TheProphet
Then how would you define the borders to a map? How strong would an irradiated Behemoth be? The world border it's just radiation again, but make it a super radiation zone or something.
fishjie
hornets gave honey which was fantastic - it beat searching tree trunks in the snow biomes. not a lot of good options for curing disease at start. vultures are good too because they give feathers. they both serve a useful function, so they should bring definitely bring back hornets and keep vultures
warmer
I agree with the wasteland/radiation zone. I have also had some other thoughts; I think it would be interesting if you had a roving swarm within a certain distance x of y fresh corpses. Hornets are meat eaters. Have you ever been camping in a forest in the western US during August? Try and eat anything containing protein and you are swarmed by hornets in minutes. I think end game stage where irradiated zombies are glowing we should be see roving swarms of 3 - 5 during the day. Fresh kills attracting them within 250~ meters. They need to be rare and dangerous. Chance of poisoning similar to food poisoning effect when taking damage from a critical hit.
Kubikus
I think radiation and giant insects go together wonderfully. I miss the hornets. I'm guessing we aren't likely to see any more giant insects outside of mods. I'd love to be wrong :-)Giant insects would be a fantastic addition to the game.
