Jamolisim
If I am playing A18 experimental right now and then A18 goes to stable, can I still use my save game from experimental in stable version?
warmer
You more than likely can, but where things change you typically end up with broken triggers. Best to start a new game.
Khulkhuum
Depends how much TFP will change. From random balancing tweaks to updates that mess up some of the items around. They will surely notice everyone if a new world is required, although it's definitely probable. If you fear losing your progress, then it's better to wait a bit. On the other hand, why not play a little bit and then spend more time when stable hits? There surely will be a few weeks before that.
crazywildfire
From my understanding is unless you come across some major bug that they have not had to restart for an update in a long time. So you should be fine until next alpha. If you are going to be putting in bug reports it is best to make sure you have a fresh start. Maybe if you come across a bug you can have a updated map to test and see if you can reproduce the bug or not. Besides that you should be fine not updating with each update. Example- they changed a lot of things during the streamer weekend to when it went public and the streamers didn't have to restart and nothing happened and they still got the updated stuff.
