Pille
Does 7dtd still officially support 32 bit OS? According to the store page you need at least 6 GB memory. However, 32 bit Windows cannot handle more 4 GB memory. Is this a mistake or somehow intended? OS: WindowsXP (Service Pack 3) Processor: 2.4 Ghz Dual Core CPU Memory: 6 GB RAM Graphics: 1 GB Dedicated Memory DirectX: Version 10 Network: Broadband Internet connection Storage: 4 GB available space Sound Card: Sound Card: DirectX® Compatible Additional Notes: Running the Dedicated Server and Client on the same computer will double ram requirements. Also future releases may require more hard drive space.
SylenThunder
There is a 32-bit version you can enable through the launcher. It likely won't be around for long though unless a17 brings a fair amount of optimizations. You will need 6GB RAM though, so that your OS can have 2, and the game can have 4. Overall the experience is kind of meh, as you will end up using the pagefile quite a bit. When you switch from RAM to the slow disk, FPS will tank for a short period. Truly i mean no offense by the following statement. 8GB RAM with a 64-bit has been the norm since around 2010. Operating on less isn't a real smart idea on most games designed since 2013. Oh, and XP is dead.
