  1. Oh how wonderful that sounds, and it could lead directly down into somewhere best visited as a party. As soon as the cities and busier tile districts become a bit more optimised, and adding more than one light doesn't cause frames to dip too significantly, these effects for lighting and smoke are certainly going to be a real possibility.

  2. Here is a small update for Preppocalypse:

     

    1. Edes Lets Plays Toy Store
    This POI is on a 60 x 60 tile area in the Commercial Tile Region. It is T4 and hooked up to all Quest types, as such it carries over into T5 as Infested.
    The back story is simply that this abomination swelled up through the ground and knocked down the Toy Store from the inside. A few remnant blocks and features will still be visible. It is dedicated to @edes_lets_plays from Edes Lets Plays in appreciation for an abundance of Live streams as part of a duo play through with Rela.

    2. The crafting area on the player has been increased from 4 slots to 12 slots. Thank you Khaine for that. ^^

     

    3. Skill Points see a small boost for certain Question completion rewards.

     

    4. Wandering Hordes see a +5 to their current total.

  3. Here is a small update for Preppocalypse.

     

    1. Corrugated walls and Wood ramps

    The bandit camp corrugated walls (1000 HP) and wood ramps (default 250 HP but increased to 750 HP) have been added to Workbench recipes.

     

    2. Mod Limits
    Custom Swiss rifle and Pots/Pans allow 5 mods at Tier 6.

     

    3. Crafting Time

    Crafting time on some of the high volume items such as walls and fences has been reduced. This is to ensure bulk crafting at the beginning will still take some time, but a quick replacement will be fast.

    A wide selection of choices with diagonal options also present. Since these offer 1000 HP they are generally decorative and will benefit from reinforced blocks behind them.

    Better HP than upgraded wooden blocks and increased from 250 HP for default. Functional but certainly not defensive.

  4. Here is small update for Preppocalypse.

     

    Misha Bunny Clothing POI

    This POI is TFP's Store_02 converted to Preppo style. It has been upgraded to a T4 POI with T5 Infested for all quest types. It is called Misha Bunny Clothing in recognition of BunnyNZ (Misha) @BunnyNZ who has completed her 30th Preppocalypse stream. As a 60 x 60 POI for Commercial tiles, it will not cause any noticeable loss if it replaces any other TFP style of POI since it is a conversion of the Savage Country clothing store, which already supported a variety of assets. Misha Bunny Clothing further expands on that variety, while adding some unique internal features of its own.

  5. He's awesome, looks the part, and his idle movement is classic zombie for sure.

    The only thing that stands out for feedback is the slight pause when lining up for an attack. Since it occurs from a greater distance than the default zombies, it doesn't quite land when a player is in motion such as backing away face to face. Default zombies are typically right in your face, and any slight pause makes sure they are still within range of a hit. If you're walking away from Freddy with him behind you, he isn't quite able to get a hit on us, even if he's running/aggroed. Other than that, I'm looking forward to more.

  6. Here is the hierarchy of order for ensuring the items that require power are using the solar in the day and backup battery by night:

    Oakraven Solar Power Array or Turret Solar Power Array

    connects to:

    Oakraven Battery Bank Classic or Instrustrial

    connects to:

    Items that require power.

     

    Since the power cells are not being used in the day, because the solar cells are producing power, they will be recharged for the night when the solar cells become idle. This cycle will self sustain as long as the batteries are not drawing too much power for the whole period of night.
     

  7. The Wasteland Mod uses a pretty sophisticated farming system which is dependent on 0-Score.

    The Rock Drills also use the farming system since the Rock Drills are working in a similar manner to plants for timing and so on.
    Their code extends the plant growing system. 0-Score, and by association The Wasteland Mod, connect to this system and make changes to it.

     

    All I can suggest for Wasteland is to attach them to the same water system that the Wasteland is using to hook up Farm Plots.

    It may allow them to be placed and activated. I cannot offer any other recommendations than that because the Oakraven Collection is designed for default gameplay.
    Mod and Overhaul creators are using these mods in their own creations and can make them compatible, but that is not something we can do.

  8. The Oakraven Drill is placed on ground such as soil, desert, etc. It can't be placed on player made blocks, concrete, asphalt, etc. Are you placing it on 'ground' rather than 'refined' surfaces? If yes, are you using any other mods which are conflicting? I tested the Oakraven Drill and it is working appropriately in A21.1 stable and A21.2 exp in SP and on dedicated servers.

  9. Here is an update for the Oakraven Collection.

     

    Oakraven Power Things

    This mod provides an additional power solution with its own variants of solar power and generators. Everything works in exactly the same manner.

     

    Things to note:

    - Power Cells and Solar Cells are crafted on the Oakraven Power Workbench which in turn is crafted on the regular Workbench.

    - Only Power Cells and Solar Cells are locked to a crafting skill. Reading Wiring 101 to the same level as batteries will begin the unlock process. However, they can reach Level 6 since they cannot be found in loot or at the traders.

    - Mineral resources for recipes are only found in the Wasteland and Burnt Forest.

    - The Oakraven Power Things provide greater wattage for longer.

  10. Here is an update to the Oakraven Collection.

     

    Oakraven Fish Farm

    The Oakraven Fish Farm Mod provides a quality of life feature. Craft Fish Farm containers on the Workbench, and populate with a Fish Farming Kit. The fish will grow through different stages until the Fish Farm container becomes lootable. Add fish to recipes or place on the floor and harvest fillets in the same way as an animal. A stand alone Fish Oven allows fish recipes to be cooked.

    One fun feature is the Fish Stick. It is primarily used for a 'Fish on a Stick' recipe, but can also serve as a melee weapon in emergencies.

  11. The RWG will see them inside the Prefabs folder for The Wasteland, and add them to the World along with the regular POIs in default Prefabs folder. They can stay untouched as they are. They will appear pretty proportionally compared to default and it generally feels balanced. Based on previous Worlds, there will always be at least one instance of the most important Wasteland POIs, if not more.

  12. Here is a small update for Preppocalypse. It was going to be the last POI for a while, but @Hirnsturz just passed his 50th Preppocalypse stream and this year recently saw him pass his 10th anniversary of doing what he does. It is dedicated to Hirnsturz for keeping the streams going in that very unique and special way. His streams are very entertaining, and all about the game play and overall experience, which is perfect for players looking to find out what Preppocalypse can offer.

    Hirnsturz Cabin
    This is a T2 POI hooked up to all quest types for A21. It sits on a 42 x 42 area and this allows it to appear in both the Old West and Wilderness.
    For players who spend some time around the Old West, and notice the vehicle reduction in the biomes and roads, this POI guarantees; a car and pickup truck. ^^

  13. Ah the duplicate trader marker bug. And it's helpful to hear that it is at that point that the problem began at that stage. The duplicate trader bug is in the official Known Issues list, but has not been resolved yet, as I can experience in my current play through as well. I haven't experienced your issue yet, but a buddy did see locked trader doors when they should be open in a duplicate trader marker location. In fact, only one was locked while the others in the same trader compound were unlocked. Only he could experience it.

  14. Here is a small update for Preppocalypse:

    1. Recipe Update
    Bone Broth and Bone Broth Stew have been added to Tier 0 recipes for new players. They add to the previous update where we can harvest bone and rotting flesh from zombies.

     

    Bone Broth requires 1 water and 4 bones. As a stand alone drink it offers the same hydration as water but gives a little nutrition and health benefit as well as warms up the player.

    The Bone Broth Stew is similar to a regular stew, except for the limited resources. As such, the benefits are more limited. However, adding in the acorn biscuit provides that 1% infection cure and can be a quick health pick me up as well as offer basic nutrition.

    Can it be considered cannibalism? Only the chef needs know where the Rotting Flesh and Bones came from. ^^

    2. Meshfile

    The Meshfile, which shows the food item in the player's hand, has been changed from the rolled up sack to the parcel for everything except for Jerky and Blueberry Roller, as they fit that context.

  15. Here's a small update for Preppocalypse:

    1. Zombie Harvesting
    - All Zombies can be harvested for Rotting Flesh and Bones for all Zombies. These two items are also increased with Wasteland Treasures. The amount is proportional to the size of the Zombie.
    - Some Zombies drop Fat in context with the BMI.
    - Special Zombies will have a 25% chance to be harvested for something unique to their traits. For example, the Spider Glider who throws Molotovs, has a chance to be harvested for a Molotov or two. For a Zombie carrying a ranged weapon, a little ammo that matches that ranged weapon may be found.

     

    With Wasteland Treasures and a little random chance, this Zombie gave up 2 Rotting Flesh and 4 Bones.

    Based on the BMI and overall stature, we received 4 Bones, 2 Fat, and 3 Rotting Flesh. Once all is properly validated in a dedicated server, to ensure synching is appropriate on a Network, an additional Recipe will be added to accommodate these extras. This can add to the unlocked recipes to assist new players starting out with a Bushcraft dining experience.

    2. Rebalancing the Coop, Fish Trap, and Rock Drill
    - The Coop increases the chance for a chicken to appear in loot by a small incremental amount so it will be noticed but still not be a normal feature. Players with a number of Coops are pretty much guaranteed a hit from one instance.
    - The Fish Trap does the same with the Catfish which still appears to be pretty rare. Again, noticable but not constant. There are a lot of other items in the Fish Trap loot group competing to appear.
    - The Rock Drill returns were pretty low, since at the Game Stage players can make them, they usually have a nice amount of Skill in Miner and Mother. The lower end returns have been increased while the max return pretty much stays the same.

    Can you confirm that you are using no other Mods except for the Wasteland ones, just to rule out any conflicts?

  17. They appear in the biomes at a rate set specifically for the Wasteland. It is lower than you'll generally find in an NPC Mod Add on Pack. However, since it is will known, seek out the Rad Cat Trader with Trader Johnny for a guaranteed chance to meet NPCs.

    There are other chances to meet NPCs but all will be seen as things progress up the Quest Tiers.

  18. The expansion packs are not necessary, since Wasteland specific NPCs are already integrated into the Mod and will appear out there in the Biomes ready to partner up.
    Adding any additional ones is possible, but not really recommended because getting the balance was a delicate process. What is already available in the Wasteland Mod will be incredibly immersive and serve you well.

    You will certainly see Darkz Raiderz, but they will be specific Wasteland Raiders...and more ^^

    This is a new one on me and it took a bit of learning through trial and error.

     

    As a prerequisite it will require unlocking the seed crafting skills and it appears that farming is going to be quite an advanced stage feature. Players who have Spifsal in Living off the Land should get access to the seed crafting skill books quicker to unlock some requirements.

     

    1. Unlock water pipes and place them next to your Farm Plots. One of them is a valve and acts as a 'sprinkler'. This is required to tell the Farm Plots to switch to active state.
    2. Run the water pipes to a water source. In this image, it is a hole with water poured in with buckets of water.
    3. This has the middle pipe with the junction piece which the valve or sprinkler can sit on (purely decorative and can just float above any water pipe).

    4. Seeds can now be placed. It appears there is about a 7 block max from the valve.

     

    The instruction are behind the water pipe description but pointed in the right direction. Maybe trader Rekt is also selling such items to make them accessible before unlock.

  20. @Riamus noticed that Bony Xpress was duplicated in the POI list for localising to their new names rather than file names. A small update removes one instance. It causes no issues if you don't update since the last entry takes precedence but it's there for the taking and for any new downloads. Thank you Riamus for noticing and sharing privately.

  21. Pushed a fix:

     

    The Junk Turret, Sledge, and Drone were showing as craftable to Level 10 on the Workbench. Preppocalypse had made a small custom change to allow players to have 2 Junk Turrets at Perk Skill 4 and 3 and Perk Skill 5. Unfortunately, the game had some mistaken xml code in here and was double Levelling up; once with Crafting Skill and once with Perk Skill.

     

    This was patched for 7 Days but I never saw it in any patch notes and it possibly got added as a quiet fix. I could see the code had changed in A21.1 and am now using that updated version for Preppocalypse. This has restored the crafting level to a Max of 5 even with all Perk Skills unlocked. Existing Junk Turrets above level 6 are junk, Drones above level 6 are just droning on and on, and Sledges above level 6 are best used as hedges...

    Please dump them if possible are get an appropriate replacement from Creative Menu.

    This shows as Crafting Level 5 when all Crafting Skill Books are read and not Level 10, which was non functional anyways...

    Another small update adds some new entities that will appear at 50GS intervals early on, which will increase to 100GS intervals and higher as the Prepper armed zombies appear... You'll understand when you see them.

  22. In the top right of the black screen there is a small message that suggests 'Spend your SPIFSAL points'.

     

    This is a requirement. Once all 21 SPIFSAL points have been applied to the Perk Skills Choices in the Attributes tracks, the black screen will fade back to normal view.

  23. Adventure Quest uses a .dll Harmony Patch. It appears to be searching for all available quests, and that will include from this mod. Contact the Adventure Quest creator and explain the issue. Maybe they can filter quests to not include from other quest mod packs.

     

    This mod cannot fix your issue as it's a simple, although sophisticated, xml mod that just adds new things to the game on top of what exists. Adventure Quest makes deeper changes to the game code, and that is where help should be sought.

  24. Pushed a small update for 3 POIs

    - Oldwest Apper (Stinky Strip) was updated to Infested to expand the T3 options.

    - Bony Xpress required some light updates. The automatic A21 update reversed the red and white industrial lights and this fixes them. It was also updated to Infested while in there.

    - School Fix also required some industrial light updates due to the automatic A21 update.
