Not finding it is one thing, but when it actually glitches and causes the game FPS to drop to 5FPS, it breaks the game. I had to abandon a save because of it.
I just took a look at the list of known bugs and it is on there. Hopefully this one gets resolved ASAP, along with the bug that spawns you in the middle of nowhere when choosing to spawn near backpack.

Had a game session today and it happened again. My friend had to walk back to us 4km away after he chose to spawn near backpack. Anyone else having this issue?

After having this issue when A21 first came out, I have since stopped using drones and told users on my server to not deploy them. I really hope there is a fix for this. In my case it didn't only disappear, but my FPS dropped to 5fps and my minibike drove 10x as fast and then exploded when hitting a tree. Totally messed my save up. I hope this bug has been added to the official list.

Yeah I just had it happen a few days ago and it also threw me in some random spot. I guess it has nothing to do with multiple back packs after all...

Does anyone know how to get rid of a sleeper bear when placed using the Creative menu? It won't wake up, I can't kill it, I clip right through it when I walk. If I shoot it's as if it isn't even there. The bullets hit the ground under it.

NM, I figured it out. You need to hit the exact block it was placed on. You can't swing at the body itself...

I just realized something that may help figure the spawning near backpack issue out. After watching the video of our stream, it seems that this may happen if a person dies, doesn't pickup their first backpack, and then dies later on and when choosing spawn near backpack it sends them to their first dropped backpack not the latest one.
Seems the game is having issues if multiple player backpacks are on the map.

ok so exiting the game and re-entering solves the problem with the weapons attached to the wrist. Not sure what the cause was. Here is a screenshot. I think it may be server side since it was affecting everyone in the game.

Hi, I am not using mods. The server is a fresh build that I've just setup. It's running on A21.1, but the save is from A21.

This is not a report, this is a question.
I was playing online with my friends using my dedi server, and it was 6 of us. In 3 separate instances, my friends died, and when choosing spawn near backpack, they were shot 2-4KM away form their backpack on the map. They had to kill themselves and then choose to either spawn on bedroll, or backpack again which then worked the second time around.
We also noticed an issue where tools and weapons, are not being held properly in our hands. For example the machete is attached to my wrist.
Has anyone experienced these issues or have any info?

NM, please delete. Even with admin it's still having this issue. At this point all I can think of is either the SSD or the MB...to hell with this thing....

I have a dedicated server and noticed that it has random restarts/shutdowns (kernel power events in the system logs). I've tried everything, replace the power supply, ram, reimage the hdd, diagnostic tests, replace even the processor. I did notice something though, if I have the profile set to have admin capabilities, the issue seems to go away (I'm still not 100% sure though).
Does the server application for 7 Days to die require the Windows 10 user profile to be part of the Admin group?

My server is running win10 and it thinks the exported cert is a MS-DOS program. I can't run it or install it.
I had to change the extension from .com to .cer

I've tried to find a mod to replace them but it's apparently not something that's easily modifiable
YESSSS!! The old level up sound was also good. I think they repurposed it for when you've read all the books, for example Needle and Thread. It was way better than the current one. Made it feel more rewarding to level up.

I searched the forum and didn't come across anything with this issue.
When I launch the game I get the below warning. Strange since 7 Days to die doesn't support Steam cloud. Anyone else get this, and what is the fix? Thanks

Damn I didn't realize that Mods stick after doing an uninstall/install of a game. Thanks for letting me know. I've removed it. Pretty sure that isn't the cause though since others are having the same issue. I did start a new game and so far it's been ok. Keep in mind that I don't have a mini bike though... Frame rates are good though.

I've been having some strange issues today with low FPS. (i7 11700k OC, 3070RTX, 32 GB RAM)
The game has been playing fine till today.
My FPS were 10 or lower at some points.
I rebooted my PC, uninstalled/reinstalled the game, still no luck.
I then started a new game and it started to work fine.
I then went back to my experimental save and it also started to work fine (thankfully)
I then hopped onto my mini bike to do an opening trade routes mission. After driving for about 10 seconds the frame rate dropped very low again, but this time the bike sped up really fast. It must have been going 10x its normal speed. I ended up driving it into a tree because I couldn't control it because of the high speed and low frame rate combination. The bike then exploded and now it is lost. Strage thing is, the bike information like gas a health is still stuck on the screen.
After the mini bike blew up, the FPS are back to normal now.Never mind they are still under 10fps.Anyone experience this?

Anyone else miss the old blood moon sound where it sounds like a bunch of zombies screaming as soon as it hits 22:00? I wish certain things wouldn't change. If it isn't broke don't fix it..

I agree with this to a certain extent. I think the stealth system is broken. I wish we would go back to the days where it would say "Hunted" and an eye would open when you're sneaking to show that they've detected you.
All in all, stealth should work by sound/noise volume, not by action or distance. BRING BACK THE OLD STEALTH WITH THE "HUNTED" ALERT.

Now that we have levelling up by reading for crafting, it will work perfectly with level up by doing for perks.
When I say level up by doing, I don't mean the old version that 7DTD used to use which was broken.
If done correctly the game would be perfectly balanced.
EXAMPLE:
Use the bow to kill zombies often > Level up bow skill which would also include perks > Find more books about bows > Read books about bows > Craft better bows
This would make the levelling system rewarding and it would also be automated. Another advantage would be more increments between perks. So instead of going from 0% stamina bonus to 15% for Miner 69er, each time you level up by doing, it would go up by 1%. So you have a gradual curve for perk increases instead of big jumps that are limited to 5 levels.
Please take this back to the team and reconsider. I know you like level up by doing, it's just that it was originally done the wrong way. You can still make it work if you use the idea above.
Points are outdated and have disadvantages, please move away from them.
