  1. I've got a fairly high-end rig... lag anywhere hasn't been an issue for me
  2. Does anyone have a custom DF map with a very large megacity that they could share? RWG for DF is still a work in progress, right? /just wanting a different sort of map play-through this time around
  3. Ok... new world (DFMedium), and same errors with Skill Notes being unable to be read (all greyed out as an option). Recipes are all fine... but any weapon Note is unreadable - even from the Hotbar So far, Archery Notes, Rifle Notes and Shotgun Notes are the only ones that have dropped for me yet, and here are screenies of two of them. Note they show as 'Unread' and I have zero (0) skill points in either Rifle or Shotgun, so there shouldn't be any conflict there.
  4. Sorry for a repeat question (too tired/brain dead to check the last twenty pages or so)... Is RWG still not working for DF? An on-going problem that won't be fixed for awhile until after A20 stablizes? /looking for a megacity DF map... just for something different
  5. Still having issues reading skill books in toolbars (not recipes)... trying a new game in one of your default worlds to double-check. What happened to the Wellness Book? It's now MIA in CM. Cowboys are still named as Decaying Strippers...lol /quitting Apocalypse DF 4K test... world is too crazy insane hard for a single player.... but great for a server multiplayer! //doing Xsmall world (again)... needs to be a XXSmall 4K size... not a lot of time to explore when new betas keep coming out quick <edit> Zeds are still becoming AI frozen after about an hour of play. Wiping directory, clean 7D2D+DF reinstall in progress
  6. Yep, always have been... they're greyed out and unusable, even in the hotbar now
  7. It's Nasty.... I saw what looked like a drug store zombie and attacked it... it was actually really a Behemoth with 2k health in a normal pharmacist skin. Slaughtered me fast and I lost @20 perm health & stam when I died... fast. Are Wellness Books no longer a thing anymore - looked and couldn't find anything in creative? Zeds are calling friends, like nighttime Feral Sense during the day... you think you're fighting one or two and then see that six or eight are in your face. Not sure if I like this yet or not. Might be a bit too rough, the best weapon I've found yet @lv 28 is a junk baton, lol. Found a few other weird bugs... but didn't write them down, so now can't recall most of them. Unread books for Skills (example: Archery Notes) cannot be read (greyed out). Couldn't read a different one earlier. Recipe books seem fine. /playing on the Apocalypse DF map where it's all wasteland, everywhere (almost suicidal for single player... but would be great as a multi-player server)
  8. Ok the problem fixed itself when I loaded the new save game. No idea what the initial problem was... but all working ok now
  9. Started new game with the new DF files above... getting a weird bug that zeds are not moving... just standing still in idle mode, even if they are hit. New bug or some weirdness using the Armageddon 4K DF 1.2 map? Thought maybe zed AI is turned off by default, but going into debug mode and pressing * doesn't restart them again 😕 Out of ideas
  10. Does the new A20.1 beta break anything with the current (early) DF A20.0 release? /hoping to play tonight for the first time in about two weeks
  11. They always were a tough drop. I usually end up buying mine from traders 😕 Oddly, in A20... I found a cooking grill and two beakers long before a cooking pot dropped for me - go figure
  12. FYI: on Xsmall DF Map, Eve spawns out in the desert (@1931W-843E) and is bugged, you cannot talk to her. Gives: ERR [XUi] Error while updating window group 'radial' - EXC The given key was not present in the dictionary Also when I do a buried treasure or mine, within a few minutes a heavy zed group will spawn near me. I kill them, dig about 4-5 more times, another group spawns - repeat. Is some Heat factor out of whack or is this 'working as intended'?

  14. Default number of zeds seems ok. With feral sense on things do get more interesting at night. Wait for an updated mod that 2x 4x 8x 16x the spawns... it should be soonish. /likes a target rich environment too
  15. don't seem to always be at the SW corner of the yellow circle anymore! It was a thing in A19 that 9/10 times you could find the chest at/near the SW corner - not anymore! At level 1 so far, twice the chest was near in the SE corner and the last time it was dead central in the zone. /not sure if JaWoodle will laugh or cry about this
  16. Good catch. The mine was @ 200-300 meters from the land claim, well outside its border... but the green does go away when the claim block is turned off. Weird... so not a bug then, maybe. Thanks

  18. Confirm. Noticed this happen while in a POI. Noticed it happened every time it rains/anywhere inside during JaWoodle's stream last weekend /reminded me of playing Farming Simulator 19 (same effect)

  22. Just to be a little clearer, the texture of the rocks doesn't turn... the mist/fog puddles as a liquid at the bottom, filling the hole as I dig it out. It looks/acts like the default water texture (except green), but you can breathe under it without causing damage. I dug all around the sides where the green liquid forms and as I break out dirt/ore voxels, the green liquid will fill into the new open spaces. When I quit for tonight, the volume of the liquid appeared to be 3-4x more than as pictured. Low priority fix... but it was amusing to suddenly find myself enveloped by it

  24. Summary: During nighttime, a green fog/mist/miasma floats above ground. If I dig a mine, at some point a green semi-liquid layer will appear at bottom of mine... acting like green water. Cannot be removed. On (I think) Status: NEW Feral Sense: ON Detailed steps to reproduce the bug: 1) Wait until darkness; green fog appears around my base 2) Dig a hole in the ground; It was @8 blocks deep when rocks at bottom of mine began to turn green 3) Green 'see-throuh' texture appears over rocks, resembling and acting similar to the normal water texture Expected result: Meah... doesn't hurt anything, as far as I can tell. Just cosmetic.
