  3. I have a question. For the cooking class tier 3, it says to craft bacon & eggs, but when I did that, it don’t show my progress. Am I doing something wrong? Thank you!

     

    Still have to have window open when crafting. Only player backpack crafting you don't need to have open to get credit

Hello, when i have immunity lvl max 20, when i try to use grain alcohol nothing happen, only extinguish fire but never buzzed, so i die ( some stone on my head :) ) i'm going back to immunity lvl 0, i drink grain alcohol, miracle that's work i'm buzzed, so my question : its normal or something wrong or i miss something ?

     

    i want to be buzzed :)

     

    That info really helped! I never thought of that being the cause. It's something I know about but haven't been able to nail down the cause

  8. Yes, I do believe so, although I can't find where it tells you the exact version you are downloading. It is, however, the only War of the Walkers 5.3 I can see to download through the 7D2D Mod Launcher. I can't get far enough to see that wonderful new Esc screen that has all the info on it. I know you can download directly without the mod launcher, but I'm not versed in computers well enough to tackle that on my own. As I said earlier, I've deleted the mod and re-downloaded the mod several times, although that is just me doing the very definition of insanity...LoL.

    That is the auto favourites dll hack. It's to help with craft menu lag.

  9. Hi guys,

     

    I was wondering if I could get a little help. I cannot get 5.3 to work for me...usually it won't get past 39% on the building screen before it crashes out to desktop. I can run other mod's and even WotW 5.2, but just no luck with 5.3. The log keeps telling me that the mod is corrupted and to delete and re-load, which I've done too many time to count. I'm the first to admit my extreme ignorance in all things computer, but in all my research of the past days I'm seeing GeForce and SDX or maybe unity are not always playing well together...but, that's all greek to me, so I thought I'd post my spec's and an output log from today and see if anyone could see the problem. I do download through the launcher with only *Update Registry and *Save All Games Local to Mod checked (just an FYI: I have a big bag mod for the Starvation mod, so I have to have EAC and auto refresh unchecked.) I've gone into Steam and verified integrity of game files, as well as made sure my virus program, Vipre, has been told to allow 7d2d and mods. Ok, enough waffeling, as Kickz would say =P...let's hope I give the right info! Tkx in advance for taking a gander at it!!

  11. hi everyone

    I started 2 days ago installing the server file for 5.3 wow server on a new never played copy of 7d2d . I got it started and it got about 10 lines of errors . I tried starting it again and the same . I reinstalled on another new copy and even download another new copy and still errors . Pretty bad . But along with the errors the screen just locked up saying "WAITING ON SERVER". I tried the 7d2d launch and did a perm install on a new copy of the client . It ran as a server fine but not as a dedicated server as I want to have. almost 3 days now and no JOY on the 7d2d dedicated wow5.3 server. Now it just tries to start the server over and over in 7d2d server manager.

    EAC successful allowing Player Mellow Rebel with idxxxxxxxxxx . Its allowing me to join but still locked up .

    I think its downloading the 'CHUNKS" but my screen does not show it but server manager does .

     

    The first error I see is showing something about not finding the water barrel. This is the SDX Files located in the Mods folder not installed correctly on Client Machine (Maybe not the server either) So try and make sure that is installed on both ends. And EAC has to be turned off for my mod otherwise you will not make it in the game. Sounds like the server has it enabled, thus preventing you from spawning in. If it was client side enabled you most likely won't even make it to the main menu but see a black screen

    Have the wandering horde mechanics been altered? I came out of a building I was looting and ran right into a football player horde. ON DAY 2!!

    Those type of blocks now require a Screwdriver to disassemble. Screwdriver is Tradesman Class Exclusive

    Checking out 5.3 SP and found that ESC no longer pauses the game. Hate having to exit the game every time I need to do something outside of it. Is this something that will be fixed?

     

    Sorry to say but your not playing SP then, you must have selected MP. That part is hard coded with game pausing on SP so I cannot change that myself.

    No Survivors and Bandits in V5.3 at all. Had to be removed due to bugs with them that was too common with this update. Sorry, but I do plan on one day to bring them back once I have time to work with them more

    not sure if this has been asked but did you add class traders to Navezgane?

     

    No unfortunately I haven't added any prefabs from my mod to Navezgane which I understand may hinder progression and my mod in general with that map. Maybe in the future at some point I can work with it, but not at this time

    after fixed i found minibikes For Dumb♥♥♥♥s book on 1 trader

     

    No that should be <property name="Skills_to_gain" value="minibikesForDumb♥♥♥♥sPerk"/> that perk is what unlocks the recipes...all schematics are like this now. This way you can see what recipes you have unlocked by simply just clicking on the Painting/Schematic tab in the skill menu and it lists all schematics and will tell you what your missing or have. Also shows if its a class only schematic etc. And I found this book already several times. Not a bug, just bad rng

    Havent played for a while and just started a new 5,3 game. Learned concrete and made cement mix. Can't seem to use it cause it needs portland cement.... Am I missing something?

     

    And what the hell do u upgrade scrap iron blocks with. Don't recognize the icon...

     

    I got to fix the descriptions for this. Rebar Frames requires a HD Nailgun and Portland Cement to upgrade to Reinforced Concrete. Concrete Mix is only good for crafting Regular Concrete Blocks or upgrading Cobblestone/Reinforced Iron Blocks to Concrete.

  13. Really? That makes a lot of sense now. I was wondering about that. I had assumed that they were implemented first and the other stuff for them was not yet implemented. It had never occurred to me that there was nothing in the code to allow for the return of items via a quest.

     

    I am hoping that we will have special npcs like crazy jake and some of the other clan heads that we can talk to after we finish enough initiation/hazing quests.

     

    I have been wondering a bit about how the game does things? With treasure chests, do those spawn when you read the map, or does the map randomly select a hidden chest that has been spawned in via world gen? I assume the latter because i hardly ever see chests at the bottom of lakes when i go swimming, only after i find the maps.

     

    I bring this up, because i think it may be possible to do something similar for an "assassination mission" via treasure maps. only it is a not that says "kill this special zombie boss in this building" and it will spawn in the zombie after the note is read on the map with a marker to it.

     

    Or we can simply add in a piece of paper that says "oh man you are in trouble", and it spawns in a large horde after you read it.....

     

    Well it kinda can be done through quests right now. Just it's a fixed reward. A17 adds the ability for chosen rewards and quests to be done through a npc rather than just reading a paper and things magically get rewarded. I like the idea of having to turn in a quest to a npc to get the rewards

  14. I ended up buying tradesman class c from a merchant. What would be cool is if there was a quest to turn in the porn mags for a class fragment of your choice. That would fix this problem without breaking immersion.

     

    Very interesting idea. Should be possible in a17. Code doesn't allow that in a16

  15. The RNG gods have cursed me, and i can not find a builder class c fragment to save my life. I am playing single player with cheats enabled so that i can teleport if i get glitched into something. It has been 76 in game days, and i am also level 164 with a high scavenging. I have all other fragments.

     

    I want to give it a few more in game days before i cheat spawn myself a class c fragment. My understanding is that they like to spawn in: Shops, cars, working stiff toolboxes and utility zombies. So far i have found everything else but the builder class c fragment.

     

    If the RNG gods still continue to torment me, i will break down and find the idcode to spawn it in. Where would i look to find that? which xml file do i look for? I manually installed the mod via copy and pasting, i did not use the mod loader tool.

     

    You can go into creative mode in game. Open up console F1 and type cm. This will enable it and then you can open up cheat menu using the U key then search for the fragment.

  16. I have recently had an issue with a Trader that worked just fine during the first 14 days but afterwards you get kicked out no matter what time of day you attempt to enter. Trader Jimmy is a ♥♥♥♥ and all but banishment from the store is a new one on me XD

     

    That happens when the trader despawns. It's a vanilla bug that usually occurres when the door to trader is left open. It's annoying but can be fixed if you go into god mode and fly slightly above the trader. High enough where you don't get kicked out and then spawn a trader in from that spot. It will fix the location.
