    That would fit at the small town/living houses or crafting houses, so not every customer walk over the flower the crafter's wife plant.

    So far i read, the mod launcher got problems with installing this overhaul. I think because it need to copy stuff at different folder then just Mods.

    But basicly you should look/ask that at the mod launcher topic, i hear the the newest version can do it.

    - as group you prolly suffer from good food at the beginning. You will prolly constant eat baked yucca/apple or orange slices maybe baked potatos grilled steak.

    That's why it is important to have a farmer class as groupd at the beginning.

    The class quest don't tell you, the farmer can craft a scrap metal hoe, with the hoe you can till dirt and plant seed's on it. Between tilling you need to have 1 row space. These space you can use for the water row. (Snowbee's video about rice farming).

    Once the farmer can craft an iron hoe, he should use that to harvest plants.

     

    - Storyline, not that important at the beginning, start with the 2.NPC at the traders, called white river scout.

    You need 10 reputation with them and they will give you an open trade route job to send you to the next storyline NPC, ...

    Btw. at multiplayer these scout quests can be very far away, that is a vanilla bug and can't be avoided.

     

    - You maybe notice there are Mastery perk's for each job. There are 3 way's to get these

    1. unlock it with 10 points

    2. Mastery book, very rare loot drop or craftable (expensive).

    3. buy the perk for 100k duke's from a trader. You need to have 29/30 reputation with the trader and the 100k dukes at the inventory before he show you the offer. (my prefered way). Each trader sell a different perk.

    Not mod files, the mod folder., but yes that's the manual way to instal mods.

    And how did you instal DF ? Used the mod launcher and the pin recipe you can't add over the mod launcher  too ?

     

    I can't say if it work's or not.

    But you can try it out yourself, just create a new SP world with that mod active, then try to pin some recipes.

    If that work's you can continue with your world, if it doesn't work, just delete it and maybe ask the mod author for a DF patch.

    that's the problem when the mod author is busy with new kitten at home and need to look at discord,reddit and forum.

    The mod launcher is right,. the latest DF version 4.03a  is for 7d2d 20.5 and works for 20.4.

    @everyone Alright folks, here it is. Darkness Falls V4.03A with compo pack included is now ready for everyone!
    
    This update includes some required tweaks so the mod will now be compatible with XBox Game Pass versions of the game. Also, this version of the mod has been tested on both 20.4 and 20.5 experimental, so you can use whichever version of the game you wish.

    i have been playing the newest version with compo pack all week long without a problem. but the game keeps crashing now every time i try to load my savegame. i thought, maybe the save has been corrupted (once again...) but starting a new game doesn't work either anymore.

     

    i re-copied my 7days folder and downloaded the mod again, but nothing changes, the game still keeps crashing :(

    No updates so far.

    And when you allready use a copied version of 7d2d for the mod, it shouldn't get update either.

    So when it worked before, nothing should change/update that.

    Did you recopy over the existing files or did you delete the old ones file. If not try to delete if first.

    If that don't help the logfile maybe would be helpful.

  8. You need to differ them the death buff and the wellness.

    The death buff lower the attributes/skills by 1, that mean you maybe can't craft something anymore you could before. The buff will go away over time.

     

    The wellness is the one which affect your HP and stamina.

    To raise/restore your wellness you need to eat/drink good food or use drugs that raise your wellness like vitamin's.

    But you can't spam good food, you need to wait until the good food buff is gone until you will get a new wellness boost from that food.

    That mean you can should drink 1 red tea and fill your thrist with regular boiled water.

    That's why it is important to cook stuff which give more wellness.

    NoCP means “No CompoPack”. CompoPack is the collection of fan-made POIs that are developed independently of Darkness Falls. Update: CompoPack is released now, and the POIs are being evaluated for inclusion in future DFalls Maps. "Soon".

    Looking for a new map to play? There are also a number of community-made maps that should work (see df-modlets-addons) RWG (Random World Gen) now works for Darkness Falls, in that it will place POIs in the correct biomes - however (and this is especially true for small maps) it is not guaranteed to place all POIs. ⚠️If you’re going to use RWG, you must check that the following POIs exist. If not, you can manually place them (although that’s beyond the scope of this FAQ).

     
    DFalls_Annas_House - Any non-wasteland city, Khaine prefers forest.     ⚠️You must also check a RWG map to make sure that the White River Scout is giving quests. In some map configurations she does not. If this is the case, the map will have to be regenerated. This seems to be especially frequent with modlets that increase RWG city density.

    Other modlets don't work well together with Overhaul mods, since the overhaul changed alot of the vanilla gamemechanics.

    And since the overhaul change the vanilla gamemechanic the EAC would made problems about the custom .dll's so no use.

    just got a problem.

    I manual delete SP saves and now Backup don't like to work anymore.

    It give out error msg. because it can't access the old savegame folder's anymore.

    And ofcouse it didn't do any backup's anymore.

     

    Hmm, maybe i found the problem, there was still backups/archives with that names. And backup tried to lookup for these real  savefolder and they wasn't there.

    Maybe you should add a failsafe. I don't think you can made a request to ask to delete these archives/backup when there isn't an actual save anymore.

    Or at last the mod should still doing backup, even after the error.

    Pro: you got a nice starting base with many workbenches and farm, since at DF the trader are 24h open and not protected.

    Contra: no trader for quests or shoping, no vendormashine, no scout (to buy medical stuff), don't know where the next trader are.

     

    I start 3 times that map and allways started at the same spot (but that was 4.01 or 4.02).

     

    When you want the extra challenge you should keep playing, your first goal should be to gather resources for a bicycle.

    Only Darkness Falls got spider, and that is mutated and look's more like a giant octupus but do spider sounds.

    Currently i didn't encounter any spiders or other then vanilla animals at Undead Legacy.

    You WAS a good user, until you didn't notice this isn't a mod or modlet how it is called for 7days, it is an Overhaul.

    And for Overhaul mod (and not only at 7days) you shouldn't use other mods with it, since you don't know if they don't interfere with the overhaul.

    TV,Desktop PC,Laptop, serveral wall installations like fusebox are all able to pickup.

    Sure you can either salvage them with the wrench, or carry them at home and use them at the Dissemble station.

    That takes time but i think you will get more out of it, and you will even get research notes.

    Normaly the quest would fail if the satchel get destroyed.

    When the POI don't want to reset, you should restart the server or when you play SP goto the mainscreen.

    I notice too that the zombie spawner don't work once you destroyed them until a world newstart.

    They grow without sunlight, just the grow light is needed.

    When you like to create a farm at bedrock depht.

    If you just got your farm on the surface, the regular seed are fine, together with the irrigation system.

    Ofcouse, why do you think they are locked behind the last soue chef perk (or does it was even the master farmer, don't remember). They give 5 wellness and maybe some buffs.

    Usually there's an icon for the White River supply's location, but there's none for me

    That is a uncommon bug for all quests (that the "!" don't appear)

    Just delete the quest and get it again from eve.

    Lower level tier quest for faction gain.

    Higher level tier quests for money. Special when you can select 2 rewards, you can get 1000-2000 extra duke's from the quest reward items. When you buy crafting perks or mastery skills you can need the extra cash.

    Lvl 5 buried supplies can be done pretty fast.

    You are new to overhaul mods like Undead Legacy or Darkness Falls ?

    Both got big backpacks and alot more different item's then vanilla.

    While at DF you get overburden pretty fast if you loot any container on your way, at last at UL you don't unless you hit the weight limit.

    At the beginning you should concentrate to find a temp. base, pickup some cardbox underway or use the storage of the POI if you settle there.

    Once you have room to drop the stuff, you can go and loot.
