dcsobral
VERSIONS: alpha 17.1, 17.2. URL: https://github.com/dcsobral/7d2d/tree/master/Mods/LiquidWater This is a small modlet for people who would really like to make large bodies of water, either on creative or in-game, without the hassle that people have to go through outside the prefab editor. It adds a couple of "dev" blocks available through creative, liquidWater_waterLiquidPOI and liquidWater_waterLiquid that spread from the point they are placed and then turn into terrWaterPOI and water, respectively. It also adds a couple of blocks that work in a different fashion, making it easier to make multi-layered water bodies: liquidWater_terrLiquidStone and liquidWater_terrLiquidStoneStatic. You place liquidWater_terrLiquidStone and that will spread as a layer of stone-like liquidWater_terrLiquidStoreStatic. That block eventually turns into water, the same way poured concrete turns into concrete. The water block it turns to is waterStaticBucket. Two items were added, the liquidWater_bucketEmptyLiquidWater and liquidWater_bucketLiquidWater. There's a recipe for the former, 50 steel on a workbench, and it can only be filled from a natural source of water, so water from prefabs (which are supposed to use terrWaterPOI) or from buckets will not work to fill it. Once filled, the empty bucket turns into the latter, and, when poured, it turns into liquidWater_terrLiquidStone (see above).
Necrodemus
This looks very interesting, thank you for making this. When I get back to A17 I'll definitely give this a go.
noname835
Hello, I just tested on my server and I do not find it convenient, now maybe I do it wrong. Do you know how to make a little video to explain please? Thank you
Gareee
I tried it and didn't see much difference between using a bucket. Water is still wonky and does do what you would expect it to do.
