  1. I can dig up a previous version. Was there a particular reason you were holding back on Windows 10 updates?
  2. I'm not sure how disabling TLS would have adversely affected the performance of your system, especially for games. It basically allowed the computer to talk a new encryption language. Something else may have affected your system. Have you ran a spyware check lately? updated any drivers lately?
  3. Thanks SylenThunder For those who are on Windows 8, and wants to update to Windows 8.1 (free update), here is a link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/help/15288/windows-8-update-to-windows-8-1
  4. Is there a particular reason why .NET 4.7.x won't work on your system? It was a necessary change for Windows 7 users.
  5. D:\ should be safe. You shouldn't have to format it. If you wanted to avoid formatting, you could try the zip file: https://7d2dlauncher.blob.core.windows.net/installer/Release.zip
  6. If you used a local save, you may find them under D:\7D2D\Saves?
  7. Have you installed .NET 4.7.2: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=56116 Your saves should be here: %APPDATA%\7DaysToDie\Saves
  8. Okay, I was hoping to get a bit of a whimper in the logs, but alas now. have you tried to redownload the exe and run it again? https://7d2dlauncher.blob.core.windows.net/installer/7D2DModLauncher.exe
  9. Hmm, that is odd. I've never had it not work for that type of issue. Can you open up your Run command ( Windows Key + R ) and paste this in: %tmp%/7d2dlauncher.txt that will open up the launcher's log file. If you can copy and paste the contents into pastebin.com, and post me the link, I'd be happy to look over it.
  10. Sorry for the trouble. It sounds like your OneClick Cache is corrupted. https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/help/2713442/clickonce-application-fails-to-update
  11. Which version of the Mod Launcher are you using? And what version of windows? Could you post your launcher log? Click on the View menu, then Log Files. Click on Upload Log file, and give me the pastebin.com link it gives you.
  12. It's a very strange situation. Let me know if you need any more assistance. - - - Updated - - - Sorry for the trouble. Let's see if we can piece together this puzzle. If the mod list isn't being populated, you could try clicking on Disable SSL, then re-starting the mod launcher. If that does not work, click on File -> Clear -> Clear Mod History. If those options don't work, would you mind posting your log file? The log file can be found by clicking on the View menu, then Log files. Click on Upload Log file, and give me the pastebin.com link it gives you.
  13. Hmm, so it won't let you install 4.7.1? https://www.microsoft.com/net/download/thank-you/net471
  14. It's certainly an interesting issue. Do you have SP1 (Service Pack 1) installed? https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/download/details.aspx?id=5842
  15. Why can it not install 4.7.1? It's listed as supported in Windows 7 SP and up. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=56115
  16. Excellent! I found another setting I could turn on for you, so I did. New update! 1.0.5.2! Small force of TLS now for regular web downloads
  17. Hmm, I've seen that error before. Would you mind trying this test version: https://github.com/SphereII/SDXWorkshop/raw/master/Launcher/Release.zip
  18. Update time: 1.0.5.1 I believe we finally fixed the Github issue that has been affecting Windows 7 users, even without applying the EasyFix. I appreciate everyone's patience in this frustrating matter. That being said, this updates a lot of core libraries, despite the actual very small fix we needed. Please let me know if you experience any issues, across any of the Windows Platforms.
  19. Your best bet, is to disable Refresh Mods automatically, or not even use the Mod Launcher once the mod is up and running. Then you can patch in your files, and play directly by going to the folder.
  20. Starvation uses a special UI, so merging it into a standard bigger back pack mod isn't possible. You'd have to find a particular backpack that would work with starvation specifically.
  21. No worries. The log files would help a lot. McAfee has been known to attack some of the mods. You may need to set the folder to be excluded, such as the C:\7D2D\
  22. [ Windows 7 Users Test Version ] I have a test version of the mod launcher that attempts to fix the issue that Windows 7 users are experiencing. I would like to have a few people who are having an issue to try this new version, if you have some time to spare. It's just a zip file, a simple extract and run-in-place. It won't replace your current version. The Windows 7 Issue happens when you do a Pre-sync, the mod launcher gives a repeating error, and does not do the download. It does not occur on all windows 7 users, which makes testing challenging. If you are interested in testing, and providing feed back, please download and try this: https://7d2dlauncher.blob.core.windows.net/installer/Release.zip While the fix targets just Windows 7 users, I'd appreciate if people running on Windows 8 / 10 would give it a try too. Many thanks,
  23. Sorry for the trouble. Do you know what kind of NULL ref error you are getting? If you can reproduce the error, would you mind doing the following steps? 1) Reproduce the problem 2) In the Mod Launcher, go to the View Menu, then Log Files 3) Click on Upload Log file button, and provide me with the pastebin.com link it gives you. 4) In the same same, click on the drop down box that says 7d2dlauncher.txt and change it to output_log.txt 5) Click on the upload Log file button again, and provide me with that pastebin.com link too. Are you running any anti-virus software?
  24. Yup, thank you! Can you look under the mods folder and see what folders do you have. Do you have ItemIconTest and SDX? I fos, delete the ItemIconTest, and reload.
