blow up the head? It's zombies! Shot the hand-run bite, shot the leg-crawl, shot the head-go headless. Zombies must be very scary! Zombies should not be the object of farming! A crowd of 5 zombies should scare the player so that he had a desire to build 20 traps and wrap all the barbed wire, seasoning it with 3 layers of concrete. You need to spiral slowly inward...two bodies circling each-other slowly at first. You want to become one with your foe, yes, yes, but not too quickly....gravity compels you to circle faster and faster. Resist the urge to close. As you waltz every-inward, the zombie can smell your tender flesh, and you her rank perfume. You both long for the embrace. Seduced by fate, your deft footsteps; her urgent shuffle bring you both closer and closer to....embrace! As your passions tear into one-another you succumb to your wanton abandon.
