  1. I get my mods from https://www.nexusmods.com/7daystodie/mods/ or https://7daystodiemods.com/
  2. yes. Just like mentioned above. I have each game version in a separate folder and each exe in each folder I used to make a shortcut on the desktop. Personally myself. As I had the room I downloaded each version and kept a copy of them on a second hard drive. As I have a desire to play a certain version I just make a folder on my C drive and copy the vanilla version to the folder. That then would be the only copy I would make any changes like adding mods. Yes I have also saved a folder with some mods from older versions lol. Not a lot sadly as didn't think to do it early enough, but you can still find some mods out there for version back to about 16.
  3. Yeah, all those older versions you see me show, I have made a shortcut on my desktop to the exe files in the folders
  4. Is the hitbox for detonation just the little light or is it the box itself?
  5. I have played versions back to A5 but you can get them on steam at least back to A8. I have even watched a streamer in the last month or so playing A17. What version were you looking to play? I have most of them downloaded and I may be able to do a quick setup of it and try and see how it gores These are a few I have on comp at moment.
  6. If my memory is correct one time we could crawl through a one block hole. But then (again from what I recall) it was said if zombies couldn't do it then players shouldn't be able too. Then dogs and crawlers could get through. I would assume if zombies regained the ability to do it then we should have too. Not being a dev of the game I have no power to do that so guess playing with the settings as is is all I (we) can do.
  7. Was just checking out some 7 Days stuff on steam and figured it is about time for an update on some of the specs. I had windows 7 on this comp for many years and resisted updating to 10 as my lazy butt didn't want to have to go through loading all my crap on again. Well steam made the decision for me when it said Windows 7 would no longer be supported which I took to mean my games wouldn't work so I had no choice. Sort of glad as my game runs smoother and no longer eats up my full amount of ram I have. (yes, I know win 10 is on it's last leg also but figure I have a while before I have to do anything about that) The thing is 7 days and even the blood moons says the minimum and the recommended spec is Windows 7. Just a thought
  8. lol don't be relieved yet khzmusik. Guppy did give him the ok to lie if answer was yes
  9. Just curious. When the console version becomes available will there be a console streamers event?
  10. I think meganoth is referring to the post above theirs. Warmongerian is talking about doing a horde night and posting it in the forum. Also talking of doing a base walkthrough. I am assuming here (and yes I know about what happens when you assume lol) but it seems to me that is what meganoth was referring to.
  11. I recall those games. Not them being that deep but deep enough I know to get to bottom I would use over half my breath so knew I would die on way up. In order to get a crate that deep I would dive down and place blocks on top of each other swimming up so fast as I could. Then after dying I would go down and continue where I left off until I got to top of water. Then I would make ladders, dive down and start placing ladders on those blocks the same way I placed the blocks. When that was done then I had a fast way down as you could climb down ladders way faster than you could swim down.
  12. This is just my personal opinion on the subject. I like to watch people play this game sometimes and will even chat and interact if they have TI on. I don't necessarily go for ones that have cams but if they do I enjoy them if they are easily jumpscared. What can I say I find it amusing lol. It also doesn't need to be 1/4 of their screen. Just a small pic is fine as long as you can tell what is going on. Now this is the part I don't understand. What is the reason for having anime or cartoon avatars? I get some don't want to show their face but they can do that but just not showing their face. I don't get the idea of having a cartoon character covering part of the screen and potentially covering info the viewer might want/need to see. Some game it might not matter as there may not be a lot of info on the screen but I find it is harder to do in 7 days as most of the screen you really might need to see. So for me, live cam pick the least critical info to cover. No live cam, well for me, please don't have an animated avatar covering up info I would like to see in game. Again, just my personal view on it.
  13. I had thought I had bought a copy as a gift a few years ago but am not sure if I had given it to someone right away or if I had it in my account for a while. I can see them doing it like you said as someone or a bunch of people could just buy copies of the game when on sale and pass them out at a later date. Could even see it being a scalper problem if you could wait.
  14. Yes, works fine for me as am playing single player but in a co-op game it wouldn't work so well and not sure how it could be set up There is a full list of books in game you could see. Am not sure how hard it would be to add 2 icons to the right (like the buy one in perks) and have one be Read This Set and other be Don't Read This Set. That may just be a ton of programming they might have to do as I have no idea what would be involved.
  15. I am not sure how this all works but say I wanted to buy the 2 pack as a gift, do I have to use it right away? Does it ever expire if not used like in say, a year? Can you split the 2 pack? (I am thinking you can as why would you give someone two copies but am just making sure lol) I would like to have a copy or 2 that I could just give to someone in future that I think would enjoy the game but am not sure of when that will ever be. I don't think I could say give it to someone in another country but I think I could if they are in North America. Also not sure if this is true. So many questions lol.
  16. Not sure how many game days you are in but I see you are still using level one tools. I am wondering if you might be progressing too fast as you are level 14 already. And gamestage 18. Might new players not get some fairly high zombies their first horde night. If not mistaken zombies are tied to gamestage now and not the day for hordes.
  17. I am using a mod that auto reads the unread books when I pick them up. The only thing is on a multiplayer game I think it would be same for everyone so people wouldn't be able to bring books home for other players to read
  18. Did it for you in the traditional haiku format. My very first attempt at one actually. First there were glass jars Then there were no jars around Nothing more to say
  19. Flat option. I would like to make a world so flat that if I had a good enough scope on my rifle I could see a deer on the opposite end of the map. Map so flat that the flat earthers would be using the game as proof that the world really is flat and that TFP's know the truth and are teasing it in the game.
  20. Have you ever connected to your friend before with this computer or is this first time trying? Have you tried logging into a random server just to see if you can connect or if you get the same error?
  21. That was just mean...or should I say in bad taste lol. IDK what they taste like so just guessing.
  22. You could just select Not Listed for Server Visibility if you don't want anyone joining your game. I do that and I also add a password for good measure.
  23. A small mall would be nice. Could do a "Dawn of the Dead" playthrough. That was bad...just so very very bad
  24. Same. Just thought I would give my 2 dukes on the subject.
