  1. Both! I love this game as you can do either and have fun doing so. Just learning 7d2d and using POIs is definitely easier to start with as grinding for resources can take a while for good bases you make on your own.
  2. But were the eggs pasture raised and the pigs forage fed for optimal omega 3 fats? That omega 6 fat is what brought on the zombie infections.
  3. I've seen steam do this for other games I play as well. Steam "updates" the game yet it's the same version. Didn't happen a lot but it did indeed happen now and then.
  4. Awesome, is there an experimental build I can test? Or do I need to wait for it to make it to the main public build? Would love to help out testing things now and then. Have a experience in software testing and want to help where I can as I really enjoy this game.
  5. Cool, thank you. I'm more reporting the other scenario where SI is not being calculated correctly to make sure it's fixed as well. I've only read folks talking about replacing the lowest block not updating the SI and want to make sure the devs catch and fix this permutation. Plus it gives them an easy repro to test their fix with. The other easy repro is a Y type shape that you convert to an H shape. Luckily most folks who are server maintainers and/or playing single player already knew about how to fix it as it shows it right in the UI that you use to look at SI. Well at least it was obvious to me. LOL But great you were able to share the fix with those who didn't realize how to do so. Also your fix will only work for folks who have access to do so, those who play on servers may not have that luxury, so until then if they upgrade the lowest supporting block it'll update the SI above it for that pillar.
  6. Likely already part of the bug ticket, but just in case it's not. I've found a scenario where building down, even to ground has a little bit of a different SI issue. I posted this in our discord where folks were running into SI issues and I took a bit of a look to see if there was a workaround. The one issue I saw reported elsewhere is replacing the lowest blocks. This other scenario was around building down rather than up and SI not being recalculated correctly. Let me know if that doesn't make sense and you need more clarification.
  7. Thank you, after talking with others we might think about starting on a randomly generated world we started on Navezgane and where we spawned we're not getting as much loot in prep for the first horde night. LOL That and my daughter and I are just learning the game so staring over might be ok. I need to talk to her about it first though. Just need to find a good seed to start on.
  8. First time doing an experimental build and new to 7d2d. If we already started an alpha 20 map in experimental should it just keep working in alpha 20 stable?
