Lahdee
So after Alpha 17 and on, my good friend that I play this game with has been plagued by motion sickness. Does anyone who has experienced motion sickness in this game have their graphic settings in a way where they don't get sick?
Cernwn
Yes, I also experience motion sickness if I do not do the following: Options -> Video -> Display tab -> VSync = On Options -> Video -> Quality tab -> Motion Blur = Off Hit Apply after making each change. To reduce eye strain (sometimes linked with motion sickness), I would suggest your friend take more frequent breaks (every 20-50 mins) and enable "Night light" mode (adds a sepia tone) if using Windows 10. Personally, I do not like to do the latter, as I prefer a more vivid color scheme (70 digital vibrance on Nvidia GPUs, or 140 saturation on ATI/AMD GPUs)
SylenThunder
Maxing out the FoV to 85 helps as well. It gets a little fisheye, but that isn't terrible.

Or both? I usually don't get motion sicknes, but i hate tearing. Also i prefer a stable framerate, but that could be also achieved through a framelimiter without sync. Just interested, because Free-/G-Sync would also fix the tearing, but still not cause a stable framerate without using an additional framelimiter. For the motion sickness also take a look on the framerate itself. Depends on the player but low framerates may also cause motion sickness, even if people are basically satisfied with like 30fps.
