Yet Another Victim of Random Crashes in A20....

The game is crashing "randomly" and going unresponsive. I'm getting the "d3d11: failed to create staging 2D texture...." errors in my crash reports, among others.
These are the most recent 5 crash reports. I have updated my drivers, and the last two errors are after I updated my visual C++. I have wiped all A19 files clean a few days ago.
I have all settings to LOWEST in graphics.
This never happened with A19. However, I have had problems with Hardspace Shipbreaker and Dyson Sphere Program, where the games freeze but the sounds continue as if the game is still "playable" but the screen is frozen, making my think this is a Unity issue. I'm NO expert in this and have no real clue, but I'm hoping someone can look at these crash reports and see something I'm missing...? Thanks in advance for any insight!

Have you tried disabling dynamic mesh just to rule that out?  I noticed from your log it was on I think.  Also, have you tried updating your Nvidia drivers?  Also, can you submit a full bug report in our bug forums?  This will ensure your issue gets looked out accordingly.  Link is in red banner above.  Thanks.

I just tried it with dynamic mesh disabled, but no luck.
Here is the crash report from this attempt:

As for the NVIDIA driver, I updated a few days ago, and is currently up to date.

But I will go ahead with a bug report. I just don't want to sound like I'm saying, "Hey! there's something wrong with your game!" since I don't know. For all I know this some kind of hardware issue. I really have no clue! I'm just hoping that someone can spot something that will at least help me figure out what it is.

Your latest log shows chunk errors so likely your save is corrupted.

well......... poo. Stands to reason I suppose, since when I start with a clean world, the game lasts for like 20 minutes before it freezes, but subsequent attempts seldom last more than a few minutes. So I guess I wonder what causes the corruption the first time...? My internet is ADSL so it's painful to do a full re-install, but it's looking that might be needed...oyy....

I have a Gigabyte 3080TI Vision and I'm experiencing the same error and result.  Did you ever find a solution to this problem?  This happens to me consistently with A20 and A19.  The only way to mitigate the issue is by locking the frame rate to 60fps.  With that, I can play for hours before it crashes.

As near as I can tell, the problem -- for me -- is only with DirectX 11.  I can play the game with Vulkan and OpenGL and it's much more stable.  It hasn't crashed on me with OpenGL.  With Vulkan, it's crashed once or twice but that's after hours of playing.

Always the same errors in the logs: failed to create staging 2d texture [887a0005]

...and failed to create buffer [0x887A0005].

I've swapped every piece of hardware in my system and the error only occurs with my video card.  I can play rock stable with my wife's EVGA 3070.

It also happens in Unreal games, so, for me, it's not specific to Unity.  I've had it crash in 7DTD, Conan and Phasmophobia.  All with the lockup and crash to desktop.

If you or anyone has any info on this issue, I'd greatly appreciate it if you shared.  Thanks.

Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling video drivers?
