How do you get a Trader to stay?

so I built a prefab that we use on our MP servers. We use CPM to import it where we want it. I then placed some NPC Traders inside it, but they keep disappearing. If I leave the area and come back, they are gone.

 

How do I keep them from despawning?

Good question, had the same problem with mine, and the renovated POI I had housed the trader in also reverted to its untouched state.

Instead of manually spawning a trader, use the trader spawn block. It's designed to respawn the trader should it disappear.

-- edit -- those seemed to only spawn Joel, lol. I also tried switching it to Static instead of Dynamic, and they seem to stick.

 

One one server i only used the static spawner, and on the other server I used the trader block but removed joel and spawned in the other traders. will see how long it lasts.
