A 20 experimental not launching

A 19.6 was working fine.  I went to install A 20 and it wouldn't launch.  I would get the Easy Anti Cheat screen pop up, then it would disappear and nothing would happen after that.  I uninstalled and reinstalled with A 20.  Same thing.  Tried running without Easy Anti Cheat and it still wouldn't launch.  Tried every possible launch variable to get the game running...nothing.  Uninstalled again and deleted any files i could find on 7 Days.  Save Games, Generated worlds, everything.  Reinstalled and still won't launch.  I'm at a loss at what the problem could be...thoughts?

Hi I have the exact same problem but on a mac. How can I fix this? There is only an Microsoft Visual C Distributables installer for Windows.  Please help 😕

I just spent all of yesterday afternoon and a few hours this morning trying to get my game working on Alfa 20, would not work! Uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared files in launcher, turn off anti cheat in launcher, checked everything I could think of.

 

I saw this post and I reinstalled this per your suggestion and my game is working PERFECTLY again!

I had this exact same issue. Same IP address. Same Port.


I had mcafee webadvisor installed on my laptop and even though I uninstalled it, it left some weird proxy settings setup on my computer that it was trying to put all the traffic through. This was causing some kind of issue with the connection to the epic games servers.

 

I was able to fix it by resetting my proxy settings using "netsh winhttp proxy reset" in cmd as admin.
