  1. Great Mod,

     

    having a bit of an issue though the prefab xcustum_nepa_base(by_Eihwaz), has been disappearing when I get near it. Both in SP and MP. Out of the 9 or so I have found in both instances, 7 dissappeared.

     

    Known bug. A16 is a beast with all the changes. Magoli is fixing asap.

  2. Ok this was short..

     

    We have a rented server at Nitrado and we update the server with the WotW files from the 7d2d Launcher.

     

    Somehow the game goes corrupt (null reference etc etc like yesterday)

     

    Which download file should we use for our server, those from the launcher or from the first page of this topic?

     

    If it's the regular EAC version then that should be fine using either or.

  3. Nexus Mod Download Site now live! Downloads from here will take you there now. Also included in the optional files is the server side DLL File for the BBM Modded Version.

     

    Both versions are under same link. Just go to files on the nexus site and you will see the main EAC Version then under the optional files is the BBM Mod Version and the DLL Serverside File needed for Servers.

  6. Backpack mod is making problems if you relog with items in in they are gone and youre only able to use the vanilla slots

     

    You download the bigger bag mod from here right? I'm playing it and works fine.

  8. War of the Walkers Mod V5.1 B49 Release

     

    It's here and its ready for you! The big V5.1 Update is out! Below is a summary update log with the key features and changes but the trello page will have the complete list. This is too much to copy and past over :)

     

    Important Info for updating:

     

    1, A new game may be recommended due to the updated prefab pack that has changed the height map. But old save games should be fine, just expect some map issues when traveling to a new zone for the first time.

     

    2, 1 Feature changes the way recipes are unlocked. This may actually reset your learned recipes to be locked again. I apoligize in advance. You can always spawn in the recipes in the creative menu for the ones you really want to have back rather than just finding in loot. Up to server admins to decide to support that. Again this may or MAY NOT effect your unlocked recipes.

     

    3, With meat changes to generic white or red raw meat, the old raw pork, chicken, etc are now obsolete. All recipes now use the new meat. The old meat should be scrappable into the new type of meat. Simply select the meat and select scrap. This scrap recipe will be removed in a future update so use it while you can.

     

    4, Any gunsafes that you have placed before V5.1 will be needed to be destroyed and re crafted due to the new Lockpicking Feature. Especially for PvP Servers. Other wise those safes can be unlocked by a lockpick.

    • Claw Hammer Upgrade offset now 3 from 2

  9. I play with two other guys and this mod has reinvigorated the game for us. It's really good.

     

    Does anyone out there know how to craft Kevlar armor? I am Protector class 3, I have 73 Kevlar ready to go, and I crafted an armor specific workbench. But I can't find any place to craft the armor. There is no craft option. And the skill tree for Kevlar cannot be purchased.

    I just want to say thank you. I've got 2k hours plus playing 7 days, and the majority of it has been playing with your mod. I just wanted to say thank you for the work you put in when the game updates, and adding all the fun to the game you do. After playing the war of the walkers mod, vanilla 7 days leaves quite a bit to be desired. I know several people say how much they love your mod, and I do too. Your work on this is very, very much appreciated. Thank you.

    first off amazing mod :) keep up the good work its really refreshing.

    However one little thing bugs me and that is you've got the custom assets but usually every time I equip an item I get disappointed because the model is the same as the vanilla model.

     

    Is this a bug perhaps with EAC not allowing custom models, or is it simply not implemented yet?

  11. Looks to be a UI mishap in your smelting screen.

     

    Yes that is because I suck at xui changes lol. Needed to add tungsten line in the smxforgeinput window. I seem to have trouble getting the grey background to cover properly.

    And for some Big News for the V5.1 Big Bag Mod Release Version with No Sway, will ALSO INCLUDE sphereii's CRAFTING LAG FIX. This is hopefully done in time for release sphereii did say that I should have access to the file change by tonight. Figured if you can't use EAC because you want a bigger backpack, then you probably want that Crafting Lag Fix too :) I have tried a unreleased Version of this and trust me, it feel a lot more like vanilla recipe searching and such. No more forge issue with stacks, etc!

    Yes to what D3X_87 said but to add on is that you can eventually over time unlock all classes thus unlocking the recipes :)

    Have you had any luck getting the explosive shotgun slugs to work?

     

    As far as I can remember they are supposed to be incendiary bullets not but I got to check as getting them to work as explosives it would screw up the regular rounds to not do any intended damage to Entities.

  17. V5.1 is currently planned for release this weekend if all goes well. On final feature now which is taking longer than expected. Which is changing all schematics to reward skill that unlocks the recipe similar to the paint magazines. This way it's a lot easier seeing what recipes you have unlocked or are missing by simply opening your skill window and going to paint tab where all schematics will be listed under. I plan on also making it possible temparily for v5.0 release only to scrap the old raw meats into the new standardized versions.

     

    So after update. Recipes you may have already learned may be licked again until you find the book again. You can if want to cheat in those books to unlock those recipes again if you don't want to find that book again. And for servers it's up to the admins whether or not to do this for their server.

  18. I don't have much experience editing the loot.xml files so I could be completely wrong in saying this but when I looked at the file it seems like 3 of the class papers are commented out so they will never drop as loot (I am not sure if this affects traders or not)

    Im on my second game and after awhile my tools and weapons go to level one

     

    Known bug when completing class quests that reward skill points to a crafting perk that is locked by your player level. Level your player up and it will fix itself. This problem is fixed for v5.1

  19. Yes it is. You can find other class papers as loot, but they are very very very rare. (Survivalist seem to be more common than the others, at least i found much more of them).

     

    If i understand earlier posts from this thread correct, it should even be possible to craft them yourself. If you find any classpaper you should actually be able to scrap it, which turns into a blank classpapier which you are able to craft other classes with. But the "scrap" button is missing in the item menu with the current version of the mod.

     

    All true but current release build has bug preventing scrapping and some class papers aren't portable due to them being commented out in loot.xml. all is fixed in v5.1.

     

    BTW I'm on the last ticket item. Then it's a release candidate to test!!!
