Simlex
Summary: Every time i launch the game it crashes when the loaging screen with "loading particles" is displayed Game Version: (V1.0 b3xx) OS/Version: Windows CPU Model: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 System Memory: (4 GB / 8 GB / 16 GB / etc) GPU Model and VRAM: nVidia RTX 2070 Screen Resolution: 1920x1080 Video Settings: can't even choose I already cleaned old saves and maps as suggested for V1.0 and deleted the mods file. My drivers and my OS are running on the latest version. I validated my files by steam wich indicated that 1 file was missing. Did not resolved the issue. Are you using any mods? No EAC on or off doesn't change anything. Link to Pastebin Output Log: https://pastebin.com/wMckFANW
Beelzybub
From the game Launcher select Tools/Clean game data... check all the boxes and press "Clean". After that, don't start the game. Verify files twice through Steam, then try to play.
Simlex
Thanks for your answer but unfortunately my game still crashes the same way. The output logs have not changed either.

Misamor
Having the same issue, and I'm seeing a 1-month old thread on steam with many people on it having the same problem. How is that not resolved yet? We literally can't play the game lol.
Jugginator
If your log file just dies and there's nothing reported in it, it's most likely an antivirus issue, or something wrong in the system. Eventviewer can help with this, take a look there and report here what it says Edited July 29 by Jugginator (see edit history)

Will not load AssetBundle 'items.bundle' That one indicates you have bad files in your items file. Try verifying your files a few times.

Jugginator
Hm, not sure. You're definitely not getting the download properly from Steam, do you have intrusive 3rd party antivirus software? Lots of those have been known to cause issues like this.
Misamor
Nope, just Windows Defender. EDIT: Deleting everything, including the roaming file and regenerating everything worked. Note that I didn't try just deleting the roaming file and not deleting the game, I just did both. Jugginator
Strange. It may be worth deleting the download cache from steam, maybe it'll help in the future. Glad it's working though
